MWM Chapter 317

This entry is part 318 of 599 in the series In Marvel: I Start by Marying Scarlett Witch

In the blink of an eye, six months had passed.

Inside one of the drawers in the Hokage’s office desk, Leo was experimenting with various new jutsu he had learned.

“**Super Multi-Size Jutsu!**”

Leo clasped his hands together, and his body rapidly expanded, soon reaching a height of over a hundred meters.

The Multi-Size Jutsu was a secret technique of the Akimichi Clan, a yang release chakra-based jutsu that allowed the user to enlarge parts of their body or even their entire body.

Ever since acquiring the Mangekyō Sharingan and Rinnegan, Leo was able to freely use Yin-Yang Release chakra, in addition to the five elemental natures his body already possessed, which meant he could also learn the jutsu of the Akimichi Clan.

The size one could grow using the **Super Multi-Size Jutsu** depended on the amount of chakra they had and their mastery of the technique. In Sage Mode, Leo’s current limit allowed him to grow up to 300 meters tall. The bigger his body, the stronger his power—making this a great jutsu to further enhance his already strong physical abilities.

However, this jutsu had its drawbacks. Growing too large made it difficult to defend oneself, making the user an easier target. That’s why the Akimichi often teamed up with the Nara Clan, using the Shadow Possession Jutsu to immobilize their opponents before delivering a powerful strike.

“**Shadow Possession Jutsu!**”

After shrinking back to his normal size, Leo moved on to testing the Shadow Possession Jutsu, Mind-Body Switch Jutsu, Flying Thunder God Technique, Bringer-of-Darkness Jutsu, Rasengan, Chidori, and more.

Since becoming Hokage, he had created a shadow clone to handle the routine work while devoting most of his time to learning the jutsu of Konoha’s various clans.

As Hokage, he had the authority to access the village’s archives, which contained scrolls of all the recorded jutsu.

Normally, without the proper bloodline or chakra nature, many jutsu couldn’t be learned. Plus, the Hokage had so many responsibilities that it was impossible to spend significant time learning new jutsu beyond their own specialty. Even the Third Hokage, known as the Professor, had focused primarily on the five elemental nature jutsu and some sealing techniques.

However, Leo was an exception as the Fifth Hokage.

In Sage Mode, his shadow clones could last up to a week if they weren’t engaged in combat, allowing him to delegate Hokage duties while using his shadow clones to accelerate his jutsu training.

His principle was simple: if there was a jutsu recorded in the scrolls that he hadn’t mastered, he wouldn’t skip it—learning every single one. Who knew when some obscure technique might prove vital in another world?

After all, one of the main reasons he wanted to become Hokage was to access these jutsu.

Aside from mastering jutsu, he had also secretly visited Amegakure a few times to have in-depth discussions with Nagato about their plan to unify the world.

Their strategy was for the Akatsuki to continue its operations while being covertly funded by “Chuan’s Enterprises,” a global network of shops. The original plan of collecting the tailed beasts to resurrect the Ten-Tails would proceed. However, when extracting the tailed beasts from the jinchūriki, they would be injected with “Life Serum No. 1” to ensure they survived.

After all, Konoha wasn’t exactly aware of whether the Akatsuki was truly connected to Amegakure or not.

To strengthen the Akatsuki, Leo even convinced Zabuza, who was still on Kirigakure’s rogue ninja list, to join. He also brought Haku along, filling the gap left by Kakuzu and Hidan.

Although resurrecting the Ten-Tails was part of the plan, Leo had no intention of using it for the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Instead, he planned to cultivate the Ten-Tails into a Divine Tree and transport it to the main world.

On a barren planet, he would plant the Divine Tree and eat its chakra fruit to greatly enhance his power and lifespan.

He also considered granting Wanda the ability to use chakra, allowing her to learn ninjutsu—particularly the Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu, which he had long been excited to teach her.

As for the Divine Tree’s requirement of sacrificing a member of the Ōtsutsuki Clan to reach full maturity, there was still one Ōtsutsuki hiding in this world—Ōtsutsuki Isshiki.

Long ago, the Ōtsutsuki Clan sent two members to Earth to plant the Divine Tree: Kaguya Ōtsutsuki and Isshiki Ōtsutsuki. Originally, Kaguya was meant to be sacrificed to the Divine Tree, but she resisted, ambushing and gravely injuring Isshiki, feeding him to the tree, and consuming its chakra fruit herself.

Although Isshiki’s body perished, his soul survived, using the Ōtsutsuki’s “Kāma” ability to implant itself in a man named Jigen. However, because Jigen wasn’t a perfect vessel, Isshiki couldn’t fully resurrect, spending millennia searching for the right host to restore his power.

Isshiki, being a higher-ranked Ōtsutsuki than Kaguya before she ate the fruit, was likely even stronger than Madara at his peak, so Leo decided it would be wise to further increase his power before confronting him.

“Before I leave, I should test if Itachi’s newly awakened Mangekyō Sharingan can help evolve my right eye into an Eternal Mangekyō,” Leo thought, noting the countdown to his return was drawing near.

Itachi had finally reawakened his right Mangekyō Sharingan after six months, and yesterday, Leo had acquired it from him.

If Itachi’s new eye couldn’t trigger the evolution into an Eternal Mangekyō, Leo would have to wait for Sasuke, finding a way to stimulate his awakening of the Mangekyō Sharingan in the future.

Holding Itachi’s Mangekyō Sharingan in his hand, Leo activated his own Mangekyō, attempting to absorb the power of Itachi’s eye.

Moments later, his body froze for a second, and the eye in his hand crumbled to dust. His original three-tomoe Mangekyō rapidly spun and evolved into a six-tomoe Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

“**Susano’o!**”

To test it, Leo immediately summoned his Susano’o.

In an instant, an enormous, 150-meter-tall orange-red Susano’o, with massive wings, wielding the Totsuka Blade in its right hand and the Yata Mirror in its left, manifested in the drawer’s space.

Leo stood at the center of the Susano’o’s forehead, overlooking everything.

“Good thing I used an Undetectable Extension Charm to enlarge this space for testing jutsu, or there’s no way this Susano’o would fit in here.”
