MWM Chapter 547

This entry is part 548 of 599 in the series In Marvel: I Start by Marying Scarlett Witch

“How is this possible?!”

Sensing the surge of energy from within Leo, which was even more powerful than before, the Ideal Master was utterly shocked.

He had gone all out, using the full power of his Soul Cairn to suppress Leo, finally wearing down his strength. Just when he thought he was about to claim victory, Leo not only fully recovered but had become significantly stronger than before.

Even with all his centuries of experience, the Ideal Master had never encountered a situation like this.

“No matter what tricks you have up your sleeve, they won’t work! Here in my Soul Cairn, your fate is sealed. You will become one with me, a powerful new source of nourishment!”

Regaining his composure, the Ideal Master let out a furious roar.

The current situation was beyond his expectations, but he believed it was still under his control. Even if Leo’s energy was now stronger, he was confident that it wouldn’t be enough to turn the tide.

With renewed determination, he unleashed a massive wave of death energy, aiming to crush Leo back into the dust.

“One with you? No, I’m going to absorb you instead!”

Hearing the Ideal Master’s roar, Leo unleashed a Dragon Shout:

“Dragonrend!”

The powerful Dragon Shout, specifically targeting souls, slammed into the enormous soul crystal that the Ideal Master had manifested, instantly rendering him dazed.

In the Soul Cairn, most Dragon Shouts would have little effect, as the realm’s rules were under the control of the Ideal Master, governing time, space, and more.

But Dragonrend was different—it directly attacked the soul. Even Alduin, Akatosh’s darker counterpart, was affected by it, experiencing the agony of death within his soul. The Ideal Master, made up of many combined souls, was especially vulnerable to its effects.

Seeing that Dragonrend had taken effect, Leo wasted no time. He unleashed his full power, launching a relentless assault on the giant soul crystal of the Ideal Master.

First, he combined the Demon-Breaking Arrow of his Three-Headed, Six-Armed Susanoo with the God-Slaying Arrow from his Sagittarius Gold Cloth, then followed it up with the Nameless Fiery Sword, a weapon representing the power of life that was particularly effective against dark entities.

Next came a storm of flying swords, fired from his Sword-Wing form, and the Great Sumeru Dark Yin Cauldron, designed to absorb and refine souls.

After exhausting this barrage of attacks, he engaged in close combat using the Three-Headed, Six-Armed Susanoo.

Chains bound the Ideal Master, sealing him in place, as Leo struck with his golden spear, pushing his Cosmos to its limits. He unleashed a flurry of attacks, utilizing all the deadly moves of the Gold Saints.

By the time the Ideal Master regained his senses from the effects of Dragonrend, his giant soul crystal had already been shattered into fragments, dissipating as crystalline dust across the gray sky.

“AAAAHHHHH!!!”

The Ideal Master’s enraged scream echoed throughout the Soul Cairn.

Although destroying the soul crystal didn’t kill the Ideal Master outright—since, as long as the Soul Cairn itself remained intact, he was nearly impossible to kill—it was still a severe blow.

Losing his primary vessel, the soul crystal, meant his power was more than halved, and his control over the Soul Cairn diminished greatly.

This was no minor injury that would recover in a few days; it would take at least a century for him to form a new soul crystal and regain his full strength.

“Unforgivable!”

Now, the Ideal Master was truly furious. Earlier, he had held back somewhat, wary of damaging Leo’s soul too much and losing its full potential for absorption.

But now, he decided to go all out, intending to kill Leo first and worry about harvesting his soul later.

“You think you can defeat me with your powers? Not a chance!”

Seeing the enraged Ideal Master, Leo smirked coldly to himself.

Even though the Ideal Master held the advantage in his own realm, Leo’s abilities were particularly effective against souls and necromantic energies.

Moreover, the Ideal Master had no understanding of the techniques Leo wielded, drawn from different worlds.

Thus, with a single explosive attack, Leo had shattered the Ideal Master’s soul crystal by leveraging his advantage over spirits.

Now deprived of his soul crystal vessel, the Ideal Master’s consciousness merged with the entire Soul Cairn, transforming into a colossal face that covered the entire sky.

The laws of the Soul Cairn surged into action, and countless undead thralls rose from the ground, while torrents of death energy crashed toward Leo like a tidal wave.

In mere moments, cracks appeared on the surface of Leo’s Two-Thousand-Meter-Tall, Three-Headed, Six-Armed Susanoo.

If this continued, it wouldn’t take long before the Susanoo shattered under the pressure, leaving Leo’s golden armor and physical body exposed to the onslaught.

Even with his reduced strength, the Ideal Master’s full-force assault, wielding the power of the entire Soul Cairn, was still a terrifying force.

“It’s about time.”

As the cracks spread across the Susanoo’s surface, Leo sensed that the moment had arrived.

The nine-tomoe Rinne Sharingan on his forehead suddenly activated:

“Moonlit World, manifest!”

The Moonlit World, filled with realms of lava, ice, intense gravity, sand, acid, and more, poured forth from Leo’s Rinne Sharingan, entering the material plane for the first time under his command.

Unlike before, when he would drag opponents into the Moonlit World to suppress and seal them, this time, he brought the entire dimension out to clash directly with the Soul Cairn.

“You’ve created your own Daedric-like realm?!”

As Leo’s Moonlit World collided with the Soul Cairn, the Ideal Master felt fear for the first time.

Earlier, he had been angry and frustrated, struggling to overcome the unexpected challenges posed by Leo’s strange abilities, but he had never been truly afraid.

It was like being slapped by an unruly child—it might be infuriating, but it wasn’t frightening, as you could easily subdue them.

But now, that “child” had suddenly grown into a towering warrior, far more powerful than expected. And now, the Ideal Master was worried.

“Let’s talk this over, we can negotiate. It was all a misunderstanding! I’ll open the way for you to leave—”

In his panic, the Ideal Master abruptly ceased his attacks, adopting a completely different tone as he tried to bargain with Leo. He even reopened the portal that he had just sealed shut.

He had no choice. At first, even knowing Leo had his own realm, he wouldn’t have been intimidated—he would have assumed they’d end up mutually wounded, with neither side willing to press the fight to the death.

But now, with his soul crystal shattered and his strength halved, he realized that Leo not only had the upper hand in raw power but that his Moonlit World was stronger than the Soul Cairn.

If they continued this battle, he might truly be destroyed.
