GROIKTP Chapter 417

This entry is part 337 of 534 in the series Global Reincarnation: Only i Know the Plot

Passing through a turbulent underwater portal, Chen Ye finally arrived at the Hidden Sea!

This place was like a paradise untouched by time.

It was hard to believe that such a beautiful landscape existed deep beneath the ocean.

Mountains, waterfalls, lush green trees—it was a breathtaking sight.

As Chen Ye stepped onto the beach, he even spotted pterosaurs from ancient times flying overhead…

And high in the sky, sunlight streamed in.

“This is supposed to be an underground world, so how is there sunlight?”

Chen Ye was intrigued by the mystery.

As he surveyed the surroundings, a pair of eyes watched him from the bushes in the distance.

The hidden figure was cautious, even slowing their breathing.

Having crouched for too long, their leg cramped slightly, causing them to shift position.

The ground was covered in dry leaves, and the movement produced a barely audible rustling sound.

But that small noise did not escape Chen Ye’s heightened senses.

With his current capabilities, nothing within a hundred meters could slip past him.

In the next moment, Chen Ye turned his head, looking directly at the hidden figure.

“Are you going to come out on your own, or do I need to drag you out?”

The hidden figure was shocked.

Had they already been discovered? How powerful was this person?

Since hiding was pointless now, the figure stepped out from behind the foliage.

It was a human!

Though they were wearing various fish scales as armor and a menacing animal skull as a helmet, Chen Ye could tell that the person was human, and even discerned their gender.

The figure had distinct feminine features…

Chen Ye immediately recognized who it was.

“Hello, Atlanna!”

The figure was taken aback.

This black-haired, black-eyed young man had called her by name…

“Who are you?” Atlanna asked.

“Me?”

Chen Ye replied calmly, “I am the God of the Sea, and I’ve come to reclaim the weapon that belongs to me.”

As he spoke, he unleashed a subtle but potent wave of Conqueror’s Haki, exuding an aura of authority.

Atlanna couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe toward Chen Ye.

However, she remained cautious. “The God of the Sea?”

Hearing her doubt, Chen Ye raised his trident and gave it a casual swing…

Suddenly.

The nearby ocean began to roar and churn violently.

Moments later, a massive tidal wave formed, surging toward the shore.

Atlanna was startled.

Even though she was of the sea, she had no power against a tsunami of this magnitude. If it hit, whether she lived or died would be left entirely to chance.

The animals along the shore, frightened by the sight of the approaching wave, fled in terror.

Just as the tsunami was about to crash onto the land, Chen Ye snapped his fingers.

Instantly!

The tsunami froze in place, towering above the water like a giant building.

Then, a stream of water separated from the wave and flowed beneath Chen Ye, lifting him high into the air.

Looking down at Atlanna, Chen Ye said calmly, “Now, do you still doubt my identity?”

Seeing such control over the sea, Atlanna no longer dared to question his claim.

Without hesitation, she knelt before Chen Ye, offering her submission.

“Greetings, Lord Sea God. Atlanna is at your service.”

In truth, she still harbored some doubts.

The records in Atlantis depicted the Sea God quite differently from the young man standing before her.

However, Atlanna was no fool. After seeing Chen Ye demonstrate his control over the sea, she knew she was no match for him.

To defy him would be to risk her life.

Thus, her submission was more out of self-preservation than genuine loyalty.

Otherwise, if she truly believed she was in the presence of the Sea God, she would have been far more excited…

With a loud crash, Chen Ye dispelled the tsunami.

The immense volume of water fell back into the ocean with a thunderous roar.

Then, Chen Ye approached Atlanna.

“Rise.”

Atlanna stood as instructed.

“You can reveal your true form now,” Chen Ye added.

Atlanna removed her fishbone armor, revealing her true appearance.

Her features were dignified, her skin pale. Despite her age, she still retained much of her beauty.

However, Chen Ye had no interest in older women, nor did he care about being Arthur’s “stepfather.”

“Atlanna, I know everything about you. Once I retrieve my weapon, I will take you from this place. You’ll be reunited with Tom Curry and your son, Arthur.”

(Tom Curry, Arthur’s father, is a simple lighthouse keeper.)

Upon hearing this, the usually cautious Atlanna was overcome with emotion.

She had been trapped here for twenty years, surviving with the hope of reuniting with her family one day.

Her husband and son were the reason she endured!

“Is it true, Lord Sea God?”

Atlanna couldn’t help but ask, her voice trembling.

Chen Ye smiled and nodded. “Of course!”

In truth.

Chen Ye already knew where the trident was, thanks to his knowledge of the storyline. He didn’t really need to engage in such theatrics with Atlanna.

But his quick-thinking led him to this performance.

He believed that Atlanna’s status as the former Queen of Atlantis might be useful in helping him control all seven undersea kingdoms!

“Thank you, Lord Sea God!”

Atlanna knelt again, her expression a mix of excitement and joy.

But mostly, it was filled with anticipation…

Anticipation of seeing her family once again.

That had been her greatest hope for the past two decades.

“Stand up, Atlanna… I can sense my weapon is behind that waterfall. Wait for me here.”

With that, Chen Ye walked toward the waterfall.

Atlanna quickly called out, “Lord Sea God, the trident is guarded by the monstrous Karathen. It’s incredibly dangerous…”

After her warning, Atlanna suddenly remembered that the person before her was the “Sea God”!

Karathen, while a formidable creature to ordinary people, was no match for a god.

If this person was eaten by Karathen…

It would only prove that he was a fraud!
