Magneto was surprised when Chen Ye agreed so easily.
“Aren’t you afraid there might be a trap waiting for you?” Magneto asked.
Chen Ye responded calmly, “You can gather all your forces and see if you can kill me.”
Magneto looked deeply at Chen Ye. “Young man, arrogance is not a virtue.”
“I’ve always been arrogant,” Chen Ye shrugged indifferently.
Was he arrogant? Perhaps. But with his current power, he had every reason to be.
“Let’s go,” Magneto said, waving his hand. The iron pellets melted together, forming a metal shackle around Rogue, and Magneto took off, flying with Rogue in tow.
Chen Ye, using his telekinesis, followed effortlessly behind them. The three of them left the hotel, soaring through the sky…

On a medical bed, Wolverine slowly opened his eyes.
His first sensation was a throbbing headache, as if his brain was about to explode.
The intense pain made him groan.
Although Wolverine had powerful healing abilities, the damage Chen Ye had inflicted on him was severe.
If not for his Adamantium skeleton, that punch from Chen Ye could have crushed his skull.
“You’re awake?”
Jean Grey, who had been busy tending to patients, noticed Wolverine stirring and asked with concern, “How do you feel? Is there anywhere that still hurts?”
Jean had trained in medicine and was practically the school’s resident doctor, treating the students whenever they got sick or injured.
“Jean…” Wolverine muttered, still a bit dazed. But as he recalled the events from earlier that day, his expression grew anxious. “What happened to Anna?”
Jean’s face darkened. “She was taken. We couldn’t stop that man…”
Hearing this, Wolverine’s expression twisted with anger.
“Damn it!” he cursed. “Where is that bastard? I’ll kill him!”
“Logan, calm down!” Jean urged. “We’ll rescue Anna, but we need a plan!”
Wolverine was breathing heavily, his face full of rage.
Jean continued, “You woke up just in time. The Professor wants to see you.”
When Wolverine and Jean arrived at Professor X’s office, they found the other X-Men members already gathered.
Professor X, looking serious, began once everyone had assembled. “That man… he’s joined forces with Magneto.”
The group was stunned.
Magneto, their long-time enemy, was a powerful mutant. The thought of him joining forces with the mysterious man who had attacked the school meant a dangerous alliance.
Everyone realized just how grave the situation had become.
“What’s their plan?” Cyclops asked.
“We don’t know yet,” Professor X replied gravely, “but it can’t be anything good.”

In an underground hideout.
“This is your base?” Chen Ye asked, glancing around. “Looks like a rat’s nest.”
Magneto’s face tightened in discomfort at the insult.
Standing beside Magneto was a hulking figure, who, upon hearing Chen Ye’s insult, roared angrily and charged at him.
It was Sabretooth!
Sabretooth was Wolverine’s brother. Both shared powerful healing abilities, though in this version of events, Sabretooth was portrayed as less intelligent, more of a brute with diminished healing powers. In the original story, he eventually met a ridiculous death.
Offended by Chen Ye’s remark, Sabretooth lunged at him, ready to attack.
His fingers extended into long, sharp claws, like a tiger’s.
As the claws slashed toward Chen Ye’s throat, Chen Ye remained unfazed, clenching his fist. A faint white aura surrounded it.
Then!
With one punch, Chen Ye unleashed his explosive power.
The punch struck Sabretooth, activating the ability of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit.
“Crack!”
The air itself shattered, creating cracks in space.
And Sabretooth?
He exploded on the spot…
Literally exploded!
His body turned into a pile of flesh, scattering everywhere—even splattering onto Magneto’s clothes.
With one punch, Chen Ye had reduced a powerful mutant into a heap of blood and gore!
The horrific scene immediately terrified Toad and Mystique, who both turned pale with fear.
“Oh my God…” Mystique shrieked, retreating in panic, unwilling to get any closer to Chen Ye.
Even Magneto was startled, his face pale as he looked at the blood and flesh that had splattered onto his clothing.
It was terrifying.
“You have killed a mutant. Current task progress: 1/1!”
Hearing the system notification, Chen Ye remained calm.
With Sabretooth so thoroughly destroyed, even Wolverine’s healing abilities wouldn’t be able to bring him back from this…
There was nothing left to regenerate from.
“Sorry, Magneto,” Chen Ye said casually. “He jumped at me suddenly, and I didn’t hold back… this is what happened.”
He then added, “But you’d better control your subordinates, and make sure they don’t attack me.”
Magneto’s face was grim.
While Sabretooth may have been dim-witted, he was still a strong ally, one of Magneto’s trusted aides.
But now, Sabretooth was dead, just like that, killed by Chen Ye.
And Chen Ye’s explanation? It was hardly convincing…
But Magneto knew better.
He had to be patient… for the sake of the larger plan.
“That’s your room,” Magneto said, pointing to a clean room with clear irritation in his voice. “I’ll notify you when the plan is set to begin.”
Clearly, after losing a key subordinate, Magneto had no interest in conversing any further with Chen Ye.

Six days passed in the blink of an eye.
Today.
The day of the summit had arrived.
This summit was significant, with many high-ranking officials from the United States attending, along with leaders from various allied nations.
The leaders of countries like the United Kingdom, Japan, and South Korea were all present!
The summit was being held on Liberty Island in New York Harbor.
This was also the location of the famous Statue of Liberty.
