**Chapter 88: Illustration of the Flood (Water Engulfs the Seven Armies)**

The protagonists lay in ambush atop two hills downstream in the Maine River Valley. The dam had been storing water for some time, and with it being the flood season, the stage was perfectly set. The magic crystal cannons ignited the wildfire oil, trapping the 4,000 ordinary minotaurs in place. Meanwhile, eleven second-tier minotaurs charged forward to engage the forces.

At the crucial moment, Rachos Assad opened the dam, releasing a massive flood that swept away the 4,000 minotaurs. The remaining eleven second-tier minotaurs were left to be encircled and slain on the hills by the eight grand knights, over seventy full knights, 300 trainee knights, and over a thousand reserve knights from the Maine River Valley.

As for why the flood didn’t affect the main forces of the protagonists, the answer is simple: they were positioned on higher ground!
