GROIKTP Chapter 535

This entry is part 457 of 534 in the series Global Reincarnation: Only i Know the Plot

Genos thought he had misheard.

Did Master Saitama just say that he was too weak?

If even Master Saitama considered himself weak, then what did that make Genos? Did he even deserve to keep living?

Back when he fought Mosquito Girl, Genos had been pushed to the brink of self-destruction.

But Saitama had shown up just in time and obliterated Mosquito Girl with a single slap…

Such a powerful person, saying he was too weak?

“No! It’s not that Master is too weak; it’s that Master is far too strong!”

With this realization, Genos immediately looked toward Chen Ye, who had already moved over to where Tianwang was tinkering with some mechanical parts.

Seeing Tianwang fiddling with the parts, Chen Ye couldn’t help but frown and ask, “Tianwang, where did you get this?”

“Brother, you’re back.”

Tianwang smiled and pointed to Genos. “I took it from Genos.”

Chen Ye: “…”

No wonder Genos had been walking awkwardly, limping a bit.

It turned out that Tianwang had removed one of his components…

“Ridiculous! Why are you dismantling parts from Genos?” Chen Ye couldn’t help but scold, his tone slightly reprimanding.

Tianwang quickly lowered her head and quietly explained, “Genos said he wanted to get stronger, so I was just seeing if I could upgrade him a little…”

At that moment, Saitama and Genos had just walked over.

Genos nodded and said, “It’s true, Master, please don’t blame Tianwang.”

Well, if even the person affected didn’t mind, Chen Ye had no reason to be upset.

“Did you figure anything out?” Chen Ye asked Tianwang.

Tianwang replied seriously, “Genos’ mechanical body incorporates a lot of advanced technology that I’ve never seen before, so I couldn’t help him. But studying Genos has given me some great ideas for upgrading my own body… Brother, maybe someday, I’ll be able to help you fight!”

Chen Ye was surprised to hear this.

Even Saitama was a bit taken aback. Up until now, he hadn’t realized that his Master’s little sister was also a cyborg.

“Not bad!” Chen Ye smiled.

Tianwang added, “However, for me to upgrade, I’ll need quite a lot of materials…”

“Oh?” Chen Ye asked, “What materials do you need?”

Tianwang rattled off a long list of materials, none of which Chen Ye recognized.

Thankfully, Genos quickly spoke up. “These materials might be available at Dr. Kuseno’s lab. I’ll make a trip there and bring them back for Tianwang.”

Chen Ye responded, “That would be a big help, Genos. If you need any money, just let Dr. Kuseno know.”

With that, the plan was set.

Genos, being the impatient type, wasted no time. He turned and left to handle the task immediately.

After Genos left, Chen Ye called Saitama into the study.

“Master, is there something you need?” Saitama asked.

Chen Ye nodded. “Yes, there’s something I need you to take care of.”

Saitama straightened up with enthusiasm. “Master, please give me your orders.”

“It’s like this, Saitama,” Chen Ye began. “Do you remember where you lived three years ago?”

Hearing this, Saitama’s mind drifted back to three years prior.

“Three years ago… Master, are you referring to the apartment I rented?”

“I think so,” Chen Ye replied, unsure.

In the original storyline, it was never mentioned whether that little place was rented or owned by Saitama.

Saitama immediately nodded. “Of course, I remember.”

There was no way he could forget where he had lived.

“Good,” Chen Ye said. “Tomorrow, accompany me there.”

Saitama looked confused. “Master, is there something important about that place?”

“Yes.”

Chen Ye nodded, then began to explain, “Saitama, have you heard of the Monster Association?”

Saitama, ever the honest man, shook his head. “No, I haven’t…”

Well, of course not. The Saitama from the original story didn’t care about such things; all he cared about was supermarket discounts.

“A lot of monsters have appeared recently, attacking humans and causing many cities to fall. Most of these monsters come from the Monster Association. The giant centipede I killed three years ago was also one of their members.”

Chen Ye patiently explained, “Monsters are creatures filled with hatred for humanity. Whenever they see humans, their first instinct is to kill them. The Monster Association is their stronghold!”

Saitama, having a strong sense of justice, clenched his fists. “The Monster Association should be destroyed!”

“Exactly!” Chen Ye smiled and continued, “I’ve called you here because I want to assign you the task of destroying the Monster Association.”

Hearing this, Saitama was filled with determination.

He had a strong sense of justice, and as an S-Class hero, he was more than ready to take on the challenge.

“Don’t worry, Master. If I find the Monster Association, I’ll make sure to destroy them!”

“I’ve received intel that the Monster Association’s base might be located beneath the place where you used to live,” Chen Ye said calmly. “Tomorrow, I’ll go with you to check it out and see how you perform.”

That’s right!

Chen Ye had no intention of fighting the Monster King himself. He planned to let Saitama handle it.

It would be a waste not to use such a powerful fighter like Saitama.

When they encountered the Monster King, Chen Ye’s plan was to have Saitama beat him to the brink of death, and then Chen Ye would step in to finish the job and claim the kill.

The system’s task was to kill the monsters; it never said Chen Ye had to do it alone.

This same strategy would apply to the cosmic overlord Boros when the time came. Chen Ye didn’t plan to fight Boros directly either—he’d send Saitama in first.

Otherwise, Chen Ye’s current strength might not be enough to defeat Boros.

That guy had insane regenerative abilities!

In the original story, even after being pulverized by Saitama, Boros could regenerate instantly from just a single eye, his body reduced to shreds.

With such powerful healing, Chen Ye wouldn’t be able to kill him alone.

So his plan was to have Saitama wear Boros down, then Chen Ye would swoop in and finish him off.

This strategy was flawless!

Boros was doomed!!

Later that night.

Genos returned, bringing with him a large bag filled with various materials and parts.

Tianwang’s eyes lit up when she saw them, and she immediately started hauling everything into her room, eager to begin her work—even skipping dinner.

Chen Ye could only shake his head and sigh, giving her a gentle reminder. “Tianwang, take it easy. Don’t destroy the house!”

This villa was something Chen Ye planned to leave to Saitama once he was done in this world.

“Got it, Brother! You guys can go eat outside.”

Watching Tianwang’s retreating figure, Chen Ye mused to himself.

She was becoming more and more human…

Maybe once Tianwang’s upgrade was complete, he’d give her a normal name?
