- MWM Chapter 158
“Let’s hear about this deal. If it truly satisfies me, there will be no problem,” Orochimaru said, his expression revealing a genuine interest.
At least one thing was clear to him so far—this young prince had a wealth of valuable information in his head.
Leo drank the tea in his cup and then looked at Orochimaru, saying:
“I know you want Sasuke’s body to gain the powerful Sharingan like Uchiha Itachi’s. And it so happens that I know some information about the Sharingan, as well as the Rinnegan of the Akatsuki leader, Pain.”
“You even know about the Akatsuki’s information? That’s quite unexpected,” Orochimaru’s eyes flashed with a sharp glint.
Leo only smiled slightly:
“I told you, I know far more than you might imagine. I have detailed information on every single official member of the Akatsuki, including their ultimate goals and more.
This means our cooperation can be long-term, and you absolutely won’t be at a disadvantage.”
“Very well, what do you want from me in return?” Orochimaru asked, his tone tinged with curiosity.
A wealthy prince with so many secrets and strange jutsu—what could he possibly want from Orochimaru? This intrigued him greatly.
“Ninjutsu. I want two of the jutsu you created,” Leo replied.
Orochimaru paused for about three seconds:
“It seems we are indeed of the same kind. I can agree, but it depends on the value of your information. After all, the jutsu I create are not comparable to ordinary ninjutsu.”
Previously, Leo had traded for information about the Scroll of Seals, and now he was asking for Orochimaru’s original jutsu. It seemed that, like Orochimaru, Leo was also obsessed with ninjutsu.
Leo nodded; what he wanted most right now was Orochimaru’s Soft Physique Modification technique. The rest could wait.
This technique likely didn’t hold as much value for Orochimaru, at least not compared to techniques like Living Corpse Reincarnation. Leo believed Orochimaru wouldn’t refuse, especially considering the value of the information he was offering.
“First, let’s talk about the Sharingan. You probably know most of the details, including the process of awakening it. But there’s one thing you might not know—the ultimate form of the Sharingan isn’t the Mangekyō Sharingan; it’s the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.”
“This is the first time I’ve heard of that,” Orochimaru’s eyes narrowed.
He had always thought the Mangekyō Sharingan was the pinnacle of the Uchiha clan’s power, as demonstrated by figures like the former clan leader, the famous Shisui of the Body Flicker, and the Uchiha Itachi who had once defeated him.
But the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan was something he hadn’t found in Konoha’s records.
“Although the Mangekyō Sharingan is immensely powerful, it also takes a heavy toll on the body. Prolonged use not only exhausts the body but eventually leads to total blindness, which is why it’s also known as the ‘Cursed Eye.’
The Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, however, not only surpasses the Mangekyō in power but also doesn’t place any burden on the body, allowing it to be used indefinitely.
Throughout the history of the ninja world, only the legendary Uchiha Madara has been known to awaken the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.
It was precisely because of the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan that Uchiha Madara was able to rival the First Hokage. As for how to awaken the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan…”
At this point, Leo deliberately paused, leaving the rest unsaid.
Orochimaru, clearly intrigued by this information, asked even though he knew Leo was doing it on purpose:
“Do you know how to awaken the Eternal Mangekyō?”
“Of course. Do you think this information is valuable, senior?” Leo replied with a smile.
Orochimaru grinned:
“Extremely valuable, if it’s true.”
“The method to awaken the Eternal Mangekyō isn’t that difficult. It requires transplanting another pair of Mangekyō Sharingan, merging them to create the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.
However, there’s one important thing to keep in mind—the closer the blood relation, the higher the success rate. Uchiha Madara, for instance, transplanted his brother’s eyes.”
Seeing Orochimaru’s evident excitement, Leo continued:
“And if you want to obtain the Rinnegan, a power even stronger than the Sharingan, like the Sage of Six Paths, you need to fuse the extreme Yin Release of the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan with the extreme Yang Release of Wood Release. After decades of gestation, this might give birth to the powerful Rinnegan!”
“According to what you’re saying, how did Pain obtain the Rinnegan? He’s not an Uchiha,” Orochimaru questioned, showing a hint of doubt, possibly trying to probe Leo further.
Leo didn’t mind answering:
“Pain isn’t an Uchiha, so those eyes don’t belong to him. Someone else transplanted their eyes into him.”
“You’re saying… Uchiha Madara! Impossible. Everyone knows he was killed by the First Hokage at the Valley of the End,” Orochimaru quickly deduced.
Orochimaru was sharp. Given Leo’s information, he immediately thought of Uchiha Madara. After all, Leo had mentioned that only Madara had the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, so he was the only one capable of evolving it into the Rinnegan.
But this would imply that Madara didn’t die at the Valley of the End, contradicting history.
According to Konoha’s records, the Second Hokage personally handled Madara’s corpse, leaving no suspicious details.
“Senior, aren’t you aware that the Sharingan has a forbidden technique called Izanagi, which allows the user to revive at the cost of one eye?
And do you think, given the Second Hokage’s nature, he wouldn’t have kept Madara’s body for research?”
Leo’s questions left Orochimaru momentarily stunned, and he quickly realized that Leo’s claims were likely true.
Orochimaru knew the Second Hokage’s character well—he was a ninja obsessed with researching and developing forbidden techniques, much like Orochimaru himself.
He thought about it: if he were in the Second Hokage’s position, would he bury Madara’s body according to the First Hokage’s orders? Impossible.
The corpse of the most powerful Uchiha was the best material for studying the Sharingan. He wouldn’t have let it be buried.
Likewise, there was no way the Second Hokage would have done so, indicating that the historical record was indeed flawed.
“So, is Uchiha Madara still alive? And why would he give his evolved Rinnegan to Pain?”
“Ah, that information isn’t part of this deal. It comes at a separate price. Once you’ve paid for this information, if we have another opportunity to cooperate, I can provide you with that information as well,” Leo replied, shrugging.
