GTA Chapter 150

This entry is part 151 of 236 in the series Online Game: God Tier Assasin, I am The Shadow!

Qin Feng checked his inventory and examined the Epic-tier Mount Bell that gleamed with golden light:

—-

[Mount Bell (Bone Sword Wyvern – Predator King Osirio)]

Effect: Upon use, summons the Predator King Osirio (Level 20), a mount capable of combat and flight. Requires Level 20. (Soul-bound, non-tradable.)

Epic Tier: Ten thousand years ago, the city of Squeam was annihilated by predators from the skies. Millions of humans perished, and the culprits felt no remorse.

—-

Though it was still a Bone Sword Wyvern, this was no ordinary member of the species—it was the Predator King of its kind.

Unlike lower-tier mounts, Epic-tier mounts are unique, possessing their own names and a degree of intelligence. Even if another player achieved the Perfect Completion of the same challenge, they wouldn’t receive this specific mount.

“Osirio…” Qin Feng muttered, unfamiliar with the name.

In his previous life, no one had completed the Perfect Challenge for the Spirit of Bones. This was uncharted territory.

He stowed the Mount Bell for now and turned his attention to the Bone Rune in his inventory.

—-

[Bone Rune]: A key to the Tomb of the Bone God. Collect three to access the Bone God’s Ruins.

—-

The Bone God was one of the fallen Ancient Gods, akin to the Calamity Ancient God. Seeing this rune jogged Qin Feng’s memory.

In his past life, he had collected three Judgment Runes to unlock the ruins of the Judgment Ancient God, where he eventually acquired the Eye of the Judgment Ancient God.

However, the journey was fraught with difficulty.

He spent years searching for the ruins’ location.

He died dozens of times before reaching the core of the tomb.

“Not all Ancient God tombs guarantee relics of power,” Qin Feng recalled.

Some players in his previous life had ventured into other tombs of fallen Ancient Gods, coming away with valuable loot but no divine relics. Qin Feng’s acquisition of a relic had triggered a global server announcement—proof that such treasures were exceedingly rare.

Twenty minutes later, Qin Feng emerged from the ruins into the desolate wastelands surrounding them. Being a high-level zone, there were no other players in sight.

Without hesitation, he pulled out the Mount Bell and gave it a shake.

Before Qin Feng, a massive Bone Sword Wyvern materialized, its skeletal body stretching over 12 meters long with a 20-meter wingspan. Its wings were adorned with feather-like bone blades, which could detach as projectiles or slice enemies in melee combat.

Its size dwarfed the largest pterosaurs of Earth’s prehistoric era. Yet, despite its bulk, the wyvern was sleek and aerodynamic, clearly built for speed and agility.

Bone Sword Wyverns were natural masters of wind elemental power, making flight instinctual despite their weight.

“Impressive. Truly a Predator King,” Qin Feng remarked, eyeing the creature.

Standing before the towering wyvern, Qin Feng was a mere speck. The wyvern’s streamlined body, reinforced bone talons, razor-sharp teeth, and glowing green flames in its eyes exuded an aura of lethal grace.

As Qin Feng studied it, the wyvern observed him in turn, its piercing gaze full of intelligence.

The creature lowered its head to meet Qin Feng’s gaze, letting out a deep, guttural growl.

“Human assassin… I’ve slaughtered millions of your kind,” it rumbled.

As an Epic-tier mount, Osirio possessed intelligence, and its ability to speak was no surprise.

Qin Feng, unfazed, replied nonchalantly, “And what does that have to do with me?”

The Predator King let out a raspy, mocking laugh. “Good… very good. Human assassin, you are one of my kind.”

“Cut the chatter,” Qin Feng said curtly. “Let’s see what you can do.”

He stepped forward to inspect the wyvern’s stats.

[Bone Sword Wyvern – Predator King Osirio (Level 20)]

Grade: Epic (Soul-bound, non-tradable)

Strength: 849

Constitution: 945

Agility: 1,085

Spirit: 1,152

Health: 114,000

Skills:

Sky Sovereign: While mounted, increases flight speed by 360%.

Bone Sword Plume: Fires 18 bone feathers in rapid succession, dealing physical damage to a single target. Cooldown: 20 seconds.

Bone Sword Barrage: Unleashes a volley of bone feathers to deal AoE physical damage. Cooldown: 120 seconds.

Perpetual Cyclone: Summons a whirlwind, inflicting sustained wind-element damage in a large area. Cooldown: 600 seconds.

Bone Shield: Creates a shield equivalent to 100% of Osirio’s health using bone feathers. Cooldown: 60 seconds.

Predator King: Summons 12 Bone Sword Wyverns (Jade Tier). Cooldown: 3,600 seconds.

“That Perpetual Cyclone isn’t just a windstorm,” Qin Feng joked. “It’s a full-on dragon-scale blender.”

The stats confirmed Osirio’s status as a top-tier mount:

-Balanced offensive and defensive abilities.

-A massive flight speed boost, calculated at up to 450 meters per second—faster than the speed of sound.

Of course, as a mount, its stats couldn’t rival those of an actual boss of the same tier. For example:

-A Level 20 Epic-tier boss would typically have over 10 million HP, while Osirio had only 114,000.

Nonetheless, mounts in Forsaken World could be resummoned after death with a cooldown of 3,600 seconds (1 hour). This made Osirio’s temporary loss far less punishing than a player’s.

Osirio’s Predator King skill added further versatility. Summoning 12 flying Bone Sword Wyverns would grant Qin Feng unparalleled aerial reconnaissance.

Additionally, the wyverns could be used creatively, much like his Devout Follower ability—a low-tier summon he had exploited to maximum effect.

“Not bad,” Qin Feng said with a smirk. “Let’s take off.”

Qin Feng leapt onto Osirio’s back and activated Meld into Darkness.

The Level 21 stealth ability not only cloaked Qin Feng but also extended to his mount, rendering both invisible.

For the Predator King, this was an unprecedented experience.

“I’m… invisible? At Level 21 stealth?!”

Its massive body trembled with disbelief. “I’m only Level 20—how is this possible?”

If the wyvern could express itself further, it would have let out a resounding, “What in the world…?!”

In the end, all the Predator King could do was utter a single thought that encapsulated its awe: “6.”
