GROIKTP Chapter 418

This entry is part 338 of 534 in the series Global Reincarnation: Only i Know the Plot

Atlanna.

She was once the Queen of Atlantis!

In an effort to escape a forced political marriage, she fled to the surface world, where she fell in love with a human man named “Tom Curry.”

Together, they had a child—none other than the future Aquaman, “Arthur Curry.”

The fact that the queen bore a child with an ordinary human brought shame to Atlantis. The previous king of Atlantis ordered Atlanna to be exiled to the region inhabited by the Trench, a ruthless and savage species.

This exile was essentially a death sentence for Atlanna.

However, she miraculously survived and ended up in the Hidden Sea, where she had been trapped for twenty years.

Knowing the storyline, Chen Ye was fully aware of all this, which is why he immediately recognized Atlanna’s identity…

As a former queen, Atlanna knew many things, including the history of Atlantis’s first king and the Sea God.

The trident had been a gift from the Sea God to the original king of Atlantis. However, the man standing before her now didn’t look like the Sea God!

Despite his ability to control the sea with great power, Atlanna still harbored some doubts.

The man was heading to retrieve the trident, which was guarded by Karathen, a legendary sea monster and the undisputed ruler of the deep.

If this person could retrieve the trident from Karathen’s guardianship, Atlanna decided that, even if he wasn’t the true Sea God, she would still treat him with the respect and reverence due to a deity.

If he failed, he would perish in Karathen’s jaws, becoming just another meal for the sea monster.

“Karathen?”

Chen Ye smirked and arrogantly replied, “A mere sea monster poses no threat to me.”

Hearing this, Atlanna couldn’t help but feel a bit exasperated.

She had wanted to warn Chen Ye that anyone who underestimated Karathen had ultimately died in the creature’s maw.

Only a true king could tame Karathen.

After a moment of thought, Atlanna decided to remain silent…

By this point, Chen Ye had already reached the waterfall and, without hesitation, plunged through it.

Behind the waterfall was a cave, with an entrance to an unnamed underwater domain. Without a second thought, Chen Ye dove in.

Immediately.

The trident in his hand began vibrating even more intensely!

At this point, the trident seemed like a powerful tool, leading him further downward.

Following its guidance, Chen Ye descended rapidly.

Before long, he reached the depths of the unknown sea.

Here, there were many strange and peculiar species of fish, unknown to the human world.

Some of the fish were enormous, with sharp teeth that made them appear monstrous.

Of course, any fish foolish enough to consider Chen Ye prey didn’t live for long!

Chen Ye swiftly dealt with any that tried.

Moments later.

Chen Ye arrived at the seabed, his feet sinking into the soft coral reefs.

Upon reaching the bottom, all the strange fish disappeared—an odd occurrence.

This wasn’t because life couldn’t exist at the seabed!

Anyone with basic knowledge would understand that such a phenomenon usually had one of two explanations.

One: the water quality had deteriorated, making it uninhabitable.

Two: a powerful creature had claimed the area as its territory, scaring off any other life forms.

Much like how no animals would sleep near a lion’s den.

The water before Chen Ye was crystal clear, without any impurities…

It was clear that the second scenario was in play.

Chen Ye could even hear a strong, rhythmic heartbeat resonating through the water from the darkness.

*Thump! Thump! Thump!*

The strength of the heartbeat suggested that this unknown creature was incredibly powerful.

Chen Ye’s expression remained calm as he followed the trident’s guidance, moving forward.

The words he had spoken to Atlanna earlier were no idle boast.

A mere sea monster was no match for him.

With his current strength, if he activated his *Undying Rage,* a single punch could destroy this entire section of the ocean.

With such overwhelming power, why should he fear a sea monster?

After walking along the seabed for a while, Chen Ye finally found his target.

It was a throne, built from massive stones.

Sitting upon the throne was a humanoid figure.

The figure was tall and still clad in armor, with a crown upon their head.

Without a doubt, this was the first king of Atlantis.

However, centuries had passed, and the king had long since become nothing but a skeleton.

In the skeleton’s hand was a gleaming, golden weapon.

It was the very trident Chen Ye had been seeking!

In terms of appearance, the king’s trident, glowing with golden light, looked far more majestic than the dark, black trident in Chen Ye’s hand…

At that moment.

The trident in Chen Ye’s hand began vibrating wildly, as if it wanted to break free and get closer to the golden trident.

“Could it be that my trident wants to devour the golden one?”

Chen Ye didn’t stop it and allowed his trident to fly toward the throne, heading straight for the golden trident.

Just then.

It was as though a mechanism had been triggered, and the water around him began to churn violently.

Immediately after, a massive, unknown creature’s tail swung toward Chen Ye with incredible force, carrying the full weight of the ocean behind it.

“Hmm!”

Chen Ye realized that his actions had stirred the sea monster, Karathen!

With a cold snort, Chen Ye clenched his fist, and a white aura instantly surrounded him. Then, he threw a punch.

*Boom!*

The air and water exploded under the force of his punch.

The sheer destructive power hit the massive tail directly.

Chen Ye’s strength was now over 700 points.

Even without using the Undying Rage, his power was terrifying.

Coupled with the destructive energy of the Tremor-Tremor ability, his attacks were devastating.

A creature made of flesh and blood stood no chance!

Instantly.

The giant tail was torn apart, splitting and disintegrating…

The portion of the tail that had made contact with Chen Ye’s fist was completely obliterated.

*ROAR!!*

A deafening, agonized roar echoed from the darkness, spreading throughout the entire sea.

All the fish nearby scattered in terror.

Even Atlanna, outside the waterfall, heard the painful cry, and it made her jump in fear.

“That roar… Could it be Karathen? Is he really going to kill Karathen?”

At the thought, Atlanna began to tremble.

Karathen was a legendary sea monster, considered invincible in the ocean.

But now, it was being beaten so severely by that black-haired, black-eyed young man that it cried out in pain…

How terrifying must that young man’s strength be?

The very thought made her scalp tingle.

Atlanna had previously doubted whether Chen Ye was truly the Sea God.

But at this moment.

Atlanna began to reconsider.

Only a Sea God could defeat the monster Karathen in the ocean…
