“Star Prince?”

Roman’s face showed surprise when he saw Star-Lord. He was no stranger to Peter Quill, the Earthling raised by Ravagers, as he had personally caught him several times during patrols.

At first, because Quill was young and the thefts were minor, Roman had only given him a warning and let him go.

“It’s not *Star Prince*, it’s *Star-Lord*! Star-Lord! Stop getting it wrong. This is my galactic alias, and soon, it’ll be famous across the entire galaxy!” Star-Lord jumped up as soon as he heard Roman call him Star Prince.

“Alright, Star-Lord, what are you doing here… Oh… Damn, it’s Gamora and Nebula, the daughters of the Mad Titan, Thanos!”

Roman, who had been lowering his energy gun, immediately tensed up upon seeing Gamora and Nebula, and he ordered the guards who had rushed into the office to point their weapons at Leo and the others.

“No need to get so worked up. They’ve betrayed Thanos, turned over a new leaf, and won’t hurt you,” Leo explained calmly.

Roman, glancing at Leo and Wanda with a puzzled expression, asked, “And who are you?”

“I’m Leo Chen, and we are—”

Despite having several energy guns pointed at him, Leo remained unfazed and was about to explain their identity when Wanda suddenly cut him off.

“Right, we are here to prevent the destruction of the universe!” Wanda stepped forward, crouching slightly on Leo’s right side, raising her right hand diagonally upwards.

“To maintain peace across the galaxy!”

Star-Lord immediately followed suit, stepping to Leo’s left, mimicking Wanda’s stance while locking his gaze on Nebula.

Wanda also focused her gaze on Nebula.

Nebula looked at Star-Lord, then at Wanda, hesitated for three seconds, and finally walked behind Wanda, copying her pose with an expressionless face:

“To uphold love and justice!”

The three then turned their eyes to Gamora.

Gamora raised an eyebrow but stepped behind Star-Lord, copying his stance:

“…And omnipotence!”

Finally, all four of them looked at Leo.

Standing at the center, Leo looked baffled.

“What are you all doing?” he asked, bewildered.

“This morning, Quill said that just shouting the slogan isn’t enough to make an impression. He suggested we add poses so people will remember it better when we make our entrance,” Wanda explained, turning her head as if her reasoning made perfect sense.

Leo facepalmed. No wonder. It was another ridiculous idea from Star-Lord. He shouldn’t have let his mouth run the day he mentioned that slogan.

Now, with everyone striking poses like this, it felt… awkward, to say the least.

“Guardians of the Galaxy!”

In the end, Leo completed the slogan solemnly. After all, staying silent would only make the situation more awkward. And as the saying goes, if you don’t feel awkward, the awkwardness is on the others.

“Guardians of the Galaxy, what business do you have with me?”

Nova Prime stepped forward, bypassing Roman, and looked at the five of them with interest. The fact that they had snuck into the building unnoticed, remained invisible in her office without detection, and yet didn’t seem to be here to assassinate her intrigued her.

“I want to discuss a collaboration. I can help you with Ronan, but you’ll have to agree to three of my conditions.”

Leo got straight to the point.

However, upon hearing this, Nova Prime simply shook her head with a smile.

“Ronan is not a problem you can solve.”

She had initially thought that these people, having taken the risk to sneak into the building, would have something important to tell her. But now it seemed like a far-fetched dream, and her interest in them vanished.

“Trespassing into a military building… Roman, detain them for ten days as a warning.”

“Understood, Commander.”

Roman waved his hand, and the Nova Corps soldiers closed in on Leo and his team.

“What now? Should we fight back?”

Star-Lord stood up and placed his hands on his dual element guns at his waist.

Behind him, Gamora whispered, “No need. The captain will handle it.”

Indeed, Leo simply raised his hand, and immediately the Nova Corps soldiers were lifted into the air as if their bodies were being controlled, before being slammed back onto the floor.

Their energy guns were instantly pulled from their hands and landed at Leo’s feet.

“Nova Prime, you clearly don’t understand the power of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Trust me, Ronan is no match for us. If you agree to my terms, Ronan will soon vanish from the galaxy.”

As Leo easily handled the soldiers in the room, the alarm in the Nova Corps headquarters blared loudly, with countless soldiers rushing to the top floor.

“Cease your hostile actions immediately!”

Roman, raising his energy gun, fired a shot at Leo, thinking he was dealing with someone from a telekinetic species and attempting to strike first.

However, Leo simply waved his hand, deflecting the energy shot with ease, and used a disarming spell to knock the gun out of Roman’s hands.

At Leo’s current strength, only weapons from large ships could pose a threat to him. Ordinary energy guns were no match for his defenses.

“It seems like I’ll have to show you a bit of my strength before you believe me. But if anything breaks, don’t blame me.”

Seeing the soldiers swarming outside, Leo wasn’t surprised. He clasped his hands together.

“Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique!”

A powerful stream of water surged out, transforming into a massive wave that swept away the soldiers outside, forcing them back into the building.

Using his Sharingan’s illusions would’ve been easier, but those soldiers were wearing helmets, so it might not have worked. Additionally, other ninjutsu techniques could’ve caused too much harm, so he opted for the Great Waterfall Jutsu, a wide-area attack with relatively low damage.

“Mr. Leo, I think we can talk now. What are your conditions to help us with Ronan?”

Nova Prime, instead of panicking at the display of Leo’s power, appeared pleased. She brushed aside Roman and approached Leo directly.

While Leo might not be able to take on Ronan’s fleet, with his demonstrated stealth, invisibility, and powerful combat abilities, he could possibly infiltrate the Dark Aster and assassinate Ronan.

Once Ronan was dead, the Dark Aster would be leaderless and no longer a major threat.
