MWM Chapter 570

This entry is part 571 of 599 in the series In Marvel: I Start by Marying Scarlett Witch

Under the attack of Leo’s Dragon Soul Rend, Dormammu’s body not only fell into a state of paralysis, but even his soul nearly lost control over his avatar. He felt something he hadn’t experienced in eons— the pain of death.

As the Lord of Darkness, Dormammu had devoured countless worlds, and his followers, who wielded his power, could achieve immortality—let alone himself. Death had long since ceased to be a concern for him.

Yet today, he truly felt the agonizing fear of death, just like when he was a weak mortal.

“Tsukuyomi!”

Seeing that his combo of attacks had left Dormammu defenseless and weakened, Leo activated the Rinne Sharingan with nine tomoe. He tugged the golden rope, pulling Dormammu instantly into the world of Tsukuyomi.

Simultaneously, Leo’s true form followed into the world.

“World Suppression!”

Just as Dormammu was beginning to recover from the Dragon Soul Rend, he realized he had entered another world. His avatar’s strength was instantly suppressed, unable to exert even half of its original power.

“It’s over!”

As one of the most experienced dimensional demons, Dormammu immediately sensed what was happening. He now found himself in the domain of another dimensional god whose strength rivaled his own. In this realm, his power was greatly weakened while his opponent’s was amplified.

He had already been on the losing side, and now escape seemed nearly impossible.

“Which demon god are you, to have plotted against my body like this? I will remember you!”

Dormammu, glaring at Leo’s true form floating in the air, roared in fury. His body began to swell rapidly—he was preparing to self-destruct.

Since he couldn’t retrieve this avatar, Dormammu decided to detonate it, hoping to inflict some damage on his opponent’s dimension as a final act of vengeance.

“Damn, you’re giving up so soon? At least struggle a bit longer.”

Realizing that Dormammu was about to self-destruct, Leo’s face changed. He hadn’t expected Dormammu to act so decisively.

But it only confirmed one thing: any demon who reached this level was truly formidable.

“Good thing I came prepared. Super Four Symbols Seal!”

With a swift motion of his hands, Leo immediately activated his backup plan.

From the four corners of the Tsukuyomi world—east, west, north, and south—four powerful energy beams shot up into the sky, transforming into massive chains of energy.

The four chains sped toward Dormammu’s avatar, tightly wrapping around him. Using the power of the Four Symbols Seal, they suppressed the dark energy that was about to explode.

Leo had anticipated that Dormammu’s avatar might be too strong to handle, so he had meticulously prepared this enhanced version of the Four Symbols Seal, built upon the sealed souls of Poseidon, the God of Death, the God of Sleep, and Hades. Their divine essence served as the foundation to suppress Dormammu.

“It’s over!”

Once Dormammu was subdued, Leo unleashed a relentless barrage of attacks, utterly destroying the avatar. The remnants were absorbed into the Tsukuyomi world, further enhancing its core strength.

“Mission complete. You may now enter the next small world at any time.”

As the voice echoed in his mind, a smile appeared on Leo’s face.

What once seemed like an insurmountable threat—a dimensional demon god—was now just another foe he could trample underfoot.

Exiting the Tsukuyomi world, Leo’s figure flickered as he returned to the Hong Kong Sanctum.

By now, not only were Wong and the other sorcerers present, but also Doctor Strange and Baron Mordo, who had rushed to stop Kaecilius from summoning Dormammu.

“Wong, what just happened? Who was that golden giant? Why did Dormammu vanish?”

Doctor Strange, still in shock, questioned Wong.

He had just bid farewell to the Ancient One and resolved to take on the responsibility of Sorcerer Supreme. With a hastily convinced Baron Mordo, he had used a portal to arrive at the Hong Kong Sanctum, only to witness the Dark Lord Dormammu, who was said to devour worlds, being utterly beaten by Leo.

“That was Master Leo, the one I mentioned to you before. He came and killed Kaecilius and the other traitors, then repaired the Sanctum. I never imagined he was this powerful—not even Dormammu is a match for him!”

Wong explained, still in awe.

To be honest, Wong had known Leo for a long time and was aware of his strength. But he had never expected Leo to be this strong—far beyond his wildest imagination.

“The Ancient One taught us to avoid the Dark Dimension, yet she herself absorbed its power to prolong her life. She was always using us as pawns, violating the natural order.

If not for her, Kaecilius wouldn’t have pursued the dark energy or summoned Dormammu. This is all a punishment for defying nature’s laws. Even if it’s over this time, it will happen again and again.”

While Doctor Strange and Wong seemed relieved, Baron Mordo’s expression remained grim.

“Perhaps sorcerers shouldn’t exist in this world. I can’t continue down this path anymore. Farewell.”

With a wave of his hand, Mordo opened a portal, preparing to leave Kamar-Taj and walk away from it all.

But before he could step through, a figure appeared and closed the portal.

“If you’re leaving Kamar-Taj, you’ll have to leave behind everything you’ve learned here.”

Leo pointed at Mordo:

“Obliviate!”

A memory-wiping spell instantly sealed all of Mordo’s memories from his time at Kamar-Taj.

Leo had just received a side quest to erase Mordo’s memories to prevent future magical incidents, with a reward of three months in a small world.

He had taken care of it effortlessly.

“You must be Strange, the one the Ancient One spoke of. You truly have remarkable magical potential.”

“Mordo, what happened to him?”

Doctor Strange looked concerned as he watched Mordo walk out of the Sanctum.

Despite their differing ideologies, Mordo had guided Strange during his early days at Kamar-Taj, and he still cared for him.

“His thoughts were dangerous. Letting him leave could have caused great trouble for Kamar-Taj in the future. Don’t worry, I only erased part of his memory. He’ll live out the rest of his life as an ordinary man.”

Leo smiled.

Doctor Strange nodded in agreement:

“That’s for the best. Thank you for helping us deal with Dormammu.”

“It was just an avatar. After all, I’m still a part of Kamar-Taj, so it’s nothing. If you ever face difficulties you can’t solve, feel free to come to me.”

Leo patted Doctor Strange on the shoulder and vanished with a teleportation spell.

“It was just an avatar, huh? I think he’d make a better Sorcerer Supreme.”

Doctor Strange mimicked Leo’s words with a smile and half-seriously suggested to Wong.

Wong shook his head:

“He wouldn’t agree. He has his own company, and he has a wife and kids. He can’t stay at the Sanctum full-time.”

“What, he has a wife and kids? I don’t even have that yet. By the way, why does he look so familiar?”

Doctor Strange shrugged jealously, then suddenly froze as if remembering something.

“Now I get it! I should have known!”

Only then did he realize that the sorcerer who had saved the day was none other than the hero called the Sorcerer King—the strongest Avenger who had once repelled an alien invasion in New York.
