Hades, clad in his black godly armor and wielding the Underworld Divine Sword, felt a surge of rage as he realized his body had been slightly injured by the purple lightning.

“What terrifying Cosmo!”

Compared to the last time when he had merely possessed another and unleashed a momentary burst of power, this time, Hades was fighting with his true form, and his Cosmo was dozens of times stronger. Even the Saints, who had evolved into their godly cloths, could feel an overwhelming fear of death from deep within.

They sensed that if they dared to attack the god of the underworld, the only result would be their demise.

“Hades, it’s over. This time, you have no chance of winning!”

Athena’s consciousness fully awakened in response to the pressure of Hades’ Cosmo. Her immense yet comforting Cosmo instantly blocked the dark power of Hades.

“Athena! You dare oppose me time and again for these hopeless, foolish humans? Today, I will end your life for good!”

Hades flashed in front of Athena, swinging his sword down at her.

However, Athena, donned in her divine armor, showed no fear. She raised her shield to block his strike.

It was clear, though, that Hades’ Cosmo was stronger. After a brief struggle, Athena began to lose ground.

“All Saints, heed my command! Burn your Cosmos together!”

Seeing this, Leo let out a mighty shout, leading all the Saints of the Sanctuary to burn their Cosmos. Using his spirit as a medium, he channeled all their combined power into Athena’s Cosmo.

Athena and Hades were gods of the same rank, but with Leo’s near-god-level Cosmo, the strength of the eighteen divine-cloth Saints, and the other Saints empowered by Athena’s blood, the balance of power shifted.

Athena’s Cosmo gradually overwhelmed Hades’. Her shield lifted, forcing Hades’ sword back, and soon Hades himself was bent under the pressure.

“Impossible! This is absolutely impossible! How can I lose to you again?!”

Hades desperately tried to burn more of his Cosmo, but against such overwhelming power, his efforts were futile.

Realizing he was at a disadvantage, Hades began to consider fleeing. He could not withstand Athena and the combined power of all the Saints, but escaping was still an easy option.

After all, this Pure Land of Elysium was a domain of his own creation.

Once he escaped, he could defeat Athena and the Saints one by one, and as a god, time was meaningless to him. He could wait for this generation of Saints to die of old age and secure victory in the next Holy War.

More importantly, if he fled, no one could stop the eternal Nine Star Alignment that he had set in motion, ensuring his victory in this Holy War as well.

But as the god of the underworld, Hades found it disgraceful to flee in the middle of battle. However, with all his followers dead, and knowing that Athena and the Saints would eventually die, no one would know of his retreat—so it wouldn’t matter.

Just as Hades was debating whether to flee, a sharp pain struck his back. A long sword, enveloped in blue flames, pierced through his body and emerged from his chest.

Hades let out a piercing scream that echoed throughout the Pure Land of Elysium.

It was Leo, who had secretly used the Southern Bright Flame Sword to backstab Hades while Athena held him at bay.

Leo’s greatest strength was not his Cosmo but the power of the celestial energy within him.

Even though he had channeled all the Saints’ Cosmos into Athena, he could still wield the Southern Bright Flame Sword with the power of his celestial energy to launch a devastating attack.

As it happened, the Southern Bright Flame Sword’s power was the perfect counter to Hades’ dark energy, which resulted in this powerful strike.

With Hades’ divine body pierced and burned by the Southern Bright Flame Sword, his Cosmo shrank. Seizing the opportunity, Athena thrust her golden staff into Hades.

This double blow destroyed Hades’ physical form and severely damaged his soul.

As Hades’ soul began to drift toward reincarnation, Leo teleported and captured it, sealing it within his *Tsukuyomi* world.

In this world, gods do not truly die—not even the Twin Gods. However, with their physical forms destroyed, they are reduced to mere souls, like Poseidon. When they reincarnate in the future, their power will be drastically diminished.

To prevent Hades and the Twin Gods from reincarnating and starting another Holy War, Leo sealed their souls within his *Tsukuyomi* world.

Now, they could no longer reincarnate, and the Holy War was truly over.

With Hades’ physical form destroyed and his soul sealed, the Pure Land of Elysium and the underworld—both created by Hades’ power—would also collapse. From now on, humans who died would no longer enter the underworld but follow the natural cycle of reincarnation.

Of course, that was the explanation he gave to Athena and the Saints.

In reality, Leo sealed Hades and the Twin Gods to use their Cosmos to hone his own. He sought to understand the ninth sense, Amala Consciousness, and enter the realm of the gods.

And once his *Tsukuyomi* world grew stronger, he might even absorb the souls of Poseidon, Hades, and the Twin Gods to further enhance his power.

“The Pure Land of Elysium is collapsing! We need to leave now!”

After sealing Hades, Leo retrieved the Underworld Divine Sword, imbued with destructive power, and transported all the Saints and Elysium’s spirits into his *Tsukuyomi* world. He then took Athena and returned to the underworld.

He also picked up this era’s Pandora and escaped the underworld just before it collapsed, returning to the human world.

“The Holy War is finally over!”

Above the city of Heinstein, everyone breathed a sigh of relief as they watched the entrance to the underworld disappear completely.

Unlike previous Holy Wars, where the Saints were trapped in the Sanctuary and barely a handful survived, this time they had stormed the underworld, even reaching the Pure Land of Elysium.

They had crushed the underworld army, defeated the true form of Hades, and sealed him away, thus ending the war.

And all of this was thanks to their Pope, Leo.

Everyone couldn’t help but look at Leo with admiration. Without him, even if they had won, they might not have survived.

“Restore everything to its original state!”

With the underworld’s entrance gone, Leo casually restored Heinstein city to its original state, placed Pandora down, and then led the Saints back to the Sanctuary.

After a round of celebrations upon their return, Leo handed the position of Pope back to Shion, citing his need to focus on suppressing Poseidon, Hades, and the Twin Gods. With that, he vanished from the Sanctuary.

“It’s time to go home.”

Syncing the timelines between the Saint Seiya world and his main world, Leo returned to the Marvel universe.
