- In Marvel: I Start by Marrying Scarlett Witch [Complete]
- MWM Chapter 263
After finishing his call to Coulson, Leo cast the Disillusionment Charm to hide his presence and then apparated above Skye’s van, which hadn’t driven far from the neighborhood.
With a swift movement, a pair of wings made entirely of flying swords spread out from his back, allowing him to easily follow her from above.
In just two months, Leo had used his shadow clones to “cheat” and finish refining all ten thousand flying swords, assembling his personal sword wings. Normally, with his current strength, he could only refine one small flying sword per day, meaning it would have taken him 27 years of uninterrupted work to complete them all.
However, thanks to his shadow clone technique, he didn’t need all 2,000 clones to focus on refining swords—just 1,000 clones could refine 200 swords per day. In less than two months, he had completed the task.
This demonstrated how some seemingly modest abilities from one world could work wonders when applied in another.
So far, he had unlocked three worlds: the Naruto ninja world, the wizarding world of *Fantastic Beasts*, and the Xianxia world of *Shushan Chronicles*.
In terms of pure combat power, the Xianxia world undoubtedly ranked the highest. Even without considering the higher realms, someone like Daoist Baimei or the Blood Demon of Youquan—both Earth Immortal-level beings—could easily sweep through the first two worlds.
Yet, the unique techniques from the Naruto world and the rules-touching magic from the wizarding world held immense power as well. For example, using the Shadow Clone Jutsu to assist in refining artifacts had saved him 27 years. This method would also help him learn magic, Daoist arts, or anything else in the future, drastically reducing the time required.
There were also other powerful abilities, such as the Edo Tensei, Orochimaru’s body-switching technique, and the Eight Gates Formation.
And let’s not forget the wizarding world’s magic. Even lower-level wizards could wield spells related to time, space, and souls—domains that typically require immense power to control.
Every world had its unique value. Combining the strengths of these worlds and utilizing them effectively had allowed Leo to reach his current level of power in just a few short years.
“Efficient as always,” Leo muttered to himself.
Within half an hour, he saw Coulson and a few S.H.I.E.L.D. agents surround Skye’s van and throw a bewildered Skye into a black hood before taking her away.
Leo followed them to a secret S.H.I.E.L.D. base in New York. After watching Coulson interrogate Skye and leave the room, Leo leaned casually against the corner of the interrogation room and slowly revealed himself.
“So, Skye, have you reconsidered my offer?”
“What?! How are you here?” Skye gasped, clearly shocked to see Leo materialize in the corner while her hands were still cuffed.
Leo raised his hand with a smile and said, “I’m the one who called S.H.I.E.L.D. to catch you. As much as I dislike them, as a law-abiding citizen, it’s my duty to report criminals, don’t you think?”
“I knew it was you! How else could they have caught me so quickly?” Skye glared at Leo, gritting her teeth.
She had hacked into S.H.I.E.L.D. multiple times before, always running circles around them. They had never been able to track her down. But this time, just half an hour after leaving the neighborhood, S.H.I.E.L.D. caught her. It wasn’t hard to connect the dots to Leo.
But what puzzled her was why he let her go earlier, only to have her captured by S.H.I.E.L.D. later. What was his game?
Sensing her confusion, Leo chuckled. “You have two choices now.
First, agree to my previous offer and work for me. Not only will I help you find your parents, but I’ll also get you out of here.
Second, refuse me, and you’ll face the consequences for hacking into S.H.I.E.L.D.’s system. They’ll throw you in prison, and who knows? Maybe they’ll use you for experiments, take your eyes, or chop off your arms. After all, you know how inhumane these secret agencies can be.
I’m not one to force anyone, so if you choose the second option, I’ll disappear right now.”
Skye gulped nervously. She hadn’t faced anything this serious before, and the situation was making her anxious. While she didn’t think S.H.I.E.L.D. would experiment on her, being locked in prison for ten or more years seemed highly possible.
“You said you can find my parents?”
“Of course. Finding your parents is a simple task for a powerful sorcerer like me,” Leo responded confidently.
Skye thought for a moment before finally nodding. “Alright, I agree—if you can help me find my parents.”
A hero who had saved the world from an alien invasion and was known for his good deeds in New York—the words of someone like that held a lot of credibility. Plus, she didn’t really have another option. Refusing him would mean spending years in prison.
“Good choice. *Release!*” Leo cast a spell, unlocking Skye’s handcuffs, and pulled her up from the chair.
Skye rubbed her stiff wrists and asked, “So, how do we get out of here?”
“How else? We walk out, of course,” Leo replied with a smirk, casting an unlocking charm that opened the heavy, locked door. Immediately, alarms blared throughout the base.
“Isn’t this a bit too bold?” Skye asked, her voice tinged with worry as the piercing alarms rang in her ears.
She had assumed that Leo would use magic to sneak them out, not walk out in broad daylight, especially since she’d seen plenty of guards with guns when she was brought in.
But Leo didn’t seem concerned. He opened the door and said, “There’s no one in this world who can imprison my people without my consent. Not S.H.I.E.L.D., not the government.”
With his current strength, Leo was practically invincible, aside from beings like the Ancient One or Odin.
If you divided Marvel’s power levels into planetary, Galaxy, single-universe, multiverse, omniverse, and beyond, Leo was at the pinnacle of the planetary level.
Because of this, he now followed his own moral compass, unbound by the rules of society. His subordinates were subject only to his judgment—no institution or law had the authority to judge or punish them. That was his rule.
In other words: *my rules are the rules.*
