MWM Chapter 512

This entry is part 513 of 599 in the series In Marvel: I Start by Marying Scarlett Witch

“Perfect form? You’re not worthy!”

Seeing that Leo blocked his attack with just his physical abilities, black markings began to spread across Jigen’s body and face.

“Form One is enough,” he said confidently.

Transforming into his complete Otsutsuki form would cause his current vessel to collapse within days, but before that, he could still activate partial transformations—Form One and Form Two—without damaging his body.

Based on his observations from the last war in the ninja world, Jigen believed that activating Form One would be sufficient to deal with Leo.

Drawing a black chakra rod from his Daikokuten dimension as a weapon, Jigen shrank his body to the size of an ant, quickly maneuvered behind Leo, and then enlarged himself to strike at Leo’s back.

“Too slow! Too slow! Too slow!” Leo sneered as he spun around, delivering a powerful kick that sent Jigen flying out of the restaurant like a cannonball.

“He’s grown this much stronger in such a short time?” Jigen gasped, halting his momentum in mid-air using his Otsutsuki flight ability, coughing up blood.

He glanced down at the town below, now completely empty.

Clearly, when Leo arrived, all the town’s residents had been evacuated by the Empire using space-time ninjutsu tools.

“It seems you’ve come here fully intent on killing me. In that case, I’ll have to destroy your entire Empire as well.”

Jigen turned to the distant hill, where Nagato, Konan, and all of the Empire’s elite shinobi had gathered, ready to intervene at any moment.

Resolute, he activated his Form Two state, sprouting a curved horn on his forehead.

At that moment, Leo teleported right in front of Jigen.

“These guys just can’t sit still, can they?” Leo said, noting Nagato and the others’ chakra signatures even earlier than Jigen.

He had instructed Nagato to use a special gate key to evacuate all the civilians from the town to prevent collateral damage.

Now, it was clear that Nagato, worried for his safety, had secretly gathered all the Empire’s strongest warriors.

“Die!” Jigen shouted, lunging at Leo with the black chakra rod in his hand, moving much faster than before.

On the hill, Nagato and the others watched with tense expressions as Jigen attacked Leo. They couldn’t even track Jigen’s movements, only seeing vague afterimages—an indication of how powerful he was.

For them, going up against Jigen at this speed would mean they’d be defeated before they even had the chance to cast any jutsu.

Nagato, in particular, realized that even in his previous incomplete Ten-Tails Jinchuriki state, his speed didn’t come close to matching Jigen’s current level.

It was clear how formidable this hidden Otsutsuki truly was.

No wonder Leo told them not to intervene; even if they all joined the fight, they wouldn’t have stood a chance against Jigen.

However, soon their worries faded as they realized that no matter how fast Jigen attacked, Leo remained untroubled.

Floating effortlessly in mid-air, Leo blocked all of Jigen’s assaults with just one hand, easily countering every move.

“I told you, unless you transform into your complete form, you’re not even worthy of my serious attention,” Leo said calmly.

With a swift movement, he dodged another of Jigen’s attacks and appeared behind him, kicking him down to the ground.

The two weren’t even in the same league.

“Boom!”

This time, with a bit more force from Leo, Jigen crashed into the ground, creating a crater hundreds of meters wide, destroying a large portion of the town in an instant.

“Cough, cough… I didn’t expect… you to be this strong,” Jigen said weakly, struggling to his feet from the crater.

He found it hard to believe that a mere human could have trained his body to such a level.

As a high-ranking Otsutsuki member, even in his Form Two state, he was already stronger than 90% of his clan.

At this point, he knew that if he didn’t transform into his complete form, he might truly meet his end here.

“In that case, I have no choice but to go into full transformation,” Jigen growled, unleashing his full power. His human form disappeared entirely, transforming into the true form of the Otsutsuki.

His skin turned pale white, and his eyes shifted—one became a Byakugan, and the other transformed into a golden eye with eight black streaks running through it.

Without a proper vessel, Jigen could only survive a few days in this form, but during those days, he intended to annihilate Leo and the entire leadership of the Ninja Empire.

Afterward, he would find another body to parasitize before his current form collapsed, allowing him to survive long enough to search for a perfect vessel in the future.

But as he was about to unleash his power, reality shattered his hopes.

Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his right eye, and the golden eye capable of using Sukunahikona and Daikokuten vanished.

Before he could react, a blue sword pierced his abdomen, and flames consumed his soul, reducing it to nothing.

“Sorry, even in your full form, you still don’t deserve my full attention,” Leo said coldly, holding the golden eye as he sheathed the Southern Ming Fire Sword and looked down at Isshiki Otsutsuki’s lifeless body.

With his power, Leo could have easily defeated Isshiki in an instant.

He had drawn out the battle to force Isshiki to fully transform into his Otsutsuki form.

This way, the Ten-Tails would be able to absorb a higher-quality Otsutsuki, producing a higher-quality Divine Tree and Chakra Fruit.

He also needed to wait for Jigen to turn into his full Otsutsuki form to claim the golden eye that held the powers of Sukunahikona and Daikokuten.

He wasn’t particularly interested in those abilities. He could already manipulate size using spells, and he had his own dimensional space.

The real reason for taking the golden eye was to gain access to the second Ten-Tails hidden within Daikokuten.

If he had killed Isshiki Otsutsuki outright, he wouldn’t have been able to retrieve that second Ten-Tails.

Initially, he didn’t expect to claim the second Ten-Tails, as he thought he couldn’t yet overpower the complete form of Isshiki Otsutsuki.

That was why he planned to wait for the Three-Tails to revive and use all nine Tailed Beasts to create a Ten-Tails and plant a Divine Tree for safety.

But after his power greatly increased following his tribulation, he surpassed his original expectations. Now, he could use the second Ten-Tails to grow the Divine Tree, leaving the first Ten-Tails for Nagato to manage.

This way, even if he didn’t return to this world for a long time, there would be no major issues.
