- Global Reincarnation: Only I Know the Plot
- GROIKTP Chapter 426
**Cien Port!**
Inside the house by the lighthouse, Aquaman Arthur and his parents were having a long-awaited reunion. After being separated for twenty years, the emotions ran high among the three of them.
While Arthur was overjoyed, he couldn’t help but feel curious.
“Mom, where have you been these past twenty years? The only news I heard was that you had…”
Atlanna looked lovingly at her son and smiled, “I was punished by the King of Atlantis and exiled to the trench of the Trench Kingdom… but I got lucky. I found a door to another world and hid inside, though that door only allowed entry, not exit. I was trapped there until now.”
“How did you get out?”
“A young man claiming to be a sea god rescued me.”
“A sea god?” Arthur immediately asked, “Was he a man with black hair, who looked like someone from the East?”
“You’ve met him?” Atlanna was a bit taken aback.
“Yes!” Arthur then recounted his encounter with Steppenwolf in the depths of the ocean.
“An alien?” Atlanna was astonished.
Arthur nodded seriously. “That alien was powerful, but that guy was even stronger!”
Atlanna cautioned, “Arthur, if you meet him again, treat him with respect. Even if he isn’t a sea god, his abilities are likely stronger than any god. He not only obtained the trident, but also tamed the legendary sea monster, Karathen!”
“Of course, and I have to thank him for saving you,” Arthur replied.
Just then, the door was knocked on from the outside.
*Knock, knock, knock!*
The three inside were startled.
“I’ll get it,” Tom Curry said quickly, rushing to open the door.
Outside stood a young man with black hair and dark eyes—none other than Chen Ye.
“Who are you?” Tom Curry asked.
“I’m here to see Arthur,” Chen Ye responded.
Hearing this, Arthur came over immediately.
“It’s you!” Arthur exclaimed, clearly surprised.
“I hope I’m not interrupting your reunion,” Chen Ye said with a smile.
Tom Curry instantly realized that this must be the sea god who had rescued his wife.
“Please, come in!” Tom Curry said warmly.
After all, this man had saved his wife, and that was a debt of great gratitude.
Chen Ye nodded and stepped inside.
Compared to Tom’s warmth, Atlanna and Arthur were more reserved. They were smart enough to know that Chen Ye’s visit wasn’t just a casual one…
“Would you like something to drink?” Tom Curry asked eagerly.
“Anything will do,” Chen Ye replied.
“How about some whiskey? I’ve got a special bottle I’ve been saving!”
As Tom busied himself with the whiskey, Arthur spoke, “Thank you for rescuing my mother.”
Chen Ye smiled and got straight to the point, “If you want to thank me, then do something for me.”
Arthur frowned, “Can I ask what it is?”
“Go to Atlantis and take back the throne that belongs to you.”
Arthur instinctively rejected the idea, “Sorry, but Atlantis has nothing to do with me. That throne doesn’t belong to me.”
“It’s not up to you. It’s up to me,” Chen Ye smiled. “I say the throne is yours, and so it will be.”
Such a domineering statement rubbed Arthur the wrong way.
“Again, I’m sorry, but I can’t agree to that,” he responded flatly.
Atlanna, seeing her son’s blunt refusal, grew anxious. She knew the power of the so-called “sea god.”
Before she could speak, Chen Ye smiled and said, “Arthur, why don’t we step outside and discuss this privately?”
It was clearly a challenge.
Arthur snorted coldly and stood up immediately. A fight it would be—who was afraid of whom?
…
Ten minutes later, the raging sea had calmed.
Arthur, holding his now limp arm and sporting a bruised face, looked at Chen Ye with a new sense of dread.
Only now did he fully understand why that powerful alien had chosen to flee after just one punch from Chen Ye, leaving even the Mother Box behind…
Chen Ye’s punches were something no one wanted to endure.
“So, Arthur, have you given more thought to taking back the throne of Atlantis?” Chen Ye asked.
Arthur replied bitterly, “Look, even if I wanted to, do you really think the people of Atlantis would let someone with impure blood like me become their king?”
“No, they wouldn’t,” Chen Ye answered.
“And you think my half-brother Orm will just hand over the throne?”
“No, he won’t.”
Arthur smiled wryly, “That’s the problem. I can’t take the throne, and I don’t qualify for it.”
Chen Ye replied calmly, “You wouldn’t be able to do it alone. But now that I’m here, those problems you mentioned are no longer problems.”
“As for whether you’re qualified, if I say you are, then you are.”
“And what if we fail?” Arthur asked.
“We won’t fail,” Chen Ye said with certainty.
“The entire city of Atlantis won’t want me on the throne. If you force me into power, it will lead to a bloody conflict… That’s not something I want,” Arthur explained.
Hearing this, Chen Ye patted Arthur on the shoulder. “Well said. Your sense of responsibility and foresight show that you’re already starting to act like a king!”
Arthur sighed, knowing that the man before him had already made up his mind. There was no point in resisting—he couldn’t beat him anyway.
For the sake of his family’s safety, Arthur had no choice but to comply.
Still, he couldn’t help but ask, “I’m curious, what’s your real goal in all of this?”
“My goal is simple,” Chen Ye smiled. “Once you become king, you’ll announce that all of Atlantis will revere me as their sea god.”
That’s right!
Chen Ye’s goal was to become the supreme ruler of the Seven Seas. With that, all the oceanic races would fall under his control.
Such a vast domain would surely earn him a stellar rating in the system’s evaluation.
