MWM Chapter 566

This entry is part 567 of 599 in the series In Marvel: I Start by Marying Scarlett Witch

“It is indeed time to end this.”

As Leo felt his cosmos grow immensely during his battle with Hypnos, he knew it was time to seal the god of sleep. Meanwhile, in the Moon Reading World, one by one, the Saints’ Cloths were shattered under the relentless pressure of Thanatos, forcing them to evolve into their divine forms, the God Cloths.

“Come out, Saints!”

Dodging Hypnos’ Eternal Sleep with a teleport, Leo activated his Nine Tomoe Rinnegan again. One by one, eighteen Saints, now clad in their God Cloths, appeared before him.

These included the eleven Gold Saints with the highest talent, the five Bronze Saints—the main characters of this world—and two of the strongest Silver Saints, whose powers rivaled that of Gold Saints.

“This… this can’t be!”

For the usually calm Hypnos, seeing the eighteen Saints donned in God Cloths was nothing short of terrifying. His strength was undeniable, but even he could only handle three or four Saints in their God Cloths. Now, eighteen had appeared, and they were joined by Leo, a Pope whose power rivaled his own. How could he possibly win?

“All together, attack!”

The eighteen Saints launched their strongest attacks, their cosmos enhanced a hundredfold by the divine power of their God Cloths.

“This is impossible! How could I lose to mere mortals?!”

With a roar of disbelief, Hypnos’ body was destroyed, and his soul fled toward Elysium.

“You’re not getting away!”

Leo, who had anticipated this, intercepted the severely weakened soul of Hypnos, activating the Nine Tomoe Rinnegan once more, and absorbed Hypnos into the Moon Reading World, sealing him alongside Thanatos, whose body had already been destroyed.

“And now, it’s time for Hades.”

Having defeated the twin gods, Leo immediately led the Sanctuary’s forces to charge into Hades’ temple at the far end of the underworld, arriving before the Wall of Lamentation.

“The Wall of Lamentation is the barrier between Elysium and the Underworld. It is indestructible and can only be crossed by gods. No matter how much energy is used against it, it remains untouched,” Shion explained, his expression serious as he gazed at the massive wall.

“For mortals, this wall only brings despair, hence its name. The only thing capable of breaking it is the energy of the sun—the source of life on Earth and the only thing that can pierce through the darkness.”

“If we’re in the underworld, where can we find sunlight?” Seiya stepped forward, voicing his concern.

Dohko chuckled and glanced at the group. “All twelve Gold Saints’ constellations revolve around the sun, and their Gold Cloths constantly absorb solar energy. If all twelve Gold Saints burn their cosmos together, they can create a small-scale solar force to break the Wall of Lamentation.”

Normally, it would require a sacrifice of their lives to unleash such a force. However, now that many of them had evolved into God Cloths and their powers had increased dramatically—and with Leo’s cosmos rivaling that of the gods—it seemed possible to break the wall without sacrificing their lives.

“There’s no need for all that trouble. I’ll handle this.”

Stepping forward, Leo activated his Nine Tomoe Rinnegan and unleashed the Eternal Flame—a force akin to a miniature sun—directly at the Wall of Lamentation.

“This… is a sun!”

The Saints gasped as Leo summoned a miniature sun. They had expected powerful techniques from him, but releasing an actual sun was beyond anything they had imagined.

Moments later, the energy of the Eternal Flame collided with the Wall of Lamentation. Cracks began to form within three seconds, and within ten seconds, the wall shattered completely into dust.

Beyond the wall lay an interdimensional space made up of countless stars.

“Elysium is hundreds of billions of light-years away from here. Only gods can traverse this space without being killed. Even the Specters of the Underworld’s three giants wouldn’t survive,” Pandora, who had been captured earlier, warned from behind them.

“This necklace was given to me by Hades. With it, you can safely pass through the space and reach Elysium.”

Now free from the mental control of the twin gods, Pandora’s mind had cleared. Recalling her tragic past and the murder of her family, she no longer harbored any loyalty toward Hades or the twin gods. Only hatred remained.

“It seems you’ve come to your senses,” Leo said, giving her a brief look of sympathy. Pandora, too, was a victim.

Taking the necklace from her, Leo quickly gathered all the Saints into his Moon Reading World to keep them safe, then flew with Athena toward Elysium.

Though the God Cloths could protect the Saints from the interdimensional space, flying across such a vast distance to Elysium would have exhausted them. The necklace allowed them to bypass the effort and arrive instantly.

As for Athena, being a true goddess, she was unaffected by the dangers of the space.

Soon, they arrived in a paradise filled with birdsong and blooming flowers—a place that resembled heaven itself.

“Athena, you’re up,” Leo said, nodding toward the goddess as they arrived at the true temple of Hades, where his physical body was sealed.

Athena donned her divine armor, and her powerful cosmos flared to life.

“Athena! Hahaha! You’ve come right to me!”

Hades, whose spirit had been recuperating within his true body after being wounded in the Sanctuary, suddenly sensed Athena’s cosmos outside. His eyes snapped open, filled with excitement.

“I searched so hard for you, but here you are, coming straight to me!”

Previously, Hades had failed to bring Athena to Elysium, but now she had arrived of her own accord.

“Wait a minute… Where are Hypnos and Thanatos?”

Hades quickly noticed something was wrong. The presences of his two subordinate gods had vanished, along with the 108 Specters of the Underworld. Instead, powerful cosmoses were rising alongside Athena.

“Nine Heavens Thunder!”

Leo clapped his hands together, summoning a massive bolt of purple lightning that blasted through Hades’ temple, revealing a stunned Hades himself.
