RWWOKS Chapter 15

This entry is part 16 of 247 in the series The Reincarnation World Where Only I Know the Storyline

Chapter 15: Selling Items

Seeing business come his way, the vendor’s eyes lit up.

“A bunch of new recruits arrived recently; some of them look like they have potential. So, which world did you go through, kid?”

Clearly trying to make small talk, Fang Bo wasn’t interested in playing along. He simply repeated himself.

“Boss, one Newcomer’s Guide, please.”

“You sure are wary, aren’t you?” The vendor picked up a thin booklet, smiling brightly. “Don’t be fooled by how small this thing is—you’ll find loads of useful info in it. And at just 5 Plot Points, it’s a real bargain.”

It was a reasonable price. Even though the booklet could be resold indefinitely, knowledge is a service you pay for willingly. You could save a bit of money, sure, but you might end up paying a much higher price in the long run.

Looking around at the crowded stalls, Fang Bo found it odd that nobody else was competing with this vendor. Just copying the booklet and reselling it to new players could be an easy way to earn Plot Points.

“Kid, you’re not thinking of snatching my business, are you?” The vendor suddenly grinned, his eyes filled with a strange, unspoken malice. “In a Level One-Difficulty world, no one can take my trade. But if you don’t believe me, feel free to try.”

Indeed, no one was going up against this vendor. There was clearly more to the situation than Fang Bo knew. Fortunately, he never had the idea to interfere in the first place, so he didn’t bother with the vendor’s threat and simply took the booklet and walked away.

Finding a quiet corner, he sat down and carefully read through the information. The previously mysterious Reincarnation Space was gradually revealing its secrets to him.

Half an hour later, Fang Bo finally lifted his head and carefully put away the booklet so he could revisit it as needed.

Next, he opened the inventory in his wrist tattoo and took out the most valuable item: a necklace.

**Name:** “Unreturnable Hometown”

**Grade:** Silver-tier Story Equipment

**Type:** Necklace

**Durability:** 60/60

**Attribute Enhancement:** +3 Spirit

**Usage Requirement:** Spirit 12, Perception 10

**Equipment Effect:** Titan Summoning

**Origin:** Attack on Titan

**Equipment Evaluation:** These little things can help you out a lot, holding the memories of three warriors.

**Titan Summoning (Active Skill):** Consumes 5 Spirit to instantly summon three small Aberrant Titans, lasting for 10 minutes with a cooldown of 3 hours.

Once equipped, Fang Bo’s Spirit attribute jumped by 3 points, and his mind instantly felt clearer.

**Spirit:** 15 (+3)

“According to the booklet, a Spirit of 15 is close to the limit in a Level One-Difficulty world.”

Without guidance, his high Spirit was mostly unused potential. But after reading the booklet, he quickly learned the fighting style of Spirit-based warriors.

Just like strength-based fighters use punches and kicks, Spirit users could directly influence a target’s mind, dealing non-physical “Mental Shock” damage.

Depending on how much Spirit was used, the damage would vary in strength—a basic technique for Spirit specialists.

“Great, another way to attack.”

Without closing his attribute panel, Fang Bo’s eyes fell on his unused three attribute points.

These points could be used at any time by a reincarnator, allowing them to level up attributes as they wished.

While he wanted to max out his Spirit attribute to the world’s peak, he had another piece of equipment waiting to be used.

**Usage Requirement:** Constitution 7, Maneuver Gear Control Skill LV3

“Let’s put two points into Constitution and one into Spirit.”

Once he added the points, it was time to upgrade his base skill.

[Maneuver Gear Control Skill LV1 → LV2: Consumes 50 Plot Points. Confirm upgrade?]

“Confirm.”

[Maneuver Gear Control Skill LV2 → LV3: Consumes 100 Plot Points. Confirm upgrade?]

No hesitation—he upgraded immediately.

Once the usage requirements were met, the improved maneuver gear immediately became available for equipping.

Strapping it to his waist, Fang Bo’s attributes were noticeably enhanced.

[Life: 90/90 (+20)

State: Healthy

Strength: 7 (+1)

Constitution: 7

Agility: 6 (+1)

Spirit: 16 (+3)

Perception: 10]

With stats like these, no one would believe he was a newcomer who had just completed his trial mission.

To become a mature and seasoned reincarnator, all he needed now was a trump card skill.

“Skills might be hard to find, so I can post a request on the noticeboard.”

Following the booklet’s guidance, Fang Bo headed to the center of the plaza and put up his skill request for everyone to see.

[Category: Skill]

[Attribute Preference: Spirit, Summoning, Healing]

[Price Range: 500–2000 Plot Points]

Why look for a healing skill?

Simple. He already had equipment to summon Titans. If he could heal them, he’d greatly extend the combat endurance of his three Aberrant Titans.

Since he wasn’t good at close-quarters combat and didn’t want to join a team, he had to find a way to be a one-man army.

That’s why he posted a request for summoning and healing skills.

Of course, even if a good skill showed up, he probably couldn’t afford it. So, he needed to find a way to sell off his goods first.

[Item Name: Colossal Titan Bloodline Serum]

[Fixed Price: 5000 Plot Points]

[Note: Open to skill or equipment trades of equal value.]

The 5,000 Plot Points price was set intentionally high—nobody in their right mind would spend that much for a Titan transformation.

His real intention was to create exposure so that more people would know about the serum.

Competition would drive up the price.

But for now, his top priority was to upgrade his military rank.

According to the booklet, Merit Points were incredibly valuable and could even influence the rules set by the Reincarnation Space.

While it didn’t go into much detail, it did provide some examples.

For instance, if you knew the next storyline world in advance, you could make preparations for it.

Or you could increase the number of selectable worlds, allowing you to choose a storyline most beneficial to yourself.

You could even track other reincarnators, entering their storyline to settle personal scores.

These were just a few possibilities. In short, you should never pass up a chance to earn Merit Points.

The lowest rank was Private Third Class, requiring 5 Merit Points to upgrade.

Private Second Class required 10 points, and Private First Class needed 15.

At the moment, Fang Bo could directly be promoted to Private Second Class in the Reincarnation Space.

All he had to do was return to his private room, where reincarnators could upgrade their ranks.

By the way, you could change the layout of your room however you liked. Fang Bo went with an English-style castle.

The decor was elegant, though it kind of gave off the vibe of having monsters hidden somewhere.

“Space, upgrade my rank.”
