GTA Chapter 34

This entry is part 35 of 236 in the series Online Game: God Tier Assasin, I am The Shadow!

For Qin Feng, it didn’t really matter where he farmed monsters.

Arriving at **Firefly Town** and taking out Song Fei a few times was like killing two birds with one stone…

Even though he couldn’t completely eliminate that guy, he could still kill him enough to force him offline, providing the perfect opportunity to finish him off later!

“Also, I remember Gu Yixue is in Firefly Town too.”

“Maybe I’ll run into her…”

Gu Yixue, known by her alias ‘Snowy Day’, was one of the administrators of the **Slayer Guild** in Qin Feng’s previous life. Her profession was **White Bird Priest**!

White Bird Priest was a powerful hidden class within the Priest category. It came with a white bird companion that could assist in healing and apply buffs.

Although Qin Xiaoyou also had a hidden class, **Life Priestess**, she was nothing more than a pampered princess who didn’t know much about combat.

In the previous life, Qin Xiaoyou had always stayed behind Qin Feng, only healing and buffing him while relying on his protection.

But Gu Yixue, on the other hand, had once soloed an epic-tier boss!

She was Qin Feng’s right-hand woman.

“If I run into her, I’ll recruit her into Wang Meng’s team.”

If Gu Yixue joined the team, it would naturally push Qin Xiaoyou—another Priest—out of the lineup!

Qin Feng couldn’t afford any variables during his development, and Qin Xiaoyou was one such variable.

Simply put, Qin Feng didn’t care what happened to her, as long as she stayed out of his way!

Plus, bringing this up would allow him to gauge Wang Meng’s reaction.

In this life, Qin Feng had developed so rapidly that he was still unsure of the current attitude of the official players, so this would be a chance to observe as well…

**Firefly Town**.

This was a starting town within the Jianghai Region.

Using up his free daily teleport, Qin Feng arrived silently and unnoticed, hidden in **Stealth**.

Compared to the bustling Shell Town, Firefly Town was much quieter.

Though there were still many players coming and going, it wasn’t crowded.

Some players were shouting, setting up stalls in the square, while others appeared in flashes of white light at the town center—those who had just been resurrected, their faces clearly not in the best of moods…

Qin Feng wandered around the town.

He didn’t see Song Fei or Gu Yixue.

Just then, he overheard a conversation between a few players who had just been revived.

“Let’s hurry back before someone else steals the kill! That silver-tier boss has less than half its HP left!”

“Damn it. That bastard Song Fei dragged a whole bunch of girls along with him—who can even compete with that?”

“Seriously, he’s just a minor celebrity! How does he have so many brainless fangirls?”

“Whatever, I’m not backing down. I’m going to take down that pretty boy today if it’s the last thing I do!”

The players angrily muttered to each other as they headed out of town.

Qin Feng was intrigued.

“Oh? A lead.”

“So, Song Fei is out there fighting a silver-tier boss? And he’s got a bunch of fangirls with him?”

Qin Feng’s lips curled into a smirk.

He could imagine that if Shadow hadn’t appeared and Qin Xiaoyou had arrived in Firefly Town, she would likely have been one of those fangirls.

Song Fei…

He didn’t have a hidden class but had arrogantly chosen the **Mage** class.

With the support of a swarm of fangirls, he had risen quickly in the early stages, but in the mid-game, his potential would fall short, let alone in the late game…

In the previous life, it was somehow revealed that Qin Xiaoyou, sister of the globally ranked Qin Feng, had once been a fan of Song Fei.

But this time around, Qin Feng wasn’t going to let Song Fei enjoy such success.

First, he would kill him until he was forced offline.

Then, after extracting abilities into reality, he would assassinate him directly!

Qin Feng followed the group of angry players out of the town.

Remaining in **Stealth**, he would find a hidden spot to refresh his invisibility whenever it was about to wear off.

After leaving town, they entered a dimly lit forest.

Soon, they arrived at a sinister-looking valley.

“This is **Wailing Valley**, the level-5 monster spawn area.”

“The monsters here should be **Flamebearers** and **Shackled Ones**.”

Flamebearers were ranged attackers with powerful fire element attacks, though their combat style was simple—they just threw fireballs.

As for Shackled Ones, they were melee monsters bound in chains, attacking with vicious bites since their hands and feet were restrained.

Both types of monsters had disturbingly warped facial features.

Some players were even too scared to face these grotesque monsters, getting spooked to the point of tears…

Before long, as Qin Feng entered the sinister valley, he heard a lot of shouting and swearing from players.

Among them were a lot of female voices, sounding young but cursing fiercely.

Qin Feng quietly approached…

He soon spotted, at the center of the valley, a **Two-Headed Flamebearer**—a towering creature over three meters tall—spewing blood-red flames in all directions!

This Two-Headed Flamebearer was a silver-tier boss.

Its three-meter-tall body was engulfed in blood-red flames, both heads devoid of eyes, with mouths split wide open in a crazed grin.

It had four arms, each one ablaze with fire, capable of attacking four targets simultaneously!

Around the boss, quite a few players were attacking it.

But the players were also attacking each other!

At the center of the chaos, surrounded by a swarm of fangirls, was Song Fei, dressed in a black robe, holding a staff, and looking extremely self-satisfied.

His in-game alias was Heaven-Defying Mage, ridiculously pretentious…

But that only made his fangirls even more obsessed.

Several players tried to attack Song Fei, but his fangirls shielded him, treating him like their Song Fei Brother, sacrificing themselves without hesitation to protect him.

The valley floor was littered with player corpses—some belonging to his fangirls, others to players who had tried to attack him.

Meanwhile, Song Fei, along with five other fangirls in his party, continued attacking the silver-tier boss, the Two-Headed Flamebearer.

That’s right.

All six members of Song Fei’s party were mages…

Tanks? Priests?

Sorry, he didn’t need them!

The fangirls around him were his living walls!

As for healing? He didn’t even take damage—why would he need a priest?

Since entering *Godforsakens*, all Song Fei needed to do was cast spells, kill monsters, and rake in experience and lifespan!
