GROIKTP Chapter 449

This entry is part 369 of 534 in the series Global Reincarnation: Only i Know the Plot

*Boom!*

Accompanied by the sound of a sonic boom, a high-tech aircraft sped through the sky at an incredible speed.

The aircraft was undeniably an advanced piece of technology, moving at Mach 10, yet the interior remained calm and quiet, almost as peaceful as the first-class cabin of a commercial airplane. In terms of technological advancement, it was at least a hundred years ahead of the current world.

Inside the cabin, a group of seven or eight people gathered as Song Lingrong explained the upcoming plan.

“This operation to take down Adam is of utmost importance. We cannot afford to fail!” Song Lingrong said seriously. “You are all smart people, so you should understand: if Adam successfully kills Wind God and claims the one million reincarnation points, his strength will undoubtedly reach new heights.”

“Adam has already cleared the 31st floor of the Reincarnation Tower. With those one million points, he could very well clear the 32nd and even the 33rd floors! If Adam gains control over the 33rd floor’s Reincarnation Space, we all know what kind of consequences that would bring.”

“This is why Adam is so determined to eliminate Wind God!”

“Comrades, we are all Reincarnators from Xia Country. Our fate is interconnected. If Adam succeeds, it will affect all of us. So, we cannot allow him to win!”

Everyone’s expressions turned serious as they absorbed Song Lingrong’s words.

“Commander Song, we understand. Rest assured, we won’t just go through the motions,” said Zhichuang, the master, while the others nodded in agreement.

Even Chen Ye wore a stern expression.

He didn’t underestimate Adam in the slightest!

Anyone who had reached the 32nd floor of the Reincarnation Tower was bound to be exceptional.

“Commander, do we have a solid plan for this operation?” Yiye Zhiqiu suddenly asked. “I’ve heard that Adam has gathered dozens of strong fighters, including the top warrior from the Polar Bear. We’re just a small group—are we not walking into certain death?”

At these words, the others couldn’t help but look uneasy.

Song Lingrong frowned and shot a displeased look at Yiye Zhiqiu. How dare he shake the team’s morale at such a critical moment?

“General Yiye, mind your words. This is far from certain death. We’re not the only ones involved. Many top fighters from other nations understand the dangers of Adam succeeding, and they’ll secretly cooperate with us.”

Hearing this, the group let out a sigh of relief.

Yiye Zhiqiu, realizing he had misspoken, quickly said, “Apologies, Commander. I didn’t mean to question your plan…”

“Commander Song, what’s the specific strategy?” asked a chubby Reincarnator.

Song Lingrong explained, “Besides stopping Adam, the bounty on Wind God is highly tempting. Many people are already aware of this operation. By the time we strike, numerous high-ranking Reincarnators will try to swoop in and claim Wind God’s head. The situation will likely get chaotic… so the plan I’ve laid out is to adapt as we go!”

“Shura and I will be responsible for taking down Adam. As for his allies, I ask you all to help keep them occupied.”

Everyone responded, “Understood!”

Song Lingrong turned to Chen Ye with a smile. “Shura, are you up for this?”

Chen Ye nodded. “I’ve been looking forward to facing Adam for a while now.”

As they spoke, the aircraft had already left the mainland and was flying over the ocean.

“We’re almost there!” Nine Daolu, the pilot, called out.

Everyone glanced through the windshield and saw a massive island looming on the horizon.

“I need to ask!” Nine Daolu suddenly said. “Does anyone here not have flying skills?”

“If you don’t, find someone who can fly because I haven’t mastered landing this aircraft yet. So… I’ll have to cut the engines and store the plane in my personal inventory once we’re over the island.”

In other words, they would have to jump out.

Everyone gave her exasperated looks. She was certainly unreliable!

Fortunately, most of them had mastered some kind of flight-related skill by now. For those who couldn’t fly, there were ways to ensure they wouldn’t fall to their deaths.

So, while the group mentally cursed Nine Daolu, they didn’t voice any complaints…

**Meanwhile, in the United States, at the Pentagon…**

The President, Secretary of Defense, several members of Congress, and key department heads—all of America’s top officials—were gathered together.

At this moment, they all focused their attention on a large monitor on the wall.

The meeting room was eerily silent as the screen displayed a live feed of Adam resting in a hotel suite, his eyes closed as he meditated.

A Reincarnator with considerable skill stood nearby, holding a miniature camera, broadcasting Adam’s every move.

The President and his team watched the live feed so they could receive updates on the situation at the island nation as soon as possible.

Adam’s mission was of immense significance.

Regardless of whether he succeeded or failed, the outcome could reshape the global landscape.

In truth, the high-ranking officials in the Pentagon were deeply conflicted.

On the one hand, they didn’t want Adam to fail in killing Wind God, because if he did, it could destabilize America’s international standing. And if something happened to Adam, it could have severe consequences for the entire United States.

At the same time, they were uneasy about the prospect of Adam’s success.

If Adam succeeded and claimed the bounty, his strength would skyrocket once more. If he gained control over the 33rd floor, he would become the undisputed ruler of the world.

While this would bring glory to the United States, these officials feared that their own influence and power could be diminished.

If Adam became the “King of the World,” the entire U.S. would fall under his control. And whether or not Adam would allow them to retain their positions of authority remained uncertain.

In their shoes, they certainly wouldn’t allow a disobedient government to continue operating.

When Adam first revealed his plans, the President personally met with him to try and change his mind.

But, of course, he failed…

In the meeting room, the officials stared at the increasingly commanding figure of Adam on the screen, frowning and silently considering their options…

At this very moment, governments and factions around the world were closely watching the island nation.

Everyone knew that this battle wasn’t just a clash between Reincarnators; it was also a contest between nations.

The outcome of this fight would have enormous consequences.

For ordinary people, today was just another day.

But for world leaders, it was an excruciatingly tense day…
