MWM Chapter 308

This entry is part 309 of 599 in the series In Marvel: I Start by Marying Scarlett Witch

“It seems this guy was holding back quite a bit when he fought Chiyo and Sakura.”

Leo stood watching the battle between his shadow clones and Sasori, suddenly realizing that Sasori was displaying far more strength than he remembered.

In Leo’s memory, during Sasori’s fight with Chiyo and Sakura, aside from using a few jutsu while controlling the Kazekage, Sasori didn’t seem to unleash any significant jutsu while manipulating his hundred human puppets. They seemed less effective than the ten normal puppets Chiyo had summoned.

But now, in this battle against his shadow clones, those hundred human puppets were using a variety of jutsu—combining the **Five Elements Release Techniques** with coordinated attacks, making their power rival even that of the Third Kazekage puppet.

Meanwhile, Sasori, who was controlling the puppets, started to feel the weight of the situation. He realized he was being pushed back.

Each of Leo’s shadow clones was able to use **Five Elements Techniques**, and they had vast amounts of chakra, casting high-level jutsu, even combination techniques. Worse yet, every time Sasori managed to get his puppets close, the shadow clones would use a space-time jutsu to evade, making it impossible for him to disrupt them by physical means.

What Sasori didn’t know was that thanks to the **Nine-Tails’ chakra** constantly restoring his energy, even if he eliminated all the shadow clones, Leo could immediately summon more. His chakra had long since fully recovered during the battle.

“Let’s see how you dodge this!”

Sasori glanced at the Konoha ninjas who had just regained consciousness. With a swift motion, he recalled the sixty puppets still intact and placed the Third Kazekage puppet in the forefront once more.

“**Magnet Release: Iron Sand World Method!**”

This was the Third Kazekage’s most powerful jutsu, forming large spiked structures of iron sand in midair to launch piercing attacks. Its range was vast, and like the branching of a tree, it extended in every direction, making it extremely difficult to dodge.

But this time, Sasori’s primary targets weren’t Leo’s clones but the Konoha ninjas, including Hiashi Hyuga, who had just begun to recover from their injuries.

Sasori no longer cared whether the bodies of the Konoha ninjas remained intact. If he could take down Leo and turn him into a human puppet, that would be the ultimate prize.

Seeing the iron sand about to strike, all of Leo’s shadow clones teleported in front of the Konoha ninjas, using their bodies to shield them from the deadly attack. They disappeared in puffs of smoke, having taken the hit for the ninjas.

Hiashi Hyuga and the others, although aware they were only shadow clones, couldn’t help but feel deeply moved by the sight of Leo’s clones vanishing to protect them.

Leo nodded subtly, recognizing that he had now won over the Hyuga clan.

“It’s time to end this.”

The effect he wanted had been achieved. There was no need to prolong the battle.

“**Sasori of the Red Sand**, you’re truly impressive, but I’ve already discovered your weakness.”

“So, you’ve been holding back to observe my weakness? How unfortunate for you—I am the epitome of perfect art, without any weaknesses. But I’ve already uncovered yours, and with this next strike, I’ll end it.”

After eliminating all of Leo’s troublesome shadow clones, Sasori gathered all the iron sand into a massive drill-shaped weapon. At the same time, he controlled the remaining sixty puppets to encircle Leo while manipulating the Third Kazekage to launch another attack.

“**Magnet Release: Iron Sand Drizzle!**”

The massive spinning drill hurtled toward Leo. Instinctively, Leo prepared to use his teleportation jutsu, but something strange happened—his teleportation failed, and his body was involuntarily pulled toward the rapidly spinning drill.

“The high-speed rotation of the iron sand disrupts the surrounding magnetic field, creating a powerful suction that disables your space-time jutsu. So just accept your fate and die.”

Convinced of his impending victory, Sasori smugly explained his strategy. In his mind, Leo’s strengths could be boiled down to three points:

First, his unique and powerful shadow clones; second, his physical prowess, which even surpassed Kisame’s taijutsu; and third, that giant **Thousand-Armed Kannon** technique.

The shadow clones had already been destroyed, and Sasori estimated that Leo’s chakra reserves must be nearly depleted. No matter how strong Leo’s taijutsu was, it couldn’t withstand the assault of Sasori’s poison-coated human puppets. As for the Thousand-Armed Kannon technique, while it had formidable defensive and offensive power, Sasori believed that the concentrated, piercing attack of the **Iron Sand Drizzle** would drill right through it.

Furthermore, Sasori assumed that the massive chakra consumption required to maintain the Kannon technique would drain what little chakra Leo had left.

In his mind, Leo had no way out.

“To think you could lock down space with magnetism… this is a first for me.”

Despite being unable to teleport out, Leo showed no sign of fear. In fact, he looked almost intrigued.

Such methods of locking down space weren’t unheard of. Scientists in other universes had managed to use **quantum entanglement** to prevent space travel, so it wasn’t surprising that a ninja could use magnetized iron sand to achieve the same effect.

Similarly, the magical artifacts he had obtained from the **Xuanyin Sect** could also lock down space, as could the **Great Xuanyin Cauldron** and the **Nine Sons Xuanyin Banner**.

Different worlds might employ different methods, but the results were often the same.

“My sword wings… I’ve never had the chance to properly showcase their full power. I guess now’s as good a time as any.”

While the Konoha ninjas, including Hiashi, watched in rising anxiety, sweat trickling down their foreheads, something incredible happened. A pair of wings made entirely of swords suddenly appeared on Leo’s back.

“**Sword Mastery: Twin Wings Demon Slayer!**”

With his arms folded, the sword wings behind Leo transformed into two long whips made of countless swords. Moving faster than the eye could track, the swords slashed through the air, mercilessly cutting down the sixty puppets that surrounded him.

Those sixty highly dangerous puppets, brimming with deadly traps, were shredded into fragments the moment they entered the range of the sword wings, falling harmlessly to the ground.

“**Sword Mastery: Sword Wheel!**”

As the iron sand drill neared him, Leo changed his hand seals, and the sword whips transformed into two massive sword wheels, spinning at high speed to meet the iron sand.

With a deafening crash, the iron sand drill disintegrated into dust, unable to withstand the power of Leo’s swords, which were crafted from **vibranium** and **Uru metal**.

As the iron sand drill vanished, the space-time lock was lifted.

“**Teleportation!**”

Leo flickered and appeared behind Sasori.

“Not good!”

Sasori immediately realized the danger, trying to unleash a jutsu from his puppet body, but Leo was faster.

“**Disarm!**”

A magical spell struck Sasori, and his body split apart, leaving only his core—his heart—floating in midair. Leo grabbed it with ease.

“Your weakness is this core. Nothing else matters. Even if I destroy your body, you can just transfer to another puppet, right?”
