- Global Reincarnation: Only I Know the Plot
- GROIKTP Chapter 437
A few hours later…
The aircraft stopped.
From a distance, the group could already see that the entire area was shrouded in a strange energy. Strange roots had grown within the energy field, looking completely alien compared to anything on Earth.
Moreover, the strange energy was expanding rapidly.
“Over there!” said Barry Allen, the Flash.
He didn’t need to point it out; everyone had already seen it. The strange energy spreading across the landscape was hard to miss, and none of them were blind.
Above the strange energy, countless Parademons flew through the air.
Seeing this, Bruce and the others became grim.
A single Parademon wasn’t much of a threat, but with so many of them, they could easily overwhelm and kill the entire team.
Now, everything relied on Chen Ye.
“Ronan, are you confident?” Bruce asked.
Chen Ye gripped the kryptonite dagger in his hand and smiled. “No problem.”
Batman had given Chen Ye the kryptonite dagger. Since kryptonite was Superman’s biggest weakness, as long as Clark got close to it, he would become weak and vulnerable, just like a regular human. With this dagger, Chen Ye wouldn’t even need to activate his indestructible demon form to take down Superman.
“Let’s move out.”
With that, Chen Ye was the first to leap out of the aircraft. The others quickly followed.
“Victor, once the three Mother Boxes merge, it’s your job to separate them. The rest of you, cover Victor. As for the enemies, leave them to me!” Chen Ye commanded.
No one objected to Chen Ye’s orders, not even Bruce.
It wasn’t because they blindly trusted Chen Ye or followed his lead, but because, in his plan, Chen Ye was taking on the most dangerous role—dealing with all the enemies.
“Move out!”
Chen Ye soared into the air, heading straight for the massive field of strange energy.
…
As Chen Ye approached the strange energy, he was immediately spotted by countless Parademons.
“Roar!”
The Parademons screeched as they charged toward Chen Ye.
“Get lost!” Chen Ye growled.
He unleashed his Conqueror’s Haki!
Instantly, the charging Parademons fell unconscious, dropping from the sky like rain.
From a distance, Batman and the others watched in shock as Chen Ye, with just one shout, took down a horde of Parademons.
“Wow! Mr. Ronan is insanely strong!” The Flash exclaimed.
Batman and Wonder Woman nodded in agreement, deeply impressed.
Meanwhile, Chen Ye moved forward effortlessly, making his way to the core of the strange energy.
It was a building, wrapped in countless “roots,” from which the strange energy emanated. Clearly, the Mother Boxes and Steppenwolf were inside.
However, the outside of the building was surrounded by a layer of bizarre energy, acting like a shield to prevent anyone from approaching.
Without hesitation, Chen Ye raised his fist and punched.
“Boom!”
The entire space trembled.
Under the power of Chen Ye’s Tremor-Tremor Fruit, the energy shield shattered like an eggshell, completely breaking apart.
Inside the building, Steppenwolf was staring intently at the fusion of the Mother Boxes.
Once the three Mother Boxes fully merged, he would have dominion over Earth.
Suddenly, a loud explosion echoed from outside, and the entire building shook.
Steppenwolf’s expression darkened—he knew the intruders had arrived.
“Clark, go deal with them!” Steppenwolf ordered coldly.
From the shadows beside him, a figure emerged.
Clad in a tight battle suit that highlighted his powerful muscles, with a red cape draped over his shoulders and the iconic “S” emblem on his chest, was none other than Superman, Clark Kent!
However, this Clark was different—his face was twisted with rage, his eyes glowing a blood-red hue, resembling a demon. He now bore an unsettling resemblance to the flying Parademons outside.
Upon hearing Steppenwolf’s command, Clark sprang into action.
“Boom!”
He vanished from his spot and shot into the sky with a deafening sonic boom.
Outside…
Chen Ye had just shattered the energy shield and was preparing to advance when a shadow suddenly flashed before him, and a massive fist appeared right in front of his face.
“Whoosh!”
The powerful gust from the punch made Chen Ye’s expression shift slightly.
Even the force of the punch alone was intense, indicating just how devastating the actual strike would be.
In the nick of time, Chen Ye activated Armament Haki, raising his arm to block.
“Boom!”
Chen Ye was instantly sent flying, hurtling through the air at incredible speed.
After stabilizing himself mid-air using his telekinesis, Chen Ye couldn’t help but frown.
Though he wasn’t injured, the punch had left his arm throbbing in pain—a rare occurrence since his Armament Haki had reached its peak level.
“Clark, you truly are a Kryptonian genius. Your strength is impressive,” Chen Ye muttered, shaking off the ache in his arm as he gazed down below.
There, rising to confront him, was Superman.
Seeing Superman’s once-handsome face now twisted into something more demonic, Chen Ye remarked, “Clark, what happened to you? How did you end up looking like this?”
Superman didn’t respond. Instead, he flew at Chen Ye, throwing a vicious left hook.
“Whoosh!”
Chen Ye was sent crashing into the ground, smashing into the ruins, leaving a deep crater.
Batman, Wonder Woman, and the others arrived just in time to witness the scene, all of them taken aback.
“Ronan, are you alright?” Wonder Woman asked, concerned for her teammate.
“I’m fine.”
Chen Ye climbed out of the rubble, casually dusting off the debris.
Bruce, puzzled, asked, “Ronan, didn’t I give you the kryptonite weapon?”
“It’s right here,” Chen Ye replied calmly. “But I’m not planning on using it just yet. I want to see how strong this Kryptonian really is!”
Upon hearing that Chen Ye wanted to test his strength against Superman, Bruce couldn’t help but warn him, “Ronan, don’t underestimate him. You have no idea how powerful that guy is!”
“Is that so?”
Chen Ye glanced up at Superman, who was hovering in the air, and then said to Bruce, “You have no idea how powerful I am.”
As soon as Chen Ye finished speaking, Bruce and Diana could feel a tremendous surge of energy radiating from him.
“Step back!” Chen Ye commanded.
Instinctively, Bruce and the others quickly backed away.
They could feel the temperature around Chen Ye rapidly rising.
The next moment…
A dramatic change occurred in Chen Ye’s body.
Dark energy began to radiate from him—ominous and eerie!
Suddenly, a ring of flames, about twenty meters in diameter, surrounded Chen Ye. Within the flames, even the air itself seemed to ignite.
These flames came straight from the depths of hell, their power immense.
Seeing this, Bruce and the others felt a chill run down their spines.
Then, a majestic dragon-shaped armor emerged from the flames, enveloping Chen Ye.
In an instant, Chen Ye was fully armored, exuding an aura of unrivaled dominance, like a warlord from the underworld.
The indestructible demon form had been activated!
Chen Ye lifted his gaze and beckoned to the demonic Superman hovering in the sky.
…
