OKSTS Chapter 85

**Chapter 85: Does Fang Ye Really Not Dare to Tower Dive?**

Just as Fang Ye was preparing to press on and secure the match, chaos erupted among the East Art Academy team.

“What happened to you three?” one of their team members couldn’t hold back on the comms. “The game has barely started, and you’ve already given the other side a triple kill?”

Liu Zhengqi, who had just respawned, spoke up, “Damn it, don’t blame me! How was I supposed to know that some nobody school would have such a powerful freshman!” Li Mingliang, another fallen teammate, chimed in, “Exactly, that guy’s fire ability is just too strong! With him in this match, we’re in big trouble!”

“No matter how big the trouble, we need to get through it. If we’re eliminated in the first round, how can we face anyone? The instructor won’t let us off either…”

“True, but this really isn’t looking good!”

“We need to adjust our strategy…”

“Agreed! Since that guy’s so strong, we shouldn’t push the middle lane. Let’s shift our attack to the top or bottom lanes.”

Han Li, who had just respawned, asked, “Then what do I do?”

Captain Liu Zhengqi responded, “Xiaoli, we’re counting on you to hold the middle lane. Don’t confront him directly; just stay under the tower and stall for time as much as possible!”

“Easy for you to say!” Han Li protested. “That guy can kill me in one hit! How am I supposed to hold him off?”

“Just stall, even if it means giving up the first two towers. As long as we keep the high ground tower, we’re good.”

“No way!” Han Li adamantly refused, “It hurt like hell when I died just now! I want to switch lanes. If anyone wants to hold him, do it yourself—I don’t want to die again!”

At that moment,

all of East Art Academy’s team members received a notification that their middle lane tower was under attack, catching them off guard.

“Oh no! That guy’s attacking the middle tower!”

“Stop messing around and get over there! Don’t let him take down the tower!”

“Xiaoli, please! Just hold him off this time, and after the match, I’ll buy you a designer bag! How about that?”

“…Fine, Captain. Just remember you promised!” They finally convinced Han Li to stay in the middle lane.

Meanwhile, the defenders on the bottom lane shouted, “This is bad! Their main force is attacking bottom lane. There are three of them… Damn, that girl’s archery is incredible and hits so hard… Need support—I can’t hold them much longer!”

At that moment,

Fang Ye was attacking the middle energy tower.

After he had cleared out the opposing minions, his own minions advanced to the tower, which switched from defense mode to attack mode.

The tower’s attack power was indeed high.

A standard minion could only last about five seconds before being destroyed.

Fang Ye tried using his “Fire Fist” and found that a single punch could knock off about one-seventh of the tower’s health (its health bar was visible).

He needed seven punches to take down the tower.

Given his current mental attribute, each “Fire Fist” punch was incredibly powerful, comparable to a small-scale missile!

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have been able to instantly kill his opponents earlier.

The tower’s defense was already impressive to withstand his blows.

As two of his minions fell, Fang Ye paused his assault on the tower.

At this point,

the enemy’s first middle tower was down to less than half its health.

Soon enough,

the second wave of minions arrived and met in the middle lane.

Fang Ye moved forward to clear the minion wave.

With his high flame damage, he could practically take out a minion with each attack.

Then Fang Ye noticed a girl peeking out from behind the enemy tower, attempting to clear the wave, though she seemed hesitant to leave the safety of the tower.

This girl was, of course, the same one who had given him first blood.

Fang Ye chuckled, seeing her hiding behind the tower, and ignored her.

Quickly,

he finished off the three enemy minions.

With no opposition, his minions marched toward the tower.

Fang Ye followed closely behind, and as soon as the tower began attacking his minions, he resumed his assault.

At this moment,

Fang Ye himself was standing within the tower’s attack range.

This was a rule in the Valley of Kings…

To attack the tower, one must stand within its range.

Seeing Fang Ye attacking the tower, Han Li couldn’t hold back any longer.

If she didn’t step in, the first tower would soon be destroyed…

With that thought, Han Li charged forward.

But her target wasn’t Fang Ye.

Instead, she aimed at his minions.

Han Li knew that the minions were the key; without them, Fang Ye couldn’t damage the tower!

Watching her hack away at the minions, Fang Ye smiled faintly.

Did she really think he wouldn’t dare to kill her under the tower?

He had already tested what it felt like to be hit by the tower.

Indeed,

its damage was high.

But breaking through his defense wasn’t that easy.

In other words, the tower wasn’t much of a threat to Fang Ye.

He could easily dive under the tower to kill her, then walk away unscathed…

“Fwoosh!”

A massive fireball launched from Fang Ye’s fist, hurtling directly toward Han Li as she was clearing the minions.

“Ahh!!”

Han Li only managed a scream before she was blasted into pieces.

The tower immediately retaliated with an attack on Fang Ye.

He took the tower’s hit head-on and then quickly jumped out of its range.

Though he wasn’t truly afraid of the tower’s attacks,

he decided to play it safe.

After all, the match was being broadcast live.

If he stood under the tower and kept getting hit without dying, people might start questioning his resilience.

With flame abilities this powerful,

if he also had extraordinary endurance, it would certainly raise suspicions.

Only two trips to the restricted area wouldn’t be enough to grant him that many attributes.

“Contestant ‘Fang Ye’ has slain contestant ‘Han Li’…”

The announcement echoed through the Valley of Kings once again.

Fang Ye’s kill count had now reached four!

If he managed to get three more kills, he’d achieve the tournament’s basic “Godlike” achievement.
