- Global Reincarnation: Only I Know the Plot
- GROIKTP Chapter 559
“Son Goku, don’t be careless!”
Piccolo suddenly warned from within the group.
Clearly, Piccolo had noticed that Thanos was not just some small fry.
Son Goku had already taken up his Turtle School fighting stance, his gaze locked intently on Thanos. Without turning his head, he responded to Piccolo’s warning:
“Yeah, don’t worry, Piccolo! I won’t lose.”
“Tch!”
Vegeta scoffed, but in truth, his hands were itching for a fight.
The Saiyans were a battle-hungry race, always eager to fight when they encountered a powerful opponent…
“I’m coming at you now!”
As Son Goku’s words fell, his entire body shot forward like a red lightning bolt.
The speed was so fast that it created a visual blur.
In the next instant.
Son Goku appeared in front of Thanos, delivering a punch directly to his abdomen.
“Boom!”
The sound of the fist hitting flesh echoed out.
“Thump! Thump! Thump!”
The sheer force from Goku’s punch caused Thanos to stumble backward several steps before regaining his balance.
However.
Even this powerful strike wasn’t enough to truly hurt Thanos!
“Is this what gives you so much confidence?”
Thanos looked at Son Goku with a hint of mockery. “How disappointing.”
At this point, Son Goku could only transform into Super Saiyan 1, nowhere near his peak power.
With Thanos’s nearly invincible defense, Son Goku’s physical strength alone wasn’t enough to hurt him with just a probing punch.
Of course!
Thanos wasn’t as relaxed as he appeared.
Son Goku’s strength was comparable to the Hulk’s. That punch, though it didn’t cause any serious harm, did make Thanos’s blood churn.
If Goku kept landing punches like that, Thanos might end up coughing up blood…
“You really are strong!”
Seeing that Thanos remained unscathed, Son Goku’s expression became serious. “Looks like I’ll have to get serious too.”
As he said this, Goku charged toward Thanos again.
But this time, Thanos wasn’t foolish enough to take another hit.
As Goku rapidly closed the distance, Thanos clenched his fist, ready to counter…
…
“Boom!”
In the distance, it sounded as if a mountain was collapsing, producing a tremendous noise.
Chen Ye, Murong Chuxue, and the others were startled by the loud sound and turned their eyes toward the source.
“It sounds like there’s a battle going on over there.”
Murong Chuxue’s face turned serious. “If you listen closely, the tremors are continuous. It doesn’t seem like a landslide.”
Chen Ye nodded.
With his heightened mental strength and enhanced hearing, he could clearly pick up the sounds of the fight coming from ahead.
“Should we go check it out?” Zhichuang, the Zen Master, asked.
Everyone looked to Chen Ye, waiting for him to make the decision.
After a moment of thought, Chen Ye shook his head and said, “Better not get involved. That area is far from us, and we might encounter enemies along the way. Our main objective is to survive until the end!”
It was a sound rationale!
Everyone nodded in agreement.
However.
Even though Chen Ye wanted to avoid unnecessary risks, fate had other plans.
As they continued forward and reached a clearing, they suddenly encountered a group of people coming their way.
The group numbered around a dozen, mostly dressed in robes, with some bare-chested, wearing outfits resembling medieval Nordic styles.
With their blonde hair and blue eyes, they looked very much like Westerners.
Chen Ye found them oddly familiar…
“Shura, what should we do? Should we avoid them?” Murong Chuxue asked.
She supported Chen Ye’s strategy of surviving by keeping a low profile.
So, if they could avoid conflict, they should.
Chen Ye shook his head. “I don’t think that’s an option—they’ve already noticed us.”
Murong Chuxue followed Chen Ye’s gaze and realized the group was indeed walking straight toward them…
“Everyone, listen to my signal,” Chen Ye said quietly. “When I say ‘attack,’ do it without hesitation!”
“Understood!”
The group nodded in agreement.
Chen Ye then leaned toward Murong Yuling and whispered, “If a fight breaks out, stay back and protect yourself.”
Knowing she was the weakest among them, Murong Yuling didn’t argue. “I understand.”
Soon.
The opposing group arrived in front of Chen Ye and his companions.
“Mortals, where is this place?”
The leader spoke with a tone of superiority, his expression full of arrogance.
“Mortals?” Chen Ye’s expression turned strange. “Are you saying you’re not human?”
“How dare you!” a bearded man wielding a trident shouted. “Mortals, when in the presence of the great King of the Gods, you should kneel!”
“King of the Gods?”
Chen Ye finally recognized why they had seemed so familiar.
These people were the gods from Greek mythology!
“Are you Poseidon, the sea god?” Chen Ye asked, looking at the man with the trident.
Poseidon puffed up with pride and replied, “You know me? Are you one of my followers?”
Chen Ye smiled faintly, ignoring the question. Instead, he turned his attention to Zeus and said, “We don’t know where we are either. We woke up here just like you.”
Even as he spoke, Chen Ye was analyzing the situation internally:
*It seems we’re not the only ones whose powers are restricted. These gods must be affected too; otherwise, they’d probably be flying through the air rather than walking.*
Seeing that Chen Ye had ignored him, Poseidon became furious and shouted, “Mortals, your insolence will bring disaster upon you!”
“Enough, Poseidon!”
Zeus spoke up, casting an annoyed glance at his brother.
With the situation they were in, he wasn’t interested in petty formalities.
Turning his gaze back to Chen Ye and his group, Zeus asked, “How long have you been here? Have you discovered anything?”
“About half an hour, I’d say. As for discoveries… you’re the first people we’ve encountered,” Chen Ye replied.
“*Gods!*” Poseidon corrected.
Hearing Chen Ye’s response, Zeus looked deeply at the group, his gaze lingering a little longer on the Murong sisters.
“Since you’ve met us, mortals, consider yourselves fortunate. From now on, you will serve as our slaves, carrying out our commands. You will witness the glory of the gods!”
Zeus said this with a smile.
In his mind, these mortals would surely agree.
Serving the gods was undoubtedly a great honor for them.
However.
Zeus quickly noticed something was off.
The young man standing opposite him… his expression was growing colder.
He didn’t seem excited at all…
…
