GROIKTP Chapter 450

This entry is part 370 of 534 in the series Global Reincarnation: Only i Know the Plot

“Alright, we’re here. Everyone, get ready!”

As Nine Daolu’s words fell, she swiftly stored away her aircraft.

The aircraft instantly disappeared mid-air, and everyone inside suddenly found themselves weightless.

For ordinary people, suddenly experiencing weightlessness at such a high altitude would be terrifying enough to cause a heart attack before they even hit the ground. But for the elite individuals aboard, all of whom were top-tier experts, there was no panic. They each used their abilities to fly.

Soon enough, everyone landed safely.

It was now past 8:00 PM in the island nation. Since they had landed in a remote area, the surroundings were eerily quiet.

Song Lingrong checked her watch and said, “It’s currently 8:40 PM. According to the intel, Adam is in a hotel right now, and he plans to make his move at 9:00. We don’t have much time left.”

“But we don’t need to rush in right away. Once Adam and Wind God engage, follow my signal, and we’ll strike together to take Adam down!”

Everyone understood the wisdom in waiting to strike at the right moment. No one had any objections.

Song Lingrong continued, “Remember, our primary target is Adam. Focus on delaying his allies rather than defeating them. If you can’t handle them, retreat. As long as we can stop Adam, the mission is a success.”

The group nodded in agreement. In this plan, the heavy lifting would be done by Song Lingrong and Shura, as they were responsible for directly confronting Adam. The others only needed to focus on hindering the rest of Adam’s team, so no one had any complaints.

“Any other suggestions?” Song Lingrong asked.

Everyone shook their heads—none of them had any additional intel to offer, and they didn’t want to speak recklessly.

“Alright, let’s move out!”

With Song Lingrong’s command, the group soared into the sky, heading toward the city.

As they flew, Song Lingrong drifted closer to Chen Ye.

“Chen Ye, I hope you’re not upset with me for deciding on your behalf to involve you in this dangerous mission against Adam?”

Chen Ye smiled. “Why would I be upset? You’re overthinking it, Lingrong.”

Song Lingrong smiled in return but then turned serious again. “Just be careful with Adam. I’ve dealt with him more than once, and he’s extremely ambitious. He’s not to be underestimated.”

Chen Ye nodded. He certainly wasn’t underestimating Adam, a man who had long held the top spot on the global rankings.

The group moved quickly, and before long, they reached the city.

Compared to its former bustling state, Tokyo now appeared desolate.

This, of course, was the work of Wind God.

Due to Wind God’s havoc, which had taken over half of the island nation, the entire country was in a state of panic. The devastated areas were practically reduced to ruins.

Many wealthy people had fled, taking their families and escaping from the island nation. Even the capital, Tokyo, had not been spared. Rumor had it that numerous officials had resigned and gone into hiding abroad.

Under such conditions, the economy of the island nation was no longer in a state of depression—it was on the verge of complete collapse.

The only people left were those too poor to leave, forced to continue living in this chaos.

While the capital was in slightly better condition, much of the country was reverting to a near-primitive state.

Even in the capital, people were too afraid to go out at night.

After all, Tokyo was known to be haunted by demons after dark—demons from hell.

It must be said, Wind God was truly formidable.

To single-handedly plunge an entire country into chaos like this was a remarkable feat.

At the same time, Wind God’s actions had shown the world something unprecedented:

It was possible for a single being to wield such overwhelming power.

“A few months ago, I was in Tokyo on business. It was still one of the world’s top economic cities—busy and bustling. I can’t believe that in just a few months, it’s become like this,” Song Lingrong said, her tone filled with emotion.

Though Chen Ye had never been to Tokyo before, he had heard of its prosperity. Now, seeing the city’s desolation, even he was a bit surprised.

Wind God had truly wreaked havoc on the island nation.

Chen Ye couldn’t help but think that maybe it wasn’t so bad to leave Wind God alone.

In his previous life, he hadn’t had a favorable view of the island nation, and nothing had changed since he’d been transported to this world.

At that moment, Song Lingrong led the group past Tokyo and continued flying.

One of the Reincarnators couldn’t help but ask, “Commander Song, wasn’t Adam supposed to be in Tokyo? Where are we going?”

Song Lingrong replied, “It’s too passive to focus solely on Adam. We don’t need to follow him. All we need to do is keep an eye on Wind God. Based on the intel I’ve received, Wind God was recently spotted in Sakaguchi.”

Everyone nodded in agreement.

If Adam’s goal was to kill Wind God, then watching Wind God would naturally lead them to Adam.

Song Lingrong’s destination, Sakaguchi, wasn’t far from Tokyo, and the group moved quickly. Before long, they reached the area and found a place to hide.

As time passed, tension began to build.

Reincarnators from the island nation, along with major government officials from various countries, were on edge.

Adam’s plan to strike at 9 PM was no longer a secret.

Now, there was less than a minute remaining before 9:00…

The battle that would determine the fate of the world was about to begin.

Moments later.

9:00 PM arrived.

In his hotel suite, Adam, who had been meditating with his eyes closed, suddenly stood up and flew out of the window.

The Reincarnator filming him quickly followed.

At the Pentagon in the United States, the President and his team saw this unfold on the screen and leaned in, their attention fully focused.

Over Tokyo, black dots began to appear in the sky—Reincarnators in flight.

Those who couldn’t fly moved swiftly through the skyscrapers.

One civilian reported seeing a man in a black hoodie, shooting webs from his wrists as he swung past the window, navigating the tall buildings.

Reincarnators from all around were converging on Sakaguchi.

Some came to fight, some came to take advantage of the chaos, and others were simply there to watch the spectacle.

In no time, the small town of Sakaguchi became incredibly lively.

At that moment, Sakaguchi no longer resembled a human world—it looked more like a demonic lair.

The ground was covered in black substance, and the streets were filled with roaming creatures—horrific low-level demons.

From a bird’s-eye view, the large town of Sakaguchi looked like a glimpse of hell on earth.

On the roof of a crumbling skyscraper sat Wind God, a towering figure with demonic features and large wings. He reclined on his throne, his eyes closed as he basked in the atmosphere.

A few human girls surrounded him, trembling as they massaged his shoulders and served him drinks.

Suddenly, Wind God seemed to sense something and pushed the girls aside, rising from his throne.

“They’ve come to die,” he sneered, his wings beating as he flew off the building.
