Chen Ye patted her hand gently, then stepped forward, placing himself between her and the young man. His gaze was indifferent.

Then Chen Ye raised his hand.

“Let’s go,” Chen Ye said, and they continued walking.
Tang Yuting quickly followed.
As they walked, people parted to make way for them, their eyes filled with awe and respect for Chen Ye.
After a short while, Tang Yuting’s phone rang.
“Who’s calling?” Chen Ye asked.
“It’s my sister.”
Tang Yuting answered the call. “Hey, sis. What’s up?”
From the other side, Song Lingrong’s voice came through: “Yuting, is Chen Ye with you?”
“He’s right here.”
“Let me talk to him. There’s something important I need to tell him.”
“Okay.” Tang Yuting handed the phone to Chen Ye. “My sister needs to talk to you.”
Chen Ye was a bit puzzled but took the phone.
“Hey, Lingrong?”
Without any pleasantries, Song Lingrong got straight to the point, her tone serious. “Chen Ye, Adam has made his move!”
“What?” Chen Ye’s senses sharpened immediately. “When is he planning to act?”
“It could be tonight… If you’re free, come meet me. We can’t just sit back and let Adam succeed.”
Understanding the gravity of the situation, Chen Ye replied, “Alright, I’ll head over right away.”
“Sorry for interrupting your date,” Song Lingrong teased lightly before adding, “Pass the phone back to Yuting. I’ll explain things to her so she won’t be too disappointed.”
Chen Ye smiled and handed the phone back to Tang Yuting.
After hearing her sister’s words, a faint look of disappointment crossed Tang Yuting’s face.
However, she wasn’t the type to act spoiled and understood the importance of the situation.
After ending the call, she said, “Chen Ye, my sister is in City K. Let’s meet up with her as soon as possible.”
“Alright, hold on tight,” Chen Ye replied as he pulled her into his arms.
Knowing that Chen Ye could fly, Tang Yuting felt both shy and excited as she wrapped her arms tightly around his waist.
Under the astonished gazes of the onlookers, Chen Ye took off into the sky with Tang Yuting in his arms.
Thanks to his anti-gravity flying ability, Chen Ye could reach supersonic speeds with his current attributes.
