RWWOKS Chapter 60

This entry is part 61 of 247 in the series The Reincarnation World Where Only I Know the Storyline

Chapter 60: The Adventure of the Blood Wind Sword

Compared to stun attacks that could be countered, Fang Bo felt that the Poison Needle skill had far greater potential for growth.

Spiders were naturally venomous, and Jorogumo could continuously stack poison damage.

If given the right opportunity, this skill could deliver devastating damage output.

“If only I could find a way to enhance her venom,” he thought.

Looking at the skeletal remains of the giant, Fang Bo dismissed Jorogumo from the summoning. He now had a good grasp of her combat capabilities.

She could single-handedly defeat elite pirates like Paul, but was still no match for bosses like Kuro or the Pirate Admirals.

However, if Fang Bo coordinated with his summons and combined various restriction skills, there was a chance he could take on those bosses.

As he made his way back to his personal space, Fang Bo noticed that the participants in the space war had already gathered at the plaza.

With nothing else to do, he stood by quietly, admiring the grand scene.

The participants were gathered but didn’t immediately move, as if waiting for something.

Suddenly, a portal appeared above, and a man in a black trench coat stepped forward before the crowd.

“Look, that’s a powerful reincarnator from the level-2 world.”

“Why did he return? Opening a portal costs a lot of merit points, right?”

“The group is about to depart, so he’s probably here to give them some final instructions.”

“But that person…”

*ROAR!!!*

A sudden beastly roar interrupted the reincarnators’ discussions.

Under immense pressure, everyone strained to lift their heads, their eyes locking onto a massive creature with cyan eyes and silver-white scales.

It was a rare dragon, its emerald-like eyes gleaming with a cold, piercing gaze as it looked down on the crowd.

The beast’s fearsome presence was like a mountain, solid and unshakable, as if declaring its dominance to the world.

“Is that… the legendary Blue-Eyes White Dragon?!”

“Yes, it is! I’ve seen illustrations of it in an intelligence report somewhere.”

The Blue-Eyes White Dragon, a summon beast from the *Yu-Gi-Oh!* world, possessed terrifying destructive power.

Strictly speaking, it was in the same category as Jorogumo, both being summoned beasts. However, their power levels were on entirely different scales.

Even Fang Bo, who had seen a lot, was shocked. He hadn’t expected to see such a fearsome creature in a level-1 difficulty world.

The Blue-Eyes White Dragon’s claws were as sharp as blades, capable of tearing through anything in its path. Most striking were its scales, each one polished like a gemstone, smooth as a mirror, emitting a faint glow.

These scales not only served as protection but also gave the dragon an unassailable aura of majesty.

The air seemed to freeze in its presence, its lofty demeanor akin to that of a king.

As a summoner, Fang Bo was like a lustful demon seeing a beautiful woman, itching to kill the trench-coated man and claim the dragon’s card for himself.

Unfortunately, the reincarnation space forbade fighting, and Fang Bo knew he was no match for the man.

“It’s fine. There’s always next time,” he thought, casting one last glance at the dragon before returning to his cabin.

After the ordeal in the Onmyoji world, the items he had put up for sale were all gone.

The poison bullet crafting blueprint was sold for 340 plot points.

The gene modification potion fetched a final price of 920 points.

The admiral’s pocket watch sold for 240 points, while the Kusanagi’s Blood earned him 300 points.

In total, these items brought in 1,800 plot points, nicely compensating for the points he had spent upgrading his skills.

**Plot points: 3655.**

With his wallet full again, Fang Bo decided to upgrade his basic skills. He figured keeping around 1,000 points in reserve should be enough, and the rest could be used to enhance his abilities.

Especially his shooting skill—its current level was so low that he feared missing every time he fired his Dragoon pistol.

He had no choice. With a ten-second reload time for each shot, missing wasn’t an option.

For the sake of his damage output, he had to improve his basic shooting skill.

[Basic Shooting LV5-LV6 requires 300 plot points. Confirm upgrade?]

“Upgrade.”

[Basic Shooting LV6-LV7 requires 350 plot points. Confirm upgrade?]

“Upgrade.”

[Basic Shooting LV7-LV8 requires 400 plot points. Confirm upgrade?]

“Upgrade.”

With his shooting skill now at level 8, Fang Bo could confidently be called a sharpshooter in most situations, at least while standing still. His shots wouldn’t miss.

As for shooting while on the move, that was still uncertain. He’d probably need to learn a specialized skill for that.

Someone like Vincenzo, the gunner, was a master of mobile shooting. His speed often exhausted his opponents before they even had a chance to fight back.

But Fang Bo wasn’t a dedicated gunner, and level 8 basic shooting was enough for him.

Looking at his remaining plot points, he decided to upgrade his 3D maneuver gear control skill to level 6 as well.

With this upgrade, his use of the 3D maneuver gear would now be on par with the top-ranked soldiers in the Survey Corps.

Only a few could still surpass him.

**Plot points: 1855.**

“There’s nothing more I can upgrade for now,” Fang Bo thought, satisfied after burning through the plot points he’d earned from selling his items.

It felt like he’d gotten a bunch of skill upgrades for free.

With nothing else to do, Fang Bo decided to check out his next plot world.

Though he still had time before the reincarnation space forced him into the next mission, he didn’t want to waste it.

Once he viewed the details of the next plot world, a countdown timer would be triggered, giving him about five hours to prepare.

He strolled leisurely to the central plaza, where the participants of the space war had already disappeared.

However, it didn’t seem like there were any fewer people around—the plaza was still buzzing with voices.

“Azure Fire Drop, the pinnacle of violent output. A must-have for any powerhouse!”

“High-tech hoverboard, perfect for all sorts of terrains.”

“Single-target Doom Wave, deadly killing force!”

“A pirate’s horn, perfect for summoning ocean creatures.”

“Looking for a tank for *Kamen Rider* world!”

“Join the Ghost Dominator guild. Membership spots open—gear trades only, no plot points!”

After browsing for a while, Fang Bo found some good stuff, though most of it wasn’t suitable for him. He still had one skill slot left, and he hadn’t yet decided what to fill it with.

Approaching the portal, he submitted his request.

[ID Number 14552 requests early entry into the plot world.]

The space quickly displayed the details of his next mission.

Legends say that after the sun sets, demons roam the land. In response, demon hunters rise up, sacrificing their lives to protect the people, generation after generation.

When happiness is destroyed, the scent of blood lingers in the air.

Even if my body perishes, I will slay the demons!

**The Adventure of the Blood Wind Sword begins!**

[Plot world confirmed. ID Number 14552 will enter the plot world: *Demon Slayer* in 5 hours!]

“*Demon Slayer*?” Fang Bo paused, a small smile creeping across his face.

Compared to the vastness of the *One Piece* world, the stories in *Demon Slayer* were simpler, and the power levels were nowhere near as overwhelming. At least, it wouldn’t feature forces that defied common sense.

The strongest character, Yoriichi Tsugikuni, would undoubtedly be much stronger than Fang Bo, but fortunately, Fang Bo wasn’t tasked with fighting the top figure in the *Demon Slayer* world.

The final boss, Muzan Kibutsuji, was far weaker than Yoriichi. As for how much weaker, it was hard to say, and even Fang Bo wasn’t sure how to estimate it.

For now, everything was just speculation. He would have to experience the power dynamics of the *Demon Slayer* world firsthand.

“The plot there is pretty straightforward—mainly focusing on the Demon Slayer Corps versus the Twelve Kizuki. Most likely, my task will involve hunting demons.”

To earn the best rewards, Fang Bo would have to complete as many hidden missions as possible.

If he could hunt one of the Upper Moon demons, the rewards would undoubtedly be significant.

“If I manage to kill Muzan and end the *Demon Slayer* plot entirely, that would be the perfect outcome.”

It was a great idea, but putting it into action would be difficult.

The Upper Moons alone possessed power far beyond what Fang Bo could handle on his own.

Whether he succeeded would depend on how he planned his moves and, crucially, which teammates the space assigned to him.

If he ended up with a group of incompetent allies or if it turned into a kill mode scenario, his hopes of defeating Muzan would be close to zero.

“These things are out of my control,” Fang Bo thought.

*Beep beep beep!*

A transmission came through. It was from Olsen, the man with the blood of the Heavenly Gods.

Olsen wanted to talk, but Fang Bo wasn’t in the mood.

“I’m about to enter a plot world. Let’s talk when I get back.”

After a brief consideration, he sent a message to Ryuno, just in case she tried to find him after he left.

Though he wasn’t interested in

joining a team, there was no harm in befriending her. The Onmyoji world had a lot to offer, and he wouldn’t mind exploring it again in the future.

If an SR shikigami was already this strong, the SSR ones like Ibaraki Doji would surely be even more powerful. Perhaps one day, he might be able to form a contract with one of the demon kings.

After witnessing the power of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Fang Bo became even more eager to obtain powerful summoned beasts. And if the opportunity arose, he’d definitely seek out a strong follower as well.

“Preferably one of those story characters with immense potential for growth.”

With this in mind, Fang Bo confirmed his immediate entry into the plot world.

No one noticed his departure, as most of the reincarnators were focused on the news surrounding the space war.
