GROIKTP Chapter 562

This entry is part 484 of 534 in the series Global Reincarnation: Only i Know the Plot

Hearing Vegeta’s words, Goku could only give a helpless smile.

The battle with Thanos had drained almost all of his strength, and he no longer had the energy to argue with Vegeta.

After making his declaration, Vegeta set his sights on Kaido. “I hope you won’t disappoint me!”

With that, Vegeta launched himself at Kaido, jumping high and aiming a punch right at Kaido’s face…

“Where did this pest come from? Get lost!”

Kaido roared, swinging his massive spiked club straight at Vegeta.

As the two began to fight, Krillin couldn’t help but groan.

“Are all Saiyans this impulsive? This is just…”

He was at a loss for words.

They had only just encountered each other, and yet they were already fighting.

Nearby, Piccolo suddenly took off his cloak, revealing his muscular physique.

Surprised, Krillin asked, “Piccolo, are you going to join in too?”

Piccolo glanced at the rest of the Beast Pirates, a sinister grin appearing on his face. “Since the fight has already started, there’s no need to hold back!”

With that, Piccolo charged toward the other members of the Beast Pirates.

Thanos and his group, witnessing this scene, were momentarily stunned.

What in the world…?

However.

This was also the perfect opportunity to leave.

“We should go!” Thanos said.

Gamora and Nebula remained silent, following Thanos as they quietly slipped away.

This encounter had cost Thanos dearly. His subordinates had all been killed by Vegeta.

There was no reasoning with the battle-crazed Saiyans!

Not long after Thanos’s departure, the Beast Pirates…

Were completely wiped out!!

Vegeta and Piccolo alone took down the entire main force of the Beast Pirates.

Kaido died the most gruesome death.

Half of his skull had been obliterated by Vegeta…

With his powers restricted, Kaido was no match for a Saiyan, even relying on pure physical strength.

“Hmph! I thought he’d be stronger…”

Looking down at Kaido’s corpse, Vegeta snorted disdainfully.

Suddenly.

It was as if something clicked in Vegeta’s mind, and he turned his gaze to another direction.

But the area was already empty.

“Damn it!” Vegeta cursed. “He got away!!”

The one Vegeta was referring to was, of course, Thanos.

Compared to Kaido, Thanos was a much worthier opponent.

In the distance.

As Thanos trudged onward, he suddenly stumbled, almost falling to the ground.

Gamora quickly rushed to his side to support him. “Father, let’s rest for a while.”

Thanos nodded, sitting down on a large rock with Gamora’s help.

Once seated, Thanos’s face grew grim.

To be honest, everything still felt surreal to him!

One moment, he was inexplicably transported to this strange place. The next, he found himself in a fight with a bunch of battle maniacs, leading to heavy losses for him.

All his “Black Order” subordinates were dead.

Even Thanos himself was seriously injured!

“Father!” Nebula frowned as she asked, “Where exactly are we?”

Thanos’s face darkened.

That was the question he wanted an answer to as well…

“I believe we’ve been caught up in some kind of conspiracy,” Thanos said slowly.

“A conspiracy?” Gamora looked puzzled.

Thanos continued, “It seems that we’ve been summoned here by some powerful entity using special means. The purpose, it seems, is to force everyone here to fight to the death and determine the ultimate victor!”

There was no denying Thanos’s intelligence. As one of the universe’s most feared rulers, his wisdom was extraordinary.

In just a short amount of time, he had already pieced together the situation with remarkable accuracy.

Hearing Thanos’s theory, both Nebula and Gamora appeared shocked.

The idea that someone could use such means to summon countless powerful beings and force them to fight to the death…

That kind of power was terrifying!

“Father, what kind of being could achieve something like this?” Nebula asked in horror.

She had followed Thanos on countless conquests and was well aware of the existence of immensely powerful beings in the universe—some so strong they were practically gods.

But!!

Even with all her experience, Nebula struggled to imagine what kind of entity could pull off something like this.

Hearing Nebula’s question, Thanos’s expression became even more grim.

Throughout his life, Thanos had encountered many true gods, including cosmic entities like Galactus and the Death Goddess. But even among those, none seemed capable of something like this.

Could it be…

The legendary “Celestials” who were behind this?

At that moment.

Chen Ye and his group had just finished bypassing the forest and were heading toward the center of the island.

“It looks like it’s almost noon.”

Chen Ye glanced at the sun before saying, “Let’s find a place to rest for a bit, eat something, and regain our strength.”

The others nodded in agreement.

Since this was a dangerous battleground similar to *PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds*, it was crucial to conserve energy.

If they encountered danger while exhausted, it would put them at a severe disadvantage.

Soon after.

The group found an empty house to rest in and eat.

There wasn’t much food, so each person only got a small portion, just enough to stave off hunger. Getting full was out of the question.

Chen Ye instructed Murong Chuxue and a few others to eat first, while he and the rest kept watch. After they finished, they would switch.

Even though the area seemed desolate, Chen Ye remained cautious.

Everyone else appreciated this careful approach.

After eating lunch, the group rested for a while and searched a few nearby houses before continuing onward.

In an open area, they unexpectedly encountered three figures.

When Murong Chuxue saw the leader—a giant purple-skinned figure—her expression immediately grew serious.

“Shura, that’s Thanos from the *Avengers* dungeon! He’s a very powerful figure… no, more like a god.”

Murong Chuxue whispered.

Chen Ye nodded.

In truth, he knew much more about the *Marvel* universe than Murong Chuxue, and he understood Thanos well.

As Chen Ye’s group spotted Thanos, Thanos, Gamora, and Nebula also noticed them.

On this barren island, most of the terrain was flat plains with little cover.

Unlike in battle royale games, where hiding was possible, here there was no place to lie low and ambush others.

Perhaps the system had designed the location this way to ensure that everyone could easily find their opponents and engage in combat…
