GTA Chapter 168

This entry is part 169 of 236 in the series Online Game: God Tier Assasin, I am The Shadow!

Upon realizing Qin Feng’s intentions, Late Night Light Rain felt a chill down her spine.

This “Shadow” truly embodied the principle of absolute retribution.

“Understood. I will report your words to the higher-ups,” she said respectfully, bowing slightly. “Let’s log off for now. Once I get the information, I’ll contact you through the Communication Crystal.”

The Communication Crystal was an artifact created through the Divine Crafting Book, worn on the wrist. It allowed players to communicate via voice, text, or video in real life—much like a phone, but with one critical advantage:

It couldn’t be tracked.

“Let’s go,” Qin Feng said simply, logging off immediately.

The idea of eliminating the root wasn’t entirely Qin Feng’s invention.

In his previous life, after the tragedy in Modu, Daxia had been unable to take direct action against the flight carrying Theodore and his team due to political constraints.

But this didn’t mean Daxia did nothing.

By the time Theodore and his group landed half a day later, they were met with devastating news:

All six of them, spread across different cities in North America, had their families—children, parents, siblings—massacred by unknown assailants.

Though the North American authorities protected Theodore’s team heavily afterward, allowing them to grow stronger, the question remained:

Was it truly a victory for them?

This time, however, Qin Feng intended to ensure their loss was absolute.

Qin Feng logged off.

Most of his skills had already been synchronized to reality, thanks to his abundant lifespan.

Now, he synchronized his level, class, bloodline, and several useful abilities.

The only thing he couldn’t sync was his in-game equipment.

—-

He then spent 157.6 years of lifespan to extract the Witch Apostle’s Tear of Livia (Epic-tier) necklace.

—-

This boosted all his skill levels by 7.

Finally, he extracted the Osirio Mount Bell, costing a staggering 1,617 years of lifespan.

“Ridiculous, it’s like a gold-eating beast,” Qin Feng grumbled.

The mount bell extraction cost ten times that of equivalent equipment. Considering the necklace cost 157 years, the 1,617-year cost of Osirio’s bell wasn’t surprising.

Even with nearly 3,000 years of tradeable lifespan, Qin Feng’s reserve dwindled to less than 1,000 years after his operations.

“No wonder it’s Epic-tier equipment…”

“In my last life, we didn’t even touch gear like this until four or five years in. Now I’m only level 20 and already have it.”

The rapid progression came with its price: the exponential consumption of lifespan far outpaced anything he experienced in his previous life.

Qin Feng exited the Sanctuary of Purification and emerged on Modu’s eastern shore.

Standing on the beach, he rang the mount bell, summoning Osirio.

Shrouded in darkness, Qin Feng and Osirio entered stealth mode simultaneously.

The Boneblade Wyvern—Predator King Osirio now stood under the blazing midday sun.

Osirio’s green eyes narrowed.

“Human assassin, so this is your world? This sunlight feels… comfortable. Pity it won’t last, just like my own world…”

Qin Feng remained silent.

He understood.

Osirio’s world differed vastly from Blue Star.

Blue Star was a “civilized world”, while Osirio’s was a “wild world”.

Unlike Blue Star’s structured society, wild worlds followed harsh jungle rules—pure survival of the fittest.

The monsters from Godforsaken Game’s continent of divine abandonment were drawn from such wild worlds.

Low-tier monsters were mass-cloned as respawning fodder for players, with little intelligence beyond survival instincts.

However, at Epic-tier and above, the game reversed: the monsters became sentient, calculating, and terrifying.

Osirio wasn’t just a creature—it had destroyed cities and killed millions of human players during its reign as an Epic-tier boss.

Monsters of this level remembered their deeds vividly and carried the cunning of predators.

As wild or civilized worlds fell under the game’s influence, they succumbed to creeping desolation.

Suns, moons, stars—all faded into nothingness, swallowed by the encroaching void.

The purple Communication Crystal on Qin Feng’s wrist began to glow.

Late Night Light Rain: “Master, I’ve sent you the flight route. Please check.”
Shadow: “Got it.”

Qin Feng tapped the crystal, viewing the map sent by Late Night Light Rain. He mounted Osirio, ready to depart.

“Approximately 500 kilometers away.”

“Shouldn’t take more than twenty minutes.”

The sky above was clear and boundless.

Following the flight path, Qin Feng and Osirio accelerated to supersonic speed.

“What’s Theodore’s expression right now?” Qin Feng mused.

“They tried to trap us, but instead, I took the global Diamond-tier first kill right out from under them.”

A smirk tugged at his lips.

His original plan had been to push the Soul Walker into the boss’s area, letting the boss kill them all.

The resulting nightmare mechanic would have forced them to die in agony.

But Sun Xing’s interference had changed everything.

Even so, Qin Feng deliberately held back from killing Theodore and his group earlier.

—-

First reason: Killing them would’ve accomplished nothing—they would’ve revived, and he’d still need to deal with them in reality.

Second reason: If killed near the boss, their lifespans would’ve been absorbed, giving them a painless death.

—-

Instead, he decided to save them for later—where their deaths would be slow and personal.

Fifteen minutes later, the invisible Osirio soared thousands of meters above the clouds, finally catching up to a Colombia Airlines flight.

Osirio squinted at the plane. “What’s that thing? It’s even bigger than me!”

Having adapted quickly to Blue Star, Osirio now referred to itself as “this king.”

Qin Feng chuckled. “That’s an airplane, built by humans.”

“Impressive,” Osirio said. “I thought your word for ‘airplane’ referred to some giant flying chicken.”

Qin Feng sighed. “If anything, you’re the flying chicken.”

With an explosive burst of speed, Osirio closed the gap.

“Size doesn’t matter,” Osirio boasted. “This king is still faster!”

Qin Feng quipped, “Small and fast, huh?”

“Shut up!”

High above the clouds, Qin Feng and Osirio reached the aircraft.

Qin Feng leaped off Osirio’s back, activating Invisible Steps to erase his physical collision.

The skill, capable of phasing through walls, had been brought into reality for this moment.

Cloaked in stealth, Qin Feng passed through the plane’s exterior and landed silently in the rear cabin.

He disabled Invisible Steps to prevent himself from falling through the floor.

Inside, the cabin was abuzz with chatter in various languages, most of it centered on the recent Diamond-tier boss first kill.

Seated across two rows, Theodore and his team looked pale and tense.

Suddenly, a voice whispered in Theodore’s ear:

“Hey, brother. Interested in some hacks?”

???

Theodore’s hair stood on end.

The voice was unmistakable.

It was Shadow.

But how?!

“The bastard just killed a Diamond-tier boss… how the hell is he on our plane?! Even if he could fly, how could he get in silently?!”
