GROIKTP Chapter 528

This entry is part 450 of 534 in the series Global Reincarnation: Only i Know the Plot

**Tornado of Terror.**

Ranked third among the S-Class heroes!

One of the Hero Association’s top fighters!!

In fact…

In the original storyline, because Blast was so unpredictable and constantly missing, Tornado of Terror was always regarded as the Hero Association’s “ultimate weapon”!

Now, with Chen Ye’s return, everything had changed.

Regardless, Tatsumaki was undoubtedly a powerful force!!

Even among the powerful monsters of the Monster Association, Tatsumaki’s abilities would be considered top-tier!

Of course…

Chen Ye wasn’t concerned about Tatsumaki’s challenge.

Her psychic powers were formidable, but Chen Ye was no slouch either!

If they truly fought, Chen Ye was confident in his victory.

Why? Because he had more abilities!

So, when he heard that Tatsumaki was on her way to challenge him, Chen Ye remained completely calm.

In stark contrast, however, the president was panicking!

Tatsumaki, with her overwhelming strength, had always held a position of superiority within the association.

Even as the president, he had no way of giving orders to her!

In fact, there were times when Tatsumaki wouldn’t even bother acknowledging him as president…

“This, this… how could this happen…”

Seeing the president so flustered and at a complete loss, Chen Ye finally spoke up: “President, there’s no need to worry. Since she’s here for me, I’ll handle it.”

Hearing this, the president was taken aback. Looking at Chen Ye’s calm demeanor, he finally let out a sigh of relief.

That’s right!

Mr. Mundo is here!

Mr. Mundo, the Hero Association’s ace, the strongest human!!

With him stepping in, even if Tatsumaki were planning a rebellion, he’d be able to handle it easily, right?

With that thought, the president fully relaxed.

“To cause trouble here in the Hero Association headquarters? This Tatsumaki really is out of line!!”

The president’s tone was filled with reproach.

But had Chen Ye not been by his side, the president wouldn’t have dared to utter a word…

The secretary couldn’t help but ask: “President, Tatsumaki will be here any moment, should we…”

The president waved his hand confidently and said, “There’s no need to stop her, let her in.”

“Yes, Mr. President.”

Once the secretary had left the office, the president suddenly turned to Chen Ye and pleaded, “Mr. Mundo, if the situation turns unpleasant, could we settle it outside? The Hero Association building… it was my father’s life’s work…”

He was clearly worried that if Chen Ye and Tatsumaki fought, they’d destroy the building.

You couldn’t really blame the president for having such concerns.

He was well aware of how much of a powerhouse Tatsumaki was.

And with the strongest human added to the mix, if they truly clashed here, it would spell disaster for the Hero Association headquarters!!

Chen Ye nodded in agreement, just as the sounds of commotion started to come from outside the office, followed by a faint yet sharp voice.

Before long…

The door to the president’s office was forcefully flung open.

A young girl stormed in.

She had a head of green, curly hair, and though she looked no older than her teenage years, with a petite build, she had the appearance of a child.

In reality, however, this “girl” was already 28 years old!

This was Tatsumaki.

As always, she was dressed in her typical dark green, split robe, the slit running all the way up to her waist… Her pale skin was faintly visible, making one wonder if she was wearing anything underneath!

Though Tatsumaki had an air of allure, Chen Ye, aware of her true age, wasn’t particularly interested.

Her sister, on the other hand, was much more appealing to Chen Ye…

Upon entering, Tatsumaki quickly scanned the room before locking her gaze on Chen Ye.

“So, you’re Mundo?”

There were only two people in the room—Chen Ye and the president.

Tatsumaki knew the president, so the unfamiliar face could only belong to Mundo. No need to guess further.

“That’s me.”

Chen Ye remained seated, showing no intention of standing up, and asked calmly: “What brings you to me, Tatsumaki?”

“Since you’re Mundo, this will be quick!” Tatsumaki said bluntly, without any courtesy. “I want you to voluntarily step down from your position as the top S-Class hero. Mr. Blast is far more deserving of that title!”

“Are you referring to strength?” Chen Ye asked.

“Yes, and what if I am?” Tatsumaki retorted.

“Well then, bring Blast here, and I’ll give him a fair chance to challenge me!” Chen Ye replied indifferently.

Tatsumaki was furious at these words.

If she could find Blast, why would she have joined the Hero Association in the first place?

She had joined precisely to wait for Blast’s appearance and thank him in person.

Years ago, Blast had saved Tatsumaki…

“I don’t need Mr. Blast; I can defeat you myself!!” Tatsumaki said proudly.

“You?”

Chen Ye shook his head, smiling.

“You bastard! Are you underestimating me?” Tatsumaki shouted angrily.

Seeing Tatsumaki lose her temper, the president was terrified.

Chen Ye, however, remained completely calm: “No, I’m saying you’re not qualified to challenge me. If you want to challenge me, you’ll have to defeat my disciple first.”

That’s right!

Chen Ye had no interest in fighting Tatsumaki, feeling it would be a complete waste of time.

So, naturally, the task was passed on to Saitama, the bald-headed king of power!

After all, Saitama was now his disciple.

A master has the right to let his disciple handle some work. It’s only natural!

“You have a disciple?” Tatsumaki was momentarily stunned.

The president was equally surprised.

Mr. Mundo has a disciple? He had never heard about this before!

“That’s right!” Chen Ye nodded. “If you can defeat my disciple, I’ll grant you the opportunity to challenge me.”

Tatsumaki was furious.

She had come here to challenge Chen Ye directly and make him give up his position to Blast. But now, he wanted her to fight his disciple first?

However, Tatsumaki knew that forcefully challenging Mundo wouldn’t be proper. He had every right to refuse her.

Now that he had set a condition, she had no choice but to accept.

Tatsumaki wanted to defeat Mundo fair and square.

“Fine! Where is your disciple?”

Chen Ye glanced at the time. It was just before 10 a.m., so Saitama’s test probably wasn’t over yet.

Chen Ye replied, “My disciple is currently taking this year’s Hero Association test. Once his test is over, he’ll come here.”

“But I don’t want to wait that long!” Tatsumaki complained.

The president, who had been silent for a while, interjected: “Mr. Mundo, if you don’t mind, I could arrange for your disciple’s test to be altered.”

Chen Ye raised an eyebrow. “What do you mean?”

“We could expedite the process, have him come here sooner for the match with Tatsumaki, and evaluate his performance based on the fight. Does that sound alright, Mr. Mundo?”

The president spoke in a tone of negotiation.

In reality, the president had already decided that no matter how Chen Ye’s disciple performed, he would give him a favorable evaluation.

After all, the student had a very influential Master!

Chen Ye thought for a moment, then nodded. “That’s fine.”

“My disciple’s name is ‘Saitama.’ He lives in Z City. He’s bald, so he should be easy to recognize.”

Chen Ye knew that by doing this, Saitama would almost certainly receive an S-Class evaluation.

This would save Saitama from having to go through the trouble of hiding his power in the future.

Although Chen Ye briefly considered it, he still agreed to the president’s suggestion.

In the original story, many of Saitama’s achievements were taken by others…

Like King, with his so-called “Emperor Engine”!

Almost all of King’s fame came from Saitama.

As a spectator, one might find this amusing.

But now, Saitama was Chen Ye’s disciple.

Chen Ye had no intention of letting anyone else take credit for his disciple’s accomplishments, which is why he agreed to make sure Saitama received the recognition he deserved.

Of course, Chen Ye wouldn’t go overboard.

Granting Saitama an S-Class rank should suffice.

If Saitama’s full strength was revealed, it would attract the attention of other reincarnators who might be aware of the Bald-headed King of Power’s existence.

And Chen Ye wasn’t looking to invite that kind of trouble…

Seeing Chen Ye agree, the president immediately called his secretary back in.

“Contact the person in charge of the Hero Test in Z City. Inform them that a man named Saitama needs to be transferred to the headquarters immediately. Make sure it’s done as quickly as possible.”

The secretary promptly carried out the order.

In Z City…

After receiving the president’s command, the senior officials at the testing site quickly moved into action and located Saitama, who was participating in the physical fitness tests.

“Are you Mr. Saitama?”

“Huh?” Saitama blinked in confusion and asked, “Yeah, that’s me. What’s up?”

“Your test location has been changed to the Hero Association headquarters in A City. Please come with us. We’ll personally escort you there.”

“Why is that?”

“It’s your Master’s decision…”

“Ah, my Master!” Saitama suddenly understood.

The middle-aged man who had come to

deliver the news smiled obsequiously: “Mr. Saitama, I had no idea your Master was such a big deal… Please follow me. We have a private jet ready. It’ll take about two hours to get there.”

Around noon.

Saitama finally arrived at the Hero Association headquarters in A City and met Chen Ye.

“Master!”

Seeing Chen Ye, Saitama was clearly excited.

Chen Ye nodded and said nothing.

Tatsumaki, however, openly scrutinized Saitama from head to toe, her eyes full of disdain.

“Mundo, this is your disciple?”

“Yes!” Chen Ye smiled and patted Saitama on the shoulder.

Tatsumaki looked at Saitama, unimpressed, and scoffed, “He just looks like an ordinary person with a plain face… Mundo, are you sure you’re not sending him to his death? I won’t hold back.”

“My disciple doesn’t need you to hold back.”

Chen Ye was brimming with confidence.

Saitama, meanwhile, was still somewhat confused.

Wasn’t this supposed to be a transfer to the main headquarters for testing?

Why did it seem like there was going to be a fight?

And also…

“Master, who’s this kid?” Saitama asked.

His question nearly caused Tatsumaki to explode on the spot…

“You idiot!! Who are you calling a kid?”

Tatsumaki hated when people mistook her for a child.

Chen Ye couldn’t help but chuckle. He quickly explained to Saitama, “Don’t speak so carelessly. This is Tatsumaki, ranked third among the S-Class heroes.”

“It’s *Tornado of Terror*!” Tatsumaki interrupted angrily, clearly displeased.

Mundo was infuriating as well.

How dare he only mention her name and not her full title!

“Alright, it’s *Tornado of Terror*.”

Chen Ye didn’t want to argue, especially with someone who had such a temperamental personality.

He then turned to Saitama and said, “The reason I called you here is that I believe you don’t need to waste time on those physical fitness tests.”

Saitama nodded in agreement.

At the Z City testing site, the physical fitness tests didn’t even allow him to fully showcase his strength.

“So, I’ve arranged for you to have an opponent to test your progress in combat!”

“I see!” Saitama immediately bowed to Chen Ye. “Thank you, Master, for going through all this trouble for me.”

Chen Ye smiled and patted Saitama’s shoulder again. “Make sure to perform well.”

“I won’t let you down, Master!!” Saitama said earnestly.

Seeing Saitama so serious, Chen Ye began to worry a little.

This naive kid… Could he end up taking Tatsumaki out with a single punch?

After a brief hesitation, Chen Ye gave Saitama a final piece of advice: “Remember to hold back a bit. Don’t kill her.”

“Huh? Got it, Master.”

Saitama quickly agreed, admiring Chen Ye’s compassionate nature even more. He thought to himself that his Master was truly kind-hearted.

On the side, Tatsumaki was getting angrier the more she listened!

This annoying Mundo… telling his disciple not to kill her?

Did he think that little of *Tornado of Terror*?

“Hmph! Who are you saying will get killed? I’m more likely to kill *him*!” Tatsumaki said indignantly. “Mundo, I won’t hold back against your disciple. You still have time to regret this!”

Chen Ye ignored Tatsumaki and just repeated his advice to Saitama: “Remember what I said.”

“Yes, Master!” Saitama responded eagerly.

The master and disciple continued their conversation, completely ignoring Tatsumaki, which made her even more furious.

Just as Tatsumaki was about to explode, the president hastily intervened to defuse the tension: “Why don’t you two have something to eat first and then have your match?”

“That won’t be necessary!” Tatsumaki snorted arrogantly. “I’ll defeat this bald guy and Mundo in an instant. We can eat after I’m done!”

Hearing this, the president didn’t dare say another word.

Twenty minutes later.

Everyone arrived at an empty lot on the outskirts of A City.

“Let’s have the fight here,” the president said with a smile. “There’s no one around here.”

Chen Ye didn’t mind. Saitama didn’t care either. Tatsumaki, however, seemed slightly bothered by how remote the location was, but she didn’t say anything.

Right now, she was focused solely on teaching the master-disciple duo a harsh lesson.

Before the fight began, Chen Ye suddenly turned to the president and said, “President, I hope this fight won’t attract too much attention.”

Chen Ye’s intention was to prevent any reincarnators from taking note.

The president, however, misinterpreted Chen Ye’s request, thinking that Mr. Mundo wasn’t confident in his disciple and was worried about losing face.

It made sense. After all, Tatsumaki was a force to be reckoned with.

There were very few people in the world who could go up against her!

With that in mind, the president smiled and said, “Don’t worry, Mr. Mundo. The fight will be recorded, but the footage will be classified as top-secret. Even the high-level executives won’t have access to it.”

“That’s good.”

“Hey! Have you finished chatting yet?”

Tatsumaki, on the other hand, was already growing impatient…
