MWM Chapter 517

This entry is part 518 of 599 in the series In Marvel: I Start by Marying Scarlett Witch

“Father, calm down!”

Seeing her father so agitated that his whole body was trembling, Hope quickly came over to support him and then looked at Leo with a face full of hope.

“Are you telling the truth?”

“If you don’t believe me, how about I fulfill my promise first, and then Dr. Pym can decide whether or not to join my company?” Leo replied with a shrug.

Dr. Pym, now more composed, looked at Leo and said firmly, “If you really can bring Janet back, I will join your company and hand over the Pym formula.”

“Good, then let’s get started with fulfilling my first promise,” Leo said as he pressed a button on his smartwatch, projecting a holographic image into the air.

“Li San, how’s the task going?” he asked.

“Boss, all related data has been completely deleted, but the Wasp suit isn’t in the display room,” Li San reported respectfully, standing outside Pym Technologies.

Through the holographic projection, they could see a group of strong men efficiently handling the security guards, tying them up like chickens and stuffing them off to the side. Then, they threw small, circular devices onto the building, causing the entire structure to shrink down to the size of a suitcase, which they then loaded into a car.

“Alright, wrap things up and withdraw,” Leo nodded.

If the Wasp suit wasn’t in the building’s display, it was surely still in Darren Cross’s possession.

“How do you have my technology?” Dr. Pym asked, staring wide-eyed at Leo.

The shrinking discs just used on the building were based on Pym Particle technology, a standard part of Ant-Man’s equipment.

“It’s a bit complicated to explain, but let’s just say it was brought back from the future. We can discuss this in more detail once we’ve rescued Janet,” Leo said with a smile, without delving into the specifics.

Knowing that Janet had encountered Kang the Conqueror in the quantum realm, Leo was sure that once they rescued her, she would understand without needing further explanation.

“Yes, let’s focus on rescuing Janet!” Dr. Pym quickly agreed.

At that moment, nothing was more important to him than bringing his wife back. They had been separated for over twenty years.

“Hold on a moment,” Leo said, his figure disappearing in a flash. When he reappeared, he was on a highway.

Below him was Darren Cross, driving in anger. During their previous encounter, Leo had left a Flying Thunder God mark on Cross.

With a flick of his wrist, the Wasp suit and the molecular disintegration gun in Cross’s pocket flew out and landed in Leo’s hand.

He then teleported back to Dr. Pym’s house.

Not long after Leo left, Cross drove up to the Pym Technologies building. He was planning to triple the security ahead of the military demonstration of the Wasp suit and weapons in three days.

However, when he saw that the entire building was gone, he was utterly dumbfounded.

“My—my company! Where is my company?” he stammered, looking around in shock.

If not for the tied-up guards and the company sign at the entrance, he might have thought he’d come to the wrong place.

Just then, several police cars pulled up, and a group of plainclothes officers stepped out.

But instead of investigating the disappearance of his company as Cross had hoped, the lead officer approached him with handcuffs in hand and said, “Darren Cross, I’m Agent Jimmy Woo with the FBI. You’re under arrest for the murder of government official Frank!”

“What?” Cross’s face went pale.

Frank was a government official who had opposed his plan to use the Wasp suit in the military, so Cross had killed him with the molecular gun at the company. He thought he’d covered his tracks well. How did the FBI figure it out?

As he reached into his pocket for his Wasp suit and weapon, he realized they were both missing.

“Are you sure you want to come into the quantum realm with me?” Leo asked in surprise upon returning to Dr. Pym’s residence.

It turned out that as he was about to use his smartwatch to enter the quantum realm, Dr. Pym, Hope, and Scott Lang requested to join him.

“Yes, I want to find her myself!” Dr. Pym said with determination.

“Alright, it’s not a problem. Just come a little closer,” Leo agreed.

While they wouldn’t be of much help in rescuing Janet or defeating Kang the Conqueror, Leo didn’t mind having them along. In fact, letting them see the quantum realm firsthand could significantly aid their future research in quantum technology.

“Tsukuyomi!”

He activated his technique to bring the three into his Tsukuyomi dimension, then pressed the shrink button on his smartwatch.

His body shrank to the quantum scale, passing through the dimensional barrier from the macroscopic universe into the microcosmic quantum realm.

Moments later, he landed in a forest made of bizarre plants, surrounded by shimmering quantum energy. Leo opened his third eye and released Dr. Pym, Hope, and Scott.

“Oh my God, this is the quantum realm? It’s incredible!”

The three of them marveled at the world around them, looking at the sky filled with quantum energy and the fantastical landscape that made them feel like they were in a magical realm.

Even Leo found it a fascinating experience.

He thought to himself that his Tsukuyomi dimension would truly be on another level if it could one day evolve to include such a quantum realm.

“Where’s Janet?” Dr. Pym asked, snapping back to focus on their mission.

“The quantum realm is a molecular universe with its own native inhabitants. Janet has been here for over twenty years, and she’s most likely living among them now.

“So, our best approach is to find the locals and ask them,” Leo explained as he raised his hand, summoning a cloud to lift the four of them into the air.

Years ago, after Janet had entered the quantum realm, she lived with the native inhabitants until she met Kang the Conqueror.

Initially, she thought Kang was a good person and used her knowledge of quantum technology to help him repair his ship, searching for the energy needed to power it.

Kang promised that if they succeeded, he would take her back to the outer universe.

But during the final stages of the ship’s repair, Janet glimpsed Kang’s true nature through the neural link, seeing his plans to conquer and destroy multiple universes. She chose to sabotage the process, using her quantum weapons to disable the energy core and escape.

Kang, unable to leave the quantum realm, instead used his technology and resources to build a fortress, creating a powerful army of mechanized forces.

Now, his goal was to dominate the quantum realm, find Janet, and repair the energy core to lead his forces back into the macro universe.

At this moment, Janet was likely allied with the natives, fighting against Kang’s tyrannical rule.
