- MWM Chapter 335
“Storm of Piercing Pear Blossoms!”
One of the arms of the three-headed, six-armed *Susanoo* that wielded a long spear turned towards the main cannon’s direction. Using offense as defense, countless spear thrusts shot forth, colliding head-on with the terrifying energy blast.
Golden energy met white energy, and after three seconds, half of the white energy was forcibly dissipated, but the arm holding the spear in *Susanoo* was heavily damaged and vanished.
“Super Shinra Tensei!”
With the golden Rinnegan at full power, an immense repulsive force further halved the remaining white energy blast.
At this point, the energy heading toward Leo’s body was less than a quarter of its original strength.
“Sword Wheel Spin!”
With a quick gesture, a thousand flying swords formed a spinning conical shield, slicing relentlessly into the remaining white energy.
Moments later, the last trace of the white energy was completely eradicated by the sword wheel.
“Return!”
With a flick of his hand, the thousand flying swords flew back, forming wings once more before vanishing into his *dantian*.
“The main cannon of a ship of this class really packs a punch,” Leo muttered in admiration.
Pouring large amounts of Sage Chakra into *Susanoo*, he restored the damaged arm. His defensive methods—complete *Susanoo* enhanced by Sage Mode, the immensely powerful *Shinra Tensei* with the golden Rinnegan, and a thousand flying swords forged from Uru metal and Vibranium—barely managed to withstand the main cannon of the *Dark Aster*.
This was the peak of his defensive capabilities, outside of magic and raw physical strength.
Unbeknownst to him, while he marveled at the power of the *Dark Aster*’s main cannon, Ronan and his crew in the ship’s control room were left utterly speechless. The fact that Leo had survived the full force of the cannon without injury left their jaws hanging.
“Who is this guy?” Ronan wondered, astonished.
There was no way a mere planet like TS-214 could produce such a powerful being. The last time he had encountered someone this formidable was sixteen years ago on C-53, the Earth woman who still gave the empire headaches to this day.
But back then, he had commanded five Kree warships, which were far more powerful than the *Dark Aster*.
“Fire the cannon again!” Ronan barked, rising to his feet in fury.
“The main cannon requires five minutes to cool down, my lord. We can’t fire it yet,” the Centurion replied, wiping the cold sweat from his brow.
“Are you telling me my ship only has a main cannon?” Ronan glared at him coldly.
“Deploy all secondary cannons, concentrate fire on that target, and order all ghost ships to retreat from attacking the Nova Corps forces below. I want this intruder taken down first!”
“Yes, my lord!”
The Centurion immediately commanded the crew to lock all secondary cannons onto Leo and instructed the ghost ships to fall back for defense.
Meanwhile, down on TS-214, the Nova Corps base had lost most of its air defenses, and their remaining ships had been shot down. The colossal *Dark Aster* above had suddenly ceased its attack, and soon, the ghost ships also retreated.
The surviving Nova Corps soldiers on the base were left bewildered.
Only the commander, who had been monitoring the battlefield using advanced equipment, had any idea what was happening.
“We’ve been saved!” the commander exclaimed.
When the *Dark Aster* first appeared over the planet, he had sent distress signals to nearby planets and the capital, as per protocol. But Ronan had anticipated this, using advanced jamming technology to block all signals, leaving the planet completely isolated.
There was no way the troops stationed on this small, subordinate planet could withstand Ronan’s forces—especially after the planetary guardian had been obliterated.
Just as hope had seemed lost, this mysterious savior had appeared, forcing Ronan to recall all of his forces to deal with the threat.
…
“An attack without a counter isn’t proper etiquette.”
Switching to the arm holding the bow, Leo’s enormous avatar nocked a golden arrow on a massive bowstring. Sage Chakra flooded into the bow from within him.
Moments later, a golden, fifty-meter-long flaming arrow materialized.
“Take this!”
Releasing the bowstring, a golden flash shot out toward the *Dark Aster*.
Every ghost ship that crossed paths with the arrow was instantly vaporized, leaving no trace of ship or crew behind.
“Defend! Activate the shields at full power, now!”
The moment Leo had drawn the bow, Ronan sensed the danger and immediately ordered the full deployment of the energy shields around the *Dark Aster*.
But when the golden arrow met the shields, they shattered in less than three seconds.
The arrow smashed into the *Dark Aster*, blasting a hundred-meter-wide hole in the ship.
“Impressive power—just as expected,” Leo muttered with satisfaction as he flew toward the *Dark Aster* on a cloud of energy.
The ghost ships that attempted to intercept him were either skewered by his golden spear or ensnared and flung far away by golden ropes.
As for the rest of the ship’s artillery, it couldn’t even breach the defenses of his three-headed, six-armed form.
Upon reaching the gaping hole in the *Dark Aster*, Leo dispelled the *Susanoo*, returning to his normal size before entering the ship.
The *Susanoo* was too large to maneuver inside the ship without causing extensive damage, and he didn’t want to destroy too much of the ship since it would soon be his.
Besides, the powerful golden arrow had drained a significant amount of Sage Chakra, especially the vital *Golden Core* energy.
“I should really get started on building that aura-collecting device.”
As he made his way deeper into the ship, a squad of heavily armored Kree soldiers, equipped with energy weapons, rushed at him.
“Avada Kedavra! Avada Kedavra! Avada Kedavra!”
Since the mission required him to kill Ronan and his subordinates, Leo showed no mercy, dispatching them with the Killing Curse.
When only one Kree soldier remained, Leo used the Human Path ability of the Rinnegan to extract the soldier’s soul, probing it for information about Ronan’s location.
“In the main control room, huh?”
After crushing the soul in his hand, Leo strode toward the control room.
When power reaches a certain level, sheer numbers become meaningless.
The Kree soldiers might be physically stronger than humans and equipped with advanced technology, but to Leo, they were all equally vulnerable to a single Killing Curse.
Casually stepping over the bodies of Kree soldiers, he soon arrived at the *Dark Aster*’s control room, where Ronan and his remaining subordinates were waiting, fully prepared.
“Who the hell are you?” Ronan demanded, gripping his war hammer tightly.
