MWM Chapter 530

This entry is part 531 of 599 in the series In Marvel: I Start by Marying Scarlett Witch

It should be noted that his Tsukuyomi Dimension is currently only in its infancy. Even after fully absorbing the life essence of the Bloodspring, enabling him to create life and bring vitality to the Tsukuyomi World, the question of how to create life and how to create a world remained a challenge for him.

He lacked any relevant experience.

Of course, if he were to spend time gradually figuring it out, he might be able to complete the creation process in thousands or tens of thousands of years.

Presumably, many creator gods went through similar slow processes when creating worlds.

But now, with the blueprint of how Nirn was created in his hands, the challenge instantly vanished.

He could now refer to the contents of this blueprint to carry out a secondary creation, greatly saving time.

It would also allow him to gain insights into the essence of the world and strengthen his mastery of the laws of nature.

“Don’t think you can underestimate me just because you’re immune to my paralysis spell. I’ll show you my power!”

Ancano was shocked to see that Leo did not have the Staff of Magnus in hand and was unaffected by the enhanced paralysis spell. But seeing Leo disregard him filled him with rage, and he prepared to unleash even more powerful magic, enhanced by the Eye of Magnus.

“Annoying!”

Leo glanced at Ancano and roared:

“Fus Ro Dah!”

“Dragon Shouts have no effect on me.”

Seeing Leo use a Dragon Shout against him, Ancano laughed arrogantly.

With the Eye of Magnus as protection, he believed that even a powerful Dragon Shout couldn’t harm him.

However, in the next moment, the Magnus energy surrounding his body was forcibly dispersed by the shout. His body then shattered, from flesh to bone, into a bloody spray on the hall’s walls—he was utterly dead.

“Of course, an ordinary Dragon Shout wouldn’t work. But this is *my* Dragon Shout.”

Leo smiled and resumed examining the Eye of Magnus.

The Eye of Magnus did indeed contain immense energy, but fundamentally, it was a blueprint designed by Magnus for creating Nirn. Meanwhile, Dragon Shouts derived their power from the Dragon God Akatosh and were meant for battle.

An ordinary Dragonborn, even the Greybeards, would not be able to break through the Eye’s energy with their shouts.

But Leo was no ordinary Dragonborn. His Dragon Shouts were more potent than even Alduin’s. He had deliberately focused the shout’s power solely on Ancano; otherwise, the entire Winterhold might have been obliterated.

Thus, even with the Eye of Magnus’s power, Ancano stood no chance.

Moreover, Leo had already used the Southern Bright Flame Sword to forcefully break through the Eye of Magnus’s shield, significantly weakening its protective energy.

“Oh, and there’s you all.”

Remembering that his guards were still immobilized, Leo turned and extended a finger:

“End All Curses!”

A wave of magical energy swept through the entire Winterhold Magic Academy, and everyone paralyzed by Ancano’s spell was instantly restored to normal.

The newly freed mages of Winterhold looked at the bloodstain on the hall wall where Ancano had been and couldn’t help but swallow hard, stepping forward to thank Leo.

The power of the Dragonborn Emperor’s Dragon Shout was even greater than the legends described!

“Thank you, Your Majesty, for saving our academy. All the faculty and students of our academy are deeply grateful.”

“It’s a small matter. However, this Eye of Magnus is too dangerous to remain in your academy—it poses a threat to the entire continent. I will take it with me and secure it away. You have no objections, do you?”

Leo nodded, turning to the mages of Winterhold.

The mages exchanged glances before looking towards Tolfdir, the eldest and most respected of them. Tolfdir immediately replied:

“No objections, none at all.”

It would be foolish to argue otherwise. If he dared to disagree and angered the Dragonborn Emperor, the entire Winterhold Academy might be wiped out.

Leo, hearing this, smiled in satisfaction:

“Very well. By the way, do you have any Elder Scrolls or information about them here at Winterhold Academy?”

“Elder Scrolls? We don’t have such legendary artifacts, but as for related information… Urag gro-Shub, do you know anything about the Elder Scrolls?”

Tolfdir pondered for a moment and turned to an old Orc standing behind him.

Urag gro-Shub, though an Orc, was not a warrior but a mage, and he served as the librarian of the academy.

When it came to secret knowledge and rumors, he was the right one to ask.

The old Orc stepped forward respectfully and replied:

“The Elder Scrolls hold ancient power, capable of revealing both past and future. There is a mage at the academy who has studied the Elder Scrolls extensively; he might know where to find one.”

“Who?”

Leo asked.

The old Orc replied slowly:

“His name is Septimus Signus, but he hasn’t returned to the academy in a long time. The last time he left, he told me he was heading to a Dwemer ruin in the northern ice fields for research.”

“Dwemer ruins.”

Leo’s eyes showed a hint of surprise.

The Dwemer, also known as the Dwarves, were an ancient and advanced race.

They were a reclusive elven race living in Morrowind during the First Era, known for dwelling deep underground and possessing a civilization far ahead of not only their contemporaries but even most races today.

Their achievements in engineering, craftsmanship, metallurgy, stonework, architecture, city planning, science, mathematics, magic, and academic arts continue to amaze modern scholars.

Their vast underground cities and ruins are a haven for adventurers, full of valuable Dwarven artifacts, though they are extremely dangerous.

They are far more perilous than the Nordic ruins infested with Draugr.

That’s because these Dwarven ruins are filled with deadly traps, remnants of Dwarven automata, and the brutal, primitive Falmer.

The Dwarven automata are mechanical constructs enhanced with magic, functioning like intelligent robots, capable of both physical and magical attacks, with extremely high defensive capabilities.

As for the Falmer, once known as the Snow Elves, they sought refuge with the Dwemer after being defeated in war against the Nords. The Dwemer betrayed them, turning them into slaves, and due to prolonged consumption of certain toxic fungi, the Falmer suffered severe cognitive decline.

Now, across the continent of Tamriel, or even the entire world of Nirn, the Dwemer no longer exist.

The entire Dwemer race mysteriously vanished from the world at some point during the First Era.

There are many theories about their disappearance.

Some say they angered the Daedric Prince Azura, who wiped them out. Others speculate that they discovered the essence of the divine and collectively ascended to godhood. Still, others suggest they tampered with Lorkhan’s Heart and were turned to ash. The explanations are as varied as they are mysterious.
