GROIKTP Chapter 430

This entry is part 350 of 534 in the series Global Reincarnation: Only i Know the Plot

“King Nereus, have you gone senile? Or have you lost your faith and forgotten the true image of the Sea God?”

Orm questioned harshly, his voice booming.

He could sense that a conspiracy was brewing against him today, so he made sure to vehemently deny everything King Nereus was saying.

The other two kings also looked at King Nereus, their gazes filled with confusion.

Throughout the Seven Kingdoms of the sea, nearly every place had statues of the Sea God.

So, the image of the Sea God was something everyone was familiar with.

The young man with black hair and dark eyes standing before them looked nothing like the Sea God they knew.

Faced with everyone’s doubt, King Nereus merely smiled calmly.

At that moment, Chen Ye spoke in a calm tone.

“So, you are Orm, the current ruler of Atlantis?”

Orm’s expression was full of disdain as he demanded, “And what are you supposed to be? Who sent you to impersonate the Sea God? Do you realize this is a crime punishable by death? Name your master at once!”

“Such disrespect,” Chen Ye said evenly.

Then, he waved the trident in his hand.

A humming sound filled the air.

Suddenly, the calm sea waters began to surge.

All the water started moving rapidly to the sides, faster and faster…

Then, something miraculous happened.

The vast sea split in two, as if cleaved by a god’s hand, revealing the ocean floor beneath.

In an instant, the entire kingdom of Atlantis was exposed to the open air.

It was a scene of pure astonishment!

As they gazed up at the sun overhead, the people of Atlantis were terrified.

Such a bizarre, awe-inspiring event could never occur naturally.

It could only be the work of a god.

“Oh my god! A miracle is happening!”

“Is it the Sea God showing his presence?”

“Kneel down, and offer a prayer to the Sea God!”

Countless Atlanteans dropped to their knees, praying fervently.

In the meeting hall, the kings were utterly dumbfounded.

They had just seen Chen Ye casually split the entire ocean in two. This terrifying power left the kings in sheer terror.

King Nereus was also taken aback.

He knew this “Sea God” was formidable, but he had never imagined such an overwhelming display of power!

Orm was equally shocked, his expression full of doubt and disbelief.

This mysterious person wielded such incredible control over the ocean. Who would dare claim he wasn’t the true Sea God?

The other two kings were trembling, their knees weak, barely resisting the urge to kneel before Chen Ye.

Even Arthur, Mera, and the others watching from the shadows were shaken to their cores.

“Orm! Kneel!”

Chen Ye suddenly commanded, his voice icy.

Orm flinched and instinctively began to kneel but remembered his status. If he knelt now, his life would be in the hands of someone else.

Realizing this, Orm forced himself to stand tall, summoning his courage. “Even if you can control the ocean, that doesn’t make you the real Sea God!”

“Fool!”

Chen Ye’s voice dripped with authority as he pointed at Orm.

He unleashed his telekinetic power.

“Kneel!”

With a booming shout from Chen Ye, Orm suddenly felt an invisible force pressing down on him, as if a mountain was crushing him.

Within moments, Orm couldn’t hold out any longer and collapsed to the ground, kneeling.

His heart was filled with shame, but he couldn’t resist Chen Ye’s power.

Chen Ye then cast his gaze over the other two kings.

Immediately, their faces turned pale, and they, too, dropped to their knees, just like Orm.

“Hail the Sea God!” they cried.

At this point, it no longer mattered if Chen Ye was truly the Sea God. With such terrifying power, he might as well be a god.

Chen Ye smiled.

Now, everyone acknowledged him as the Sea God. Even if Orm stubbornly refused to admit it, it was already too late.

“Arthur, come on out.”

As soon as Chen Ye spoke, Arthur and the others stepped forward.

It was clear from their expressions that Arthur, Mera, and the others now held Chen Ye in awe.

Such overwhelming power!

When Queen Atlanna emerged, the kings were taken aback.

“Your Majesty? But how…?”

Orm was equally shocked. “Mother? I thought you were…”

Atlanna’s eyes glistened with tears as she approached Orm.

“Son, I didn’t die. I was trapped in a mysterious place… It was the Sea God who saved me.”

Atlanna’s expression was sorrowful.

After all, Orm was still her son. No mother could bear seeing her children in such conflict.

Seeing this, Chen Ye calmly controlled the ocean, allowing the water to return and cover Atlantis once more before withdrawing his telekinetic power.

Even though the force pressing down on Orm had been lifted, he remained kneeling, too stunned to rise.

He was still in a state of shock and disbelief.

Slowly, it began to dawn on Orm.

His mother’s presence alongside Arthur was enough to show where she stood.

“Mother, have you come to support *him* as well?”

The “him” Orm referred to was, of course, Arthur.

Atlanna nodded, her voice gentle. “Both of you are my sons, and I love you both dearly… But, Orm, you’ve been led astray. Your father told you that the land and the sea are two different worlds, but he was wrong. The land and sea are one. Endless conflict will only lead to bloodshed.”

Orm fell silent.

Suddenly, he shouted, “No! This isn’t fair! I challenge Arthur to a duel, by the laws of Atlantis! When royal bloodlines clash, only the victor may claim the throne!”

Orm knew that today, he would likely lose everything.

But he wasn’t willing to give up his throne.

A duel was his last hope.

Only by defeating Arthur—or killing him in the duel—could he keep his crown.

Hearing this, Atlanna broke down in tears.

She couldn’t bear the thought of her two sons fighting to the death.

Chen Ye, on the other hand, found it quite entertaining.

“Very well, Orm. I accept your request. This will be your final chance,” Chen Ye said.

Atlanna wanted to intervene, but once the Sea God had spoken, no one could stop it.

Arthur, though reluctant, had no choice but to face his brother.

He had no option but to fight.

Orm stood up, his gaze fixed on Arthur.

“My dear brother, follow me to the dueling arena. If you want to take my throne, you must defeat me before all of Atlantis… and in front of the Sea God!”
