GROIKTP Chapter 476

This entry is part 397 of 534 in the series Global Reincarnation: Only i Know the Plot

As Sun Lin attacked, Chen Ye didn’t even bother dodging.

In fact, he wasn’t even interested in using his Armament Haki.

With Chen Ye’s current physical condition, enduring an attack of this caliber was effortless.

At most, Sun Lin’s attack would feel like a light scratch to him.

Bang!

Sun Lin’s tiger-claw technique landed squarely on Chen Ye’s shoulder.

Immediately, Sun Lin exerted all his strength, intending to dislocate Chen Ye’s arm and teach the arrogant youth a painful lesson!

But no matter how much force Sun Lin applied, Chen Ye remained unmoved.

It was as if Sun Lin had gripped not a human shoulder, but a block of solid concrete.

“Are you giving me a massage?” Chen Ye asked nonchalantly.

Sun Lin was shocked and quickly jumped back, his expression becoming more serious.

The watching students, who hadn’t given Chen Ye much credit at first, suddenly perked up with interest.

In the dojo, Sun Lin was renowned for his finger strength.

He had once demonstrated bending an iron plate with a single claw strike.

Yet here was this young man, completely unfazed by Sun Lin’s famous technique.

Clearly, this challenger was no ordinary person, and the students quickly realized they were witnessing something special.

Many even pulled out their phones to start recording.

Seeing the students filming, Sun Lin grew even more anxious.

Now, he couldn’t afford to lose.

If he were defeated and the footage was posted online, his career would be ruined.

Not only would this dojo fire him, but no other dojo would hire him either.

Determined, Sun Lin took a deep breath, his eyes narrowing as he focused intensely on Chen Ye.

Now, he was taking the fight seriously.

“Look at that! Sun Lin’s entire aura has changed!”

“He’s getting serious!”

“This is going to be good. Make sure to get it all on video!”

The students’ whispered conversations didn’t distract the two men in the ring.

“Ha!”

Sun Lin let out a fierce shout, quickly stepping behind Chen Ye and launching a powerful strike aimed at his back—a classic move from the Tiger Fist style.

Bang!

Once again, his attack landed squarely on Chen Ye.

Chen Ye, however, still didn’t bother dodging.

Despite the loud impact, which caused some students to gasp in shock, Chen Ye stood perfectly still, completely unshaken.

Sun Lin’s face paled as he realized that his punch felt like it had collided with solid iron. His fist even ached from the impact.

At this point, Sun Lin finally understood: the man before him was a true expert.

But Sun Lin wasn’t ready to give up just yet. He swiftly closed in again, hooking Chen Ye’s left leg with his right foot while driving his shoulder forward.

It was a move known as “Leaning Mountain Crash.”

With Sun Lin’s strength and skill, even an ox would have been tripped by such a move.

But the result was unexpected.

Chen Ye didn’t budge—yet Sun Lin himself was thrown backward, crashing to the ground.

Seeing this, the watching students erupted in disbelief.

It was clear to everyone now that Sun Lin, their instructor, was completely outmatched by this challenger.

Chen Ye hadn’t even moved, yet Sun Lin had not only failed to make any impact, but had also ended up on the floor.

In the crowd, the other instructors were beginning to panic.

“Go notify Master Qian!” the lead instructor, Zhou, barked.

One of the other instructors immediately hurried upstairs to fetch Master Qian, the dojo’s head disciple.

“This guy is using some kind of high-level hard body technique,” one of the other instructors muttered to Zhou. “He’s clearly a master.”

Zhou nodded, his expression serious.

Meanwhile, Sun Lin was still struggling to his feet, unwilling to admit defeat.

Seeing this, Zhou called out loudly, “Sun Lin, you’ve already lost. Stand down!”

Continuing the fight would only further humiliate Sun Lin and damage the dojo’s reputation. Zhou couldn’t allow that.

Sun Lin’s face turned white at the command.

He knew that his career was effectively over.

Even if the dojo showed mercy and didn’t fire him, no student would want to train under him anymore.

His income primarily came from teaching classes and earning commissions; the base salary was barely enough to survive on. Without students, he’d be better off working as a laborer.

But with Zhou stepping in, Sun Lin knew there was no point in continuing. Further resistance would only make him look even worse.

Resigned, Sun Lin slumped his shoulders and slowly walked off the mat.

Chen Ye watched silently, his expression indifferent.

He wasn’t the type to worry about the consequences of his actions on others, especially someone like Sun Lin.

“This is the martial arts of this world?” Chen Ye pondered. “Sun Lin’s sudden burst of strength was definitely beyond that of a normal person. I could even hear his heartbeat accelerating, manipulating his blood flow. Fascinating. Could I learn techniques like this?”

The idea intrigued Chen Ye.

According to what he remembered from the novel, the top martial artists in this world could cultivate true energy, achieving incredible destructive power. If he could learn that, it would undoubtedly enhance his own strength.

For a moment, Chen Ye was tempted.

But after thinking it through, he shook his head.

Unlike the protagonist of the novel, Chen Ye didn’t have an overpowered system that allowed him to grow stronger just by breathing. For him to achieve results through martial arts training would take years of hard work.

He could accomplish far more in that time by focusing on his missions in the Reincarnation Space.

As Chen Ye was lost in thought, the students continued to buzz with excitement.

“He actually won? And so easily?”

“Isn’t Sun Lin supposed to be one of our best instructors? How did he lose like that?”

“This guy’s pretty tough. No wonder he dared to challenge the dojo.”

“How is he so resilient? Sun Lin’s attacks didn’t seem to affect him at all.”

“He must’ve mastered some kind of iron body technique. That’s probably why he’s here—to make a name for himself.”

“This guy’s a real expert. We’re in for a good show today.”

While the students chattered among themselves, the instructors were frowning.

“Should we stop them from filming?” one of the instructors suggested in a hushed tone.

Zhou shook his head. “It’s not class time. The students have the right to record. Besides, if we upset them, they might spread bad rumors about us.”

The instructor who had made the suggestion fell silent.

Within a couple of minutes, a middle-aged man descended from upstairs.

He was average-looking and of medium build, but his hands were unusually large, like a pair of fans.

This was Master Qian, the dojo’s head disciple, who usually ran things when the master wasn’t around.
