MWM Chapter 569

This entry is part 570 of 599 in the series In Marvel: I Start by Marying Scarlett Witch

At the Hong Kong Sanctum, Kaecilius, who had just killed the Ancient One, stood with his followers facing Wong and the group of sorcerers defending the Sanctum.

“Wong, you’re on the wrong side.”

“No one can destroy the Sanctum in front of me. No one!”

Wong held his artifact, his expression firm.

Five minutes later, Wong and all the Sanctum’s defenders lay on the ground.

Facing Kaecilius, who had absorbed dark energy and greatly increased his power, they were no match.

“Boom!”

After destroying the Sanctum’s magic barrier from the inside, Kaecilius and his followers stood at the Sanctum’s window, starting the incantation to summon Dormammu:

“Great Lord of Darkness, Dormammu, your servant Kaecilius has cleared the obstacles for you. Descend, devour this world, and grant us eternal life!”

As his incantation ended, the sky over Hong Kong darkened. A massive spatial rift appeared, and an immense amount of dark energy began to spill out from the crack.

Dormammu, from the Dark Dimension, sensed Kaecilius’s call and sent a portion of his power across the multiverse’s barrier, preparing to descend upon Earth.

“Such a massive amount of dark energy.”

Just as Dormammu was about to arrive, a familiar voice suddenly rang out from behind Kaecilius, who had been ready to celebrate his victory.

Kaecilius turned to look and his pupils immediately shrank.

“It’s you. I advise you not to stand in my way. Otherwise, you’ll end up like the Ancient One, killed by me right here.”

Kaecilius recognized the newcomer—Leo, a regular visitor to Kamar-Taj and a close friend of the Ancient One.

He also knew how powerful Leo was.

However, now that Kaecilius had absorbed a significant amount of dark energy, becoming powerful enough to kill even the Ancient One, the most powerful Sorcerer Supreme, he no longer feared Leo.

“A summer insect cannot discuss ice.”

With a glance at Kaecilius, Leo raised his hand and threw a punch.

“You’re asking for death!”

Kaecilius immediately unleashed a vast amount of dark energy from within to form a shield, while simultaneously summoning blades of space with both hands, intending to kill Leo.

Yet, the powerful shield that had been able to block the Ancient One shattered like fragile foam under Leo’s fist.

“This is impossible!”

Kaecilius and all his followers disintegrated into nothingness under Leo’s lightspeed punches, leaving behind only a terrified and disbelieving exclamation.

“To think someone so weak truly believed they could kill the Ancient One.”

Shaking his head, Leo raised his hand and cast a healing spell, reviving Wong and the others.

Given the Ancient One’s strength, there was no way she could have been killed by someone who merely absorbed a bit of dark energy. She was simply tired of living too long and had passed the mantle of Sorcerer Supreme to Doctor Strange, whose magical potential was far greater. Her soul had followed Eternity into the multiverse for further training.

“Master Leo, Dormammu is about to emerge. What do we do now?”

Wong stood up and, seeing the massive crack in the sky, anxiously asked.

In this situation, he was powerless. His only hope lay in the immensely powerful Leo.

“Restore to its original state!”

Leo raised his hand, casting a repair spell on the destroyed Sanctum.

Under his immense magical power, the Sanctum began to restore itself rapidly.

With the power of the Sanctum restored, the crack in the sky immediately stopped expanding.

“This world is mine now, Dormammu’s, and you cannot stop me!”

At that moment, a thunderous roar suddenly echoed from the crack. Two enormous black hands emerged from the tear, attempting to force it open wider to enter.

“You protect the Sanctum here. I’ll deal with him!”

After instructing Wong, Leo donned the Sacred Armor of Sagittarius, concealed his presence with magic, and stealthily teleported to the edge of the crack.

Restoring one Sanctum was enough to temporarily stall Dormammu, but he wasn’t foolish enough to fully repair all three, which would lock Dormammu completely outside.

“You cannot stop me. This world is mine, just like the others.”

Dormammu’s massive head began to push through the rift as his two dark-energy hands tore it open wider.

“What a perfect position. Take this sword strike!”

Seeing Dormammu’s gigantic head, Leo immediately summoned the Hades Sword—his spoils from Hades—and slashed at Dormammu’s neck.

The Hades Sword was a top-tier divine weapon from the world of the Saints, imbued with god-slaying power. With Leo’s current god-level cosmos and his powerful body, he cleaved off half of Dormammu’s neck in a single stroke.

“You dare ambush me! What is this power?”

Dormammu, his neck half severed and assaulted by god-slaying energy, let out a roar of fury.

But he didn’t realize this was only the beginning.

“Southern Bright Flame Sword, go!”

Alongside the Hades Sword, Leo unleashed the Southern Bright Flame Sword, piercing Dormammu’s eye.

The Southern Bright Flame Sword, which was especially effective against negative energy, caused Dormammu to cry out in pain once again.

“You worm! I will kill you!”

At last, Dormammu noticed Leo and spewed dark energy capable of destroying planets while ripping the crack fully open, revealing his massive form in the sky over Hong Kong.

“Three-headed, six-armed Susanoo!”

Leo’s golden, three-headed, six-armed Susanoo instantly enveloped him, blocking Dormammu’s dark energy assault.

Leo’s Susanoo, now standing 100,000 meters tall, was just as imposing as Dormammu’s massive form.

Leo raised his golden bow and fired a barrage of arrows at Dormammu, forcing him to summon more dark energy to block the attack.

“Time Stop!”

A dragon’s roar struck Dormammu.

After his discussions with the Saic Sect and trading time laws with the god Hermæus Mora, Leo had evolved his time-slowing Dragon Roar into the ultimate Time Stop.

With their souls on par in strength, Leo’s roar froze Dormammu’s avatar in place.

Leo then unleashed a flurry of golden spears, leaving Dormammu riddled with holes.

However, as the Dark Lord, Dormammu quickly broke free from the time-stopping spell and used his dark energy to heal the wounds.

Yet, instead of attacking Leo, Dormammu turned to flee back through the crack.

He realized that Leo’s power rivaled his own, and with his injuries from underestimating him, he risked losing his avatar if the battle continued.

“Trying to run?”

Prepared for this, Leo used a golden rope to bind Dormammu and unleashed another dragon roar.

“Dragon Soul Rend!”

His goal was to destroy Dormammu’s avatar, not merely repel him. There was no way he would allow Dormammu to escape.
