- The Reincarnation World Where Only I Know the Storyline
- RWWOKS Chapter 151
Fang Bo bit down on Xianglin’s hand, checking the information he had just obtained.
**ID 11119 (Second-Generation Dragon Slayer Mage)**
**Attack Inclination: Low**
**Attribute Inclination: Strength, Spirit, Constitution**
**Trait: Dragon Heart (Legendary)**
**Threat Assessment: Evenly Matched**
“Another legendary trait, huh?”
Fang Bo focused on the man’s title and quickly understood the source of the enemy’s power.
Dragon Slayer Mages came from the *Fairy Tail* world, and if he remembered correctly, second-generation Dragon Slayers had Dragon Lacrima implanted in their bodies.
Perhaps that was the origin of the “Dragon Heart” trait.
Since there wasn’t enough information to draw a firm conclusion, Fang Bo could only deduce that this opponent was exceptionally strong.
Wiping his mouth, Fang Bo tossed Xianglin to Yaoyao for safekeeping, instructing them to stay far away from the battle.
“In the upcoming fight, I won’t be able to protect you.”
With the ghost spider swarm around, the girls’ safety was mostly assured, as long as they stayed clear of the high-ranking battles.
Everyone else didn’t matter as much, but Xianglin’s safety was non-negotiable—he couldn’t afford to lose such a valuable mobile healer.
Jugo led the charge, with Fang Bo following close behind, flanked by Jorogumo and her two Tier 3 ghost spiders, along with five Tier 1 spider soldiers.
The group advanced like a sharp blade toward the combat zone.
Faced with such a formidable force, the reincarnators from the Cloud camp wisely stepped back, retreating in a frenzy wherever they passed.
Those who couldn’t escape quickly enough threw smoke bombs or grenades, choosing to endure the blast themselves rather than risk letting the terrifying spiders get too close.
But the Tier 3 spiders were too fast, their flexibility far surpassing that of the reincarnators.
Effortlessly weaving through gunfire and poisonous clouds, one spider raised its venomous blade as it reached a gunman.
**Slaughter Spider Guard’s Poison Needle hit, causing 22+18 piercing damage.**
**The target is poisoned, suffering 2 points of damage per second for 10 seconds.**
Without medical intervention, the gunman would suffer a total of 60 points of damage.
This was the strength of a Tier 3 unit and a perfect demonstration of the effectiveness of venom tactics.
Each attack added 10 seconds of poison damage. If someone were hit seven or eight times without constitution points invested, they would likely die from poisoning.
To reincarnators without maxed-out attributes, the Slaughter Spider Guard was essentially a mini-boss—a swift, deadly threat.
The injured gunman was a prime example. He had seen the imposing group and taken precautions but had underestimated the small, seemingly insignificant spider.
He hadn’t expected it to get so close and deal such massive damage.
Swallowing an alchemical potion, the gunman’s legs began to twist in odd directions as he used a bizarre movement skill to escape the spider.
This was clearly a mobility skill, essential for any gunman, allowing them to escape danger quickly.
The spider tried to ensnare him with its webbing, but its aim was off, and it had to watch helplessly as the gunman fled.
Having just arrived, Fang Bo could only sigh in frustration, wishing he had a teammate with long-range attack abilities.
“When Jorogumo becomes a follower, her shikigami summoning will disappear.”
“At that point, I’ll need to find a new summoning beast—preferably one with ranged attacks.”
Considering the remaining follower slots, Fang Bo wondered whether he should continue selecting humanoid summons.
At least then, to outsiders, they would look like a normal reincarnator team.
“Come to think of it, what happens to beast-like creatures when they become followers?”
“I haven’t seen any examples of that.”
As Fang Bo pondered, the figure of a yellow-skinned mouse suddenly caught his eye.
“Huh?” Fang’s eyes widened as he stared at the lively Pikachu not far away.
He had heard about the existence of the *Pokémon* world but had never encountered it before. This was the first time he had seen a real Pokémon.
“Pika, Thunderbolt!”
“Pika!”
Bright golden lightning descended like divine punishment, leaving behind the kid-friendly atmosphere, as Pokémon finally showed their true destructive potential.
Without a doubt, the summoner was a reincarnator from the Cloud camp, meaning his target was naturally one of Fang Bo’s own.
As the golden thunder struck, the targeted individual collapsed to the ground, paralyzed.
Before anyone could attempt a rescue, the lightning-fast Pikachu darted forward and used its signature Iron Tail to slice the enemy’s throat.
“Third one down.” The summoner grinned, glancing mockingly at the reincarnators from his camp.
It was clear he wasn’t even using his full strength yet.
Little did he know, an assassin had already set his sights on him.
Using a shadow-hiding skill, the assassin remained invisible, undetectable unless he actively revealed himself.
By the time the enemy saw him, the poison-coated dagger would have already slit their throat.
Slowly moving through the shadows, the assassin smirked as he neared his target. “This is what happens when you show off on the battlefield.”
But just then, he noticed a strange movement in the shadows on the ground, and a small, cute creature suddenly emerged.
“Uh…” The assassin reacted quickly, immediately realizing he had been exposed.
Just as he was about to fight back, the small creature struck faster than he could.
A heavy punch hit the assassin in the gut, and the intense pain forced him out of his stealth.
**You were hit by Marshadow’s Shadow Punch, causing 64 shadow damage.**
“What the hell is this thing?!” The assassin gritted his teeth, glaring at his opponent in frustration.
He had been so close to succeeding, only to be foiled by this tiny creature.
Moving like flowing water, the assassin activated his mobility skill, planning to retreat to safety and regroup.
With no constitution points invested, that punch had already taken more than half of his health.
If he got hit again, he’d end up as a loot box for his enemies.
About two seconds later, the assassin successfully escaped the combat zone. Just as he thought he was safe, the shadow beneath his feet began to violently shake.
“Heh, come and go as you please?” The summoner stroked the Pikachu in his arms, his gaze filled with mockery. “My Marshadow doesn’t give up that easily.”
Emerging from the assassin’s shadow, Marshadow raised its lightning-imbued fist and delivered a crushing blow.
**Thunder Punch!**
The attack dealt another 60 points of damage, and before the poor guy could even counterattack, he was electrocuted to death on the spot.
“Fourth one down.” The summoner smiled, clearly enjoying the dark battlefield.
Give him a few more days, and he might wipe out the entire Sand camp’s reincarnators by himself.
And it was all thanks to his ghost-type mythical Pokémon, Marshadow.
A powerful Pokémon that could hide in shadows, possessing unimaginable strength.
“What a powerful summoner,” Fang Bo thought, having witnessed the entire exchange. An idea crossed his mind.
As a ghost/fighting-type mythical Pokémon, could Marshadow be a candidate for his **Flesh Ascension** devour ability?
**ID 14552 has triggered the Fate Mission: Flesh Ascension!**
**Mission Description: Devour more powerful beings to elevate Jorogumo’s flesh.**
**Mission Requirement: Hunt 0/9 Ghost Kings and Great Demons.**
**Special Note: This mission can be completed across multiple story worlds.**
Ghost-types could certainly be considered part of the “ghost” category, and based on Marshadow’s power, it likely ranked high enough to be considered a “Ghost King.”
The only issue now was that when a summoned creature was critically injured, the system’s forced protection mechanism would trigger, sending it back to its original world.
Figuring out how to prevent that was the real challenge.
As if sensing Fang Bo’s thoughts, Yaoyao leaned in and whispered, “If you kill the summoner, there’s a chance their summon will drop as a loot item.”
“Really?” Fang Bo’s eyes lit up.
“Yeah, but you can’t obtain it directly—you have to earn its recognition first.”
At this, Yaoyao hesitated before adding, “Usually, the bond between a summon and its master is very strong. The chances of taming it are low, and you could face a brutal backlash.”
In other words, she was warning him not to try.
Marshadow might be cute, but it didn’t look like something that could be tamed easily. Fang Bo might end up with nothing but trouble—and a fight with the powerful Pokémon.
Yaoyao’s advice was valid, but what she didn’t know was that Fang Bo had no intention of taming it in the first place.
He planned to use the “taming” mechanism to break the system’s protection, allowing Jorogumo to devour Marshadow’s flesh.
Hunting nine Ghost Kings would be an incredibly difficult task, so Fang Bo wasn’t going to let any opportunity slip away.
Up until now, Fang Bo had already gained plenty from the battle.
Not to mention, he had also completed a battlefield mission.
**War Mission 1: Kill 10/7 hostile reincarnators (Completed)**
**You received 10 points.**
**You received 1,000 plot points.**
Including the 10 points from this, he now had 43 battlefield points—enough that he didn’t need to keep chasing them so frantically.
With the upcoming battles sure to bring in more points, Fang Bo figured it was time to focus on other things.
Like hunting Marshadow—or checking out what Orochimaru was up to.
Maybe he could even find that sexy fishnet-wearing exam proctor.
“It’s decided. I’ll take down that summoner first.” After a brief moment of hesitation, Fang Bo made up his mind.
This task would be difficult, but considering the potential rewards, it was worth taking a risk.
With so many reincarnators fighting nearby, and the summoner’s companions close by as well, he would need to use all his power.
“Follow me and be careful,” he said, glancing at the weaker members of his group.
Xianglin looked understandably nervous but agreed to join the fight.
As for Yaoyao, emboldened by her newfound allies, she lifted her massive warhammer with determination, vowing to avenge her comrades: “Don’t worry, I’ll help you kill a few more!”
“…” Fang Bo ignored her, turning instead to the chaotic battlefield surrounding them.
“To kill the summoner, I need to create the right opportunity to get close.”
“The ghost spiders can block some damage, but they won’t hold out for long. I can’t let myself become a target for focus fire.”
Although the swarm strategy was powerful, it wasn’t enough to handle so many reincarnators at once.
If he acted too rashly and they all turned their focus on him, he’d be torn apart in seconds.
The key to breaking through was diverting the enemy’s attention.
If he could slip into the center of the battle before they focused on him, he’d have a better chance—once surrounded by other fighters, the focus fire wouldn’t be an issue anymore.
After thinking it through, Fang Bo reached into his pouch and pulled out a terrifying doll with its mouth wide open.
“It’s all up to you now.”
**Screaming Doll**: Forces everyone within range to make a mental saving throw. Those who fail will be terrified for 10 seconds.
