**Chapter 113: Tono: Is This Really My Brother? You Must Be Joking!**

“Food!”

“So much food!”

“Hurry, capture them!”

Excited, the Goatmen began shouting in their guttural tones, their eyes instantly turning red. Especially those Goatmen born through dark rituals—they lost all sense of reason and surged wildly towards the knights.

As the frenzied Goatmen charged, the rest followed eagerly, trailing behind the ritual-borne Goatmen and rushing toward the knightly ranks.

“Attack!” Tono shouted, leading his knights into the horde of Goatmen.

A massive surge of life force stirred within him as a gigantic sword slash cut through the air.

“Boom!” With a thunderous noise, several Goatmen in front were instantly sliced apart. Bright red blood sprayed out, and the sky seemed to echo with the clash of steel and flesh.

The three knight formations drove forward like torrents. Tono was at the center, with Thor and Babrus flanking him on the left and right.

Initially, Tono spearheaded the charge, his knights slicing through the Goatmen like a scythe through grass. Any Goatmen in their path were either thrown aside or dismembered.

But it wasn’t long before a peak tier-two Goatman appeared, blocking Tono’s advance. Several other tier-two and elite Goatmen intercepted the knights at his side, halting their charge.

To his right, Babrus encountered a similar situation. He was also confronted by a peak tier-two Goatman, and elite Goatmen obstructed his knights. His forces were momentarily pushed back due to Babrus’s slightly lower strength.

On the left, Thor faced resistance from a tier-two Goatman and a group of elite Goatmen. But it only delayed him for a brief moment.

“Boom!” With an immense impact, the tier-two Goatman was hurled into the distance, convulsing on the ground. Thor’s swift advance was halted momentarily, and, in that instant, a peak tier-two Goatman leaped at him, brandishing a bone club aimed at Thor’s head.

A surge of blood-red energy flared, its owner’s eyes burning with madness and bloodlust. However, Thor had anticipated the attack. His life force exploded, and wind elements from Nia spread around them, casting a chilling aura over the area.

“Boom!” The two forces collided, creating a terrifying shockwave. For a split second, Thor and the Goatman appeared locked in a stalemate.

But then, ice swiftly crept along the bone club, spreading up the Goatman’s arm. Its blood-red eyes widened as its body shivered involuntarily.

“Crack!” The sound of breaking resonated as the bone club shattered. The Goatman’s pupils dilated as it saw its own lower body moving away. Its vision blurred as consciousness faded.

“Thud!” Its head was knocked away by the force from Nia, crashing into the distance. The body remained upright, with no blood spurting from its neatly severed neck—only frost spreading across the wound. Upon closer inspection, one could see the severed neck was frozen solid.

A peak tier-two Goatman, defeated by Thor in a single strike, left others awestruck. While Nia’s wind attribute aided him, it was still an astonishing feat. Such a Goatman would typically require a seasoned great knight to subdue, yet Thor had managed to dispatch it effortlessly.

With the three knight formations now fully engaged, the battlefield became a chaotic melee.

“Boom!”

“Boom!”

Thunderous noises echoed as blood spilled, clashes rang out, and horses neighed. Life forces flared everywhere.

Tor glanced around and saw Tono and Babrus’s forces nearly engulfed by the horde. Although they had brought considerable strength, the Goatmen were overwhelming in numbers. Worse, with dark rituals fueling their madness, the creatures were relentless, charging forward despite their mounting casualties.

At this rate, even if they could defeat the Goatmen tribe, the losses would be severe.

Tor frowned slightly, his eyes narrowing.

“Raine, Steve!”

“Hold nothing back!”

“Charge with all your might!”

At Tor’s command, his life force surged powerfully, and Nia’s wind element intensified.

“Understood!”

“Yes!”

Raine and Steve responded, their own life forces surging forth. Raine was especially formidable, his body sparking with thunder. In a flash, he decapitated a tier-two Goatman, while Steve overpowered his opponent.

With a sharp pull on the reins, Thor picked up speed, smashing through the elite Goatmen in front like a giant earth dragon. The impact shattered their bodies, sending them flying.

Two more tier-two Goatmen tried to stop him. One was immediately skewered by a knight’s lance, while Nia flung the other away.

“Boom!”

“Boom!”

The explosive sounds reverberated, and on the left flank, Thor broke through the Goatmen ranks, leaving a trail of destruction. With Raine, Steve, and their knights at his side, Thor turned and dove back into the Goatmen.

The slaughter resumed, with Thor cutting through Goatmen with ease, and Raine matching his ferocity. Without their elite forces to stall him, Thor’s knights massacred the Goatmen, leaving the ground soaked in blood.

Even when tier-two Goatmen attempted to intervene, they were easily dispatched. Raine could slay a tier-two, and Thor could do so with ease.

The left flank of Goatmen diminished visibly, even affecting the central and right flanks. In an effort to stop Thor and replace their fallen comrades, more Goatmen converged on him, including tier-two and elite warriors.

With their numbers diverted, Tono felt the pressure lighten considerably. He had been fighting a peak tier-two Goatman, with two more tier-two foes. Though he had two great knights and fifty full knights, they were tied up by elite Goatmen, unable to assist him.

Seeing his brother’s ease in dispatching the Goatmen, Tono couldn’t help but think, *Is this really my brother? You must be joking!*

For Tono, handling a single peak tier-two Goatman was already a challenge, let alone two additional regular tier-two Goatmen. He was quickly overwhelmed.

If not for his golden armor, he would have suffered significant injuries by now. Even with this protection, Tono and his knights found themselves bogged down in a grueling struggle.

As time dragged on, even if they could eventually break through, the losses would be more than he could bear. Worse still, Thor’s forces had also faced multiple attacks, and Tono was anxious to reach his brother’s side quickly.

As he was growing desperate, his surroundings suddenly cleared. The three Goatmen that had been pressing him back retreated after a brief exchange among themselves, leaving only one behind. Meanwhile, the elite Goatmen fighting his knights had significantly thinned out, and the crushing pressure eased up.

Tono’s initial shock quickly turned to relief, and he couldn’t help but smile. Regardless of the reason, this was undoubtedly good news for him.

Without hesitation, he bit his lip and channeled his secret technique. A crimson aura began to emanate from his body, merging with his life force. With the blood-infused power coursing through him, his strength surged.

“Boom!” The peak tier-two Goatman ahead of him barely had time to react before feeling an overwhelming force collide with its bone club.

“Crack!” A sharp snapping sound filled the air as the Goatman’s weapon shattered. Tono’s sword continued on its trajectory, slicing toward the creature’s neck.

A flash of fear appeared in the Goatman’s frenzied eyes as it instinctively tried to dodge.

“Splat!” Blood spurted as the knight’s sword embedded itself deep into its flesh, striking bone. The Goatman’s eyes grew even bloodier with pain, but Tono gave it no chance to retaliate.

“Thud!” He drove his foot forward, channeling his life force into a powerful kick. The Goatman was sent flying like a cannonball, taking several other Goatmen with it.

Without missing a beat, Tono raised his sword and plunged back into the fray. With many Goatmen gone, the fight had become much easier. He soon broke through the enemy ranks.

Just as he was about to rush to his brother’s aid, Tono froze at the sight before him.

In the distance, two figures stood out amidst the mass of Goatmen, one emanating frost and the other surrounded by lightning. They were tearing through the Goatmen like a whirlwind, leaving dismembered bodies in their wake.

Tono’s jaw dropped as he stared in disbelief at the familiar figure.

“My lord!” the knight captain beside him panted, looking at Tono with confusion.

“Ferrin, tell me, is that really my brother?” Tono murmured, gesturing toward the figure in the distance.

“My lord, what’s going on?” the knight captain asked, following Tono’s gaze. When he saw the scene, he too was stunned, his mouth falling open as he rubbed his eyes.

“My lord, that… that…” he stammered, his voice trembling. Even as a seasoned knight, he was visibly shaken by what he saw.

Tono finally snapped back to reality, taking a deep breath and looking intently at the battlefield. With a final exhale, he composed himself.

“It seems I underestimated my brother,” he murmured. “Let’s continue!”

With a shout, he led his knights back into the fight, using all his strength. The sight of Thor’s prowess not only reassured him but also filled him with excitement.

He was no longer concerned solely with conquering the territory. Seeing his brother’s strength—first shocking and unbelievable—had left him nothing but exhilarated once he accepted it.

“Boom.”

“Boom!”

The thunderous clashes echoed across the battlefield. With more Goatmen drawn to Thor, the central area quickly turned into a slaughter.

The intensity of the fight in the middle and left had a ripple effect on the right side, where Babrus was battling. He, too, felt the pressure lessen, breathing a sigh of relief as a smile spread across his face.

Energized, Babrus swung his axe, unleashing a powerful surge of life force that sent a tier-two Goatman flying, its blood spraying as its aura weakened.
