- In Marvel: I Start by Marrying Scarlett Witch [Complete]
- MWM Chapter 28
After scaling the ten-meter-high wall, Leo formed hand seals and transformed into the appearance of Obadiah Stane. He then casually walked towards the villa.
Encountering patrolling guards along the way, he didn’t try to avoid them. The guards, seeing who they thought was their boss taking a late-night stroll, paid him little attention.
He walked up to the villa’s entrance and easily used Obadiah’s facial recognition to unlock the smart lock, entering the villa.
In the second-floor bedroom, seeing the already asleep Obadiah Stane, Leo took out a tranquilizer spray and gave a few quick bursts to his face, putting him into a deep unconscious state. He wrapped him in a bedsheet, carried him downstairs, and dropped him by the door.
Leo then waved over a patrolling guard. “Go to the garage and bring a car over!”
The guard hesitated for a moment but then nodded and ran off to the garage. Shortly after, a valuable SUV was parked in front of Leo.
Dismissing the guard, he tossed the bound Obadiah into the back seat and drove the SUV to the villa gate. Seeing Obadiah driving, the guard at the gate promptly opened it.
“I’ll be out for a few days. If anyone comes looking for me, tell them to wait until I return,” Leo instructed through the lowered car window before speeding away.
Only Obadiah knew the exact location of the terrorists who had kidnapped Tony Stark. Perhaps even he didn’t know the exact spot, but he certainly had the contact information for the leader. If Leo could reach the leader, he could find the location.
Initially, he had considered sneaking into Obadiah’s villa and Stark Tower while Obadiah was away to find clues about his contact with the terrorists. However, realizing his lack of computer skills might make the task impossible, he opted for the more direct approach of kidnapping Obadiah and extracting the necessary information.
Obadiah wasn’t a Hydra agent, so he wouldn’t waste any intel by committing suicide. Li San and his team could easily get him to spill his secrets. The high-profile nature of Obadiah’s abduction might cause a stir, but that wasn’t a concern.
Both the guards and the surveillance footage would show that Obadiah left the villa on his own, saying he’d be gone for a few days. Leo would release him after completing the mission, by which time Obadiah would face Tony Stark’s wrath and legal consequences, making his kidnapping the least of his worries.

The next day, after returning from a jog in the park with Wanda, Leo was stopped by a voice.
“Mr. Leo, could you please wait? I need to discuss the new parking regulations with you.”
Leo turned to see Li San and said to Wanda, “Wanda, you go ahead and make breakfast. I’ll handle this.”
Wanda nodded, wiping the sweat from her forehead, and jogged towards Building Eight.
Once Wanda was out of sight, Li San began his report. “Obadiah has confessed everything: details about the terrorist organization, contact information, and the contents of their dealings.”
“Did you tell him why we were asking these questions?”
“We just said we have a grudge against that terrorist group and want to find them. We didn’t mention Tony Stark.”
“Good. I’ll head over after breakfast.”
It didn’t matter if Obadiah knew their true intentions. By the time they released him, it would all be over.
After breakfast with Wanda, Leo didn’t go to the new company but instead headed to the community’s secret interrogation room.
Seeing Obadiah, bruised and blindfolded, he nodded and instructed his tech-savvy subordinates to contact the terrorist leader, Raza Hamidmi, using Obadiah’s details.
Moments later, one of the subordinates, looking at the computer, reported, “He says they didn’t know they were kidnapping the famous Tony Stark. If we want him dead, we’ll need to pay extra.”
“Reply that I want to meet him. If we strike a deal, I’m willing to pay five times the original price and offer Stark Industries’ latest missiles.”
“Yes, boss.” The subordinate typed quickly and reported back, “He agreed. The meeting is set for tomorrow morning in Baghlan Province, Afghanistan.”
“Good. I’ll need to inform Wanda about a business trip.”
Smiling, Leo instructed Li San, “Keep him sedated. We’ll deal with him once I return.”
As long as Raza Hamidmi agreed to meet, the mission was almost guaranteed to succeed.
—
Just then, a familiar task notification sounded in Leo’s ear. Opening the panel, he saw a new side mission:
[Side Mission: Eliminate Raza Hamidmi, a lieutenant of the Ten Rings, and destroy their base in the Afghan desert.
Reward: Two months in the small world.]
“How rare, another mission rewarding small world time,” Leo thought happily.
Lately, many side missions had appeared, but this was the first time since the New York settlement mission that one offered small world time.
“This changes my plans for secretly extracting Tony Stark and Dr. Yinsen,” he mused. Initially, he had planned to defeat Raza Hamidmi, use transformation jutsu to assume his identity, and safely extract Tony Stark and Dr. Yinsen. But to complete the mission for the reward, he now needed to eliminate Raza and his base entirely.
After some thought, he realized that while this approach was more laborious, it ensured complete eradication of any future threats.
“At least this way, I’ll be rooting out the problem completely, even if it’s more work,” Leo concluded.
