- The Reincarnation World Where Only I Know the Storyline
- RWWOKS Chapter 193
Despite her altered attire, Fang Bo immediately recognized the newcomer.
The girl with violet eyes was none other than Shinobu Kocho, the Insect Hashira from the storyline world of Demon Slayer.
“It’s been a while, hasn’t it?”
She casually found a seat, her radiant smile laced with hidden depths. “As the Tenth Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, your sudden disappearance left everyone heartbroken, you know.”
Fang Bo felt a little at a loss for words—or more accurately, he didn’t know how to address the girl sitting before him.
The fact that she had entered the Reincarnation Space meant she had acquired the status of a reincarnator and was likely privy to many truths.
For instance, that he had never truly been a savior but rather a reincarnator who had leveraged the Demon Slayer Corps for his own benefit.
Although he didn’t feel guilty, he couldn’t quite shake a sense of unease.
After some thought, he decided to dodge her statement entirely. “Why are you here?”
“Oh my, how abrupt,” Shinobu said, gracefully tucking her hair behind her ear. Now a reincarnator, she exuded an even greater allure, but Fang Bo remained utterly unmoved.
Seeing his unyielding demeanor, Shinobu sighed and relented. “After Muzan’s defeat, we’ve been tirelessly searching for Tanjiro’s whereabouts. Eventually, we learned he had already arrived in this mysterious space. At the same time, the surviving members of the Demon Slayer Corps all received invitations to join the space.”
Her explanation hinted that more than one or two of them had become reincarnators.
“Apart from a few children who vanished without a trace, nearly all of us joined the Reincarnation Space.”
This included:
Giyu Tomioka, the Water Hashira
Sanemi Shinazugawa, the Wind Hashira
Muichiro Tokito, the Mist Hashira
Shinobu Kocho, the Insect Hashira
Kyojuro Rengoku, the Flame Hashira
The five had reformed the Demon Slayer Corps within the space and had recently completed their first storyline mission.
Shinobu’s tone rose slightly as she continued. “We went to a place called the Shin’o Academy.”
“I learned so many fascinating things there and made many new friends.”
The Shin’o Academy?
Fang Bo immediately recognized it as part of the Bleach universe.
Noting the glimmer in her violet eyes, he hesitated briefly before asking, “I’m curious—why did you accept the space’s invitation?”
Being labeled an invitation implied it wasn’t mandatory.
With Muzan defeated, the Demon Slayer Corps members could have taken a well-deserved rest instead of entering a space that would once again force them to dance on the edge of death.
Shinobu fell silent for a moment before explaining softly, “The more you know, the more fear you feel.”
“Even if we refused, would we truly be safe?”
Though her words were convincing, Fang Bo felt she wasn’t sharing the whole truth.
After completing a world’s storyline mission, it became the property of the Reincarnation Space. Yet, from his observations, the space couldn’t forcibly conscript individuals—it could only lure them like a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
It was easy to imagine the space offering special rewards to entice powerful characters.
After all, motivation drives performance.
Instead of pressing further, Fang Bo redirected the conversation to their experiences in the Bleach world.
“The main mission was straightforward: pass a series of tests and graduate from the Shin’o Academy,” Shinobu explained, slowly drawing her Nichirin Blade.
No—it wasn’t just a Nichirin Blade anymore. Fang Bo could feel a distinct spiritual resonance emanating from it.
It was now a Zanpakuto!
With a hint of pride, Shinobu displayed the weapon’s information to him.
Name: Zanpakuto (Asauchi)
Grade: Growth-Type Weapon
Category: One-Handed Weapon
Attack: 15–17
Durability: 120/120
Attribute Boosts: Strength +2, Agility +2
Requirements: Strength 14, Perception 10, Spirit 8
Effects: Shikai (Unreleased), Bankai (Unreleased)
Origin: Bleach
Evaluation: A highly potential-filled weapon. Call out its true name to unleash its powers.
It was Fang Bo’s first time seeing a growth-type weapon, and he couldn’t help but examine it closely.
While impressive, such weapons required time to reach their potential, and unlocking a Zanpakuto’s true name relied on an element of luck.
Shinobu’s focused approach was commendable, but for survivability, it was wiser to diversify skillsets—perhaps by continuing to develop her expertise in poisons.
“Impressive, isn’t it?”
Stowing her Zanpakuto, Shinobu’s gaze turned resolute. “Just wait—I’ll find a way to revive my sister.”
Before Fang Bo could respond, she stood and made her way to the door.
“I only dropped by to say hello. Feel free to visit us anytime, and don’t hesitate to ask for help if you’re in trouble.”
Shinobu had come at Rengoku’s request to invite the “Spider Hashira” to join their ranks.
But upon seeing Fang Bo, she seemed to realize something and chose not to extend the offer.
Regardless, the Demon Slayer Corps owed Fang Bo a great debt for helping them overcome their greatest challenge, and they wouldn’t forget that.
As she said, if he ever needed help, they wouldn’t stand idly by.
With a playful smile, she turned back to him and added, “Oh, one more thing. Did you know? Muichiro Tokito graduated from the Shin’o Academy in just twenty-two days.”
“Apparently, he broke a record set by some white-haired Shinigami.”
White-haired Shinigami?
Fang Bo immediately thought of Toshiro Hitsugaya.
Before he could ask more, Shinobu disappeared as quickly as she had come.
Left alone, Fang Bo’s mind churned.
The Shin’o Academy, also known as the Spiritual Arts Academy, was a training ground for Shinigami founded a thousand years ago by Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni.
Like Konoha’s ninja academy, it had a six-year curriculum, though exceptional students could graduate early.
Twenty-two days, however, was simply absurd.
That was akin to a child learning basic ninja skills and becoming a Genin in less than a month.
Muichiro Tokito’s progress in a single day surpassed what most Shinigami-in-training could achieve in three years.
Even with his already considerable strength, such talent was nothing short of extraordinary.
Learning about Tokito’s feats, Fang Bo began to understand the space’s logic.
While power levels varied greatly between storyline worlds, that didn’t mean characters from lower-powered worlds weren’t exceptional.
Given the opportunity, such individuals could grow at breakneck speeds—like Tokito, who had likely already unlocked his Zanpakuto’s true name.
With just a few more storyline worlds, prodigies like him could soar to unimaginable heights.
“I wonder how many more like him are out there,” Fang Bo mused.
The Reincarnation Space wasn’t unique—there were countless similar spaces, each brimming with reincarnators evolving through endless struggles.
It wouldn’t be surprising if monsters of unfathomable power emerged from such environments.
Still, Fang Bo remained confident in his own unique potential.
Even those with mythic-level talents couldn’t surpass his growth rate.
Opening his status panel, Fang Bo checked his rank and commendation points.
Rank: Warrant Officer
Commendation Points: 206
“I’ll save 100 points for consumables. The rest can go toward upgrades.”
Beyond recruiting followers, Merit Points had numerous other uses.
For many reincarnators, simply being able to buy potions that restored mental energy was temptation enough.
If not for his S-rank Yin Seal as a fallback, Fang Bo might have already bought a few to keep in reserve.
His plan to carefully ration resources, however, was soon disrupted by a familiar truth: plans rarely keep up with change.
“Promote to Second Lieutenant!”
[25 Merit Points consumed. You have successfully been promoted to Second Lieutenant.]
[You can now choose from three different storyline worlds.]
This meant that if Fang Bo chose to proceed with a normal task, he’d have three worlds to pick from.
“Not bad. At least I have some options now.”
After a quick look at the benefits, he decided to continue climbing the ranks.
[30 Merit Points consumed. You have successfully been promoted to First Lieutenant.]
[You can preview storyline world information one day earlier.]
“Better than nothing, I suppose.”
[35 Merit Points consumed. You have successfully been promoted to Captain.]
[You have unlocked the ability to negate mission penalties.]
This was an interesting perk: in the event of a failed main mission, Captains could use Merit Points to offset penalties.
Useful, but still not the privilege Fang Bo had been eagerly anticipating.
Eyeing his remaining Merit Points, he gritted his teeth and pressed on.
[40 Merit Points consumed. You have successfully been promoted to Major.]
[You have unlocked the Title Upgrade privilege.]
Rank: Major
Merit Points: 76
With just over 70 Merit Points left, Fang Bo decided against upgrading further to Lieutenant Colonel.
It was wise to keep some reserves—what if he came across a promising recruit?
Opening his Title List, Fang Bo noted that after unlocking the Title Upgrade privilege, each of his titles now displayed a level.
The only exception was the unique title “Death’s Puppeteer,” which, being one-of-a-kind, could not be leveled up.
Other titles, both active and passive, were now eligible for upgrades.
Current Titles:
Big Guy Slayer LV1: Deals an additional 5% damage to creatures over 3 meters tall.
Giant Killer LV1: Deals an additional 15% damage to giants (world-specific).
Pirate Captain LV1: Improves plundering efficiency and significantly boosts Pirate faction reputation.
Enemy of the Navy LV1: Increases damage to Navy members; starting faction favor is “Cold.”
Demon Slayer LV1: Deals an additional 10% damage to demonic entities.
Spider Pillar LV1 (Rare Title): Increases damage to demonic entities by 20%; summons gain 10% of the summoner’s max HP as a bonus.
Gold Standard Hitman LV1: Boosts Demon Slayer Corps reputation gain and reduces initial item prices.
Demon Moon Terminator LV1 (Rare Title): As the Ender of the Demon Moons, no demon escapes your judgment. +30% damage to demonic entities; +20% critical hit rate.
Chunin LV1: Strength +1, Agility +1; reputation accumulation speed increased by 20%.
Modest Wealth LV1 (Passive Title): Your small fortune attracts both goodwill and hostility.
Fire Release Must Die LV1: +3% damage to Fire Release users; reduces fire damage taken by 5%.
Titles of varying rarity required different amounts of experience to level up.
For Fang Bo, aside from the rare titles, most of the others could serve as upgrade fodder.
When it came to prioritizing upgrades, titles that boosted attributes naturally took precedence unless he was facing demons or similar entities.
[Do you want to consume “Enemy of the Navy,” “Big Guy Slayer,” and “Giant Killer” for an upgrade?]
“Confirm!”
Post-upgrade, the Chunin title saw a notable improvement:
Chunin LV2: Strength +2, Agility +2; reputation accumulation speed increased by 25%.
For the first time, Fang Bo truly understood why so many reincarnators were obsessed with achievement tasks.
“This system is ridiculously rewarding.”
Without hesitation, Fang Bo initiated a second round of upgrades.
For entry-level titles, advancing to LV3 typically required four fodder titles, but with advanced titles in his inventory, the process became significantly easier.
Advanced titles counted as double the value of standard ones, simplifying the upgrade process considerably.
With each upgrade, his titles became increasingly potent, further enhancing his combat capabilities.
Finally, Fang Bo modified the Absorb effect from Heal so that it now permanently added skill experience.
“Now this is truly overpowered.”
