**Chapter 124: Returning to School with the Grandest Welcome!**

It was no surprise to Fang Ye that someone would want to question him.

The disappearance of the Forbidden Zone was such a significant event that it would have been odd if the military didn’t respond.

“Thank you for cooperating, Fang Ye,” Colonel Wu said. “You’re free to leave now.”

Fang Ye nodded and left the room.

Meanwhile, in a nearby meeting room, several high-ranking military officials watched on a surveillance monitor as Fang Ye exited.

After a long silence, a general finally spoke. “What do you think? How much of what this young man said is believable?”

“About 80%,” a major general replied. “Based on what we know about the Forbidden Zone, the white-spiked creatures did indeed appear suddenly on the human planet in 2048. There was no evidence of any unidentified flying objects entering the atmosphere. The student’s claim that he found these creatures during a peaceful era is quite credible—perhaps even 100% logical as an explanation.”

“Oh?” The general smiled. “Then why did you say only 80%?”

The major general explained, “Because others must have thought of the same thing and attempted similar strategies. Yet only he succeeded in locating the creatures, and in just a few days. I’m certain this kid is hiding something from us—he’s not telling the whole truth.”

Indeed, there was no shortage of clever people.

The major general’s reasoning made sense.

The general nodded after hearing the explanation.

“Should we question him again?” the major general suggested.

The general understood what that meant. If they questioned Fang Ye again, it would be with less friendliness.

After a moment of thought, the general shook his head. “No need. The disappearance of the Forbidden Zone is actually beneficial for our Fifth Military District. At least we no longer need to allocate resources to guard it.”

“As for what this young man is hiding—it’s irrelevant.”

The major general paused, then added, “General, I’ve reviewed Fang Ye’s records. This young man is remarkable. In his very first mission in Forbidden Zone #2, he broke records and achieved the highest evaluation. In Forbidden Zone #3, he did the same. And now, he’s succeeded again.”

“To date, he has never failed a mission. He is the strongest newcomer we’ve ever seen, with unlimited potential. The only oddity is his choice of a C-rank hero during the entrance exam. For someone of his caliber, such a choice seems nonsensical. I suspect that C-rank hero might have hidden potential or an unknown ability.”

“Oh? What’s the name of this C-rank hero?” the general asked, intrigued.

“**Caped Baldy.**”

The general was silent for a moment.

“That’s… quite a name.”

The major general continued, “This is just my personal theory, but I’d like your permission to recruit some volunteers from the next batch of recruits to test compatibility with this C-rank hero.”

The general thought for a moment before nodding. “Go ahead, but it must be voluntary. No coercion.”

“Understood,” the major general replied, standing at attention.

This proposal was inspired by Fang Ye’s remarkable achievements. However, the truth was that many had already attempted to use **Saitama’s Constitution** without success.

Without knowledge of the “Saitama Training Regimen,” simply achieving compatibility wouldn’t lead to any attribute enhancements.

All such attempts would end in failure.

Fang Ye, of course, was unaware that his performance had drawn attention to **Saitama** among C-rank heroes.

Even if he knew, he wouldn’t care much. He understood that as he rose in prominence, others would scrutinize every detail of his past, hoping to uncover the secret of his success.

It was only a matter of time before people focused on Saitama.

They’d eventually realize the effort was futile and give up.

At that moment, Fang Ye had already left the base.

Outside the gates, Su Ziqiu and the others were waiting for him.

“Fang Ye!”

“Brother Fang!”

When Fang Ye appeared, they quickly gathered around him.

“Why are you the only ones here? Where are the others from the other schools?” Fang Ye asked.

Zheng Bing replied, “They’ve already left.”

“Fang Ye, are you okay? What did they want from you?” Su Ziqiu asked.

“It’s fine. They just asked a few questions,” Fang Ye replied, avoiding further discussion. “Let’s head back.”

Everyone agreed. They’d been waiting for Fang Ye to return before leaving.

When Fang Ye and his group returned to school, they were greeted with an overwhelming reception.

The school’s principal, along with a group of administrators, personally waited at the gates to welcome them back. It felt less like students returning to school and more like a grand inspection by dignitaries.

To make things even more dramatic.

The campus was adorned with large banners:

“Congratulations to Martial Saint Academy for Winning the National Newcomer Championship!”

“Welcome Home, Champion Team!”

“Learn from the Champion Team’s Example—Bring Honor to Our School!”**

The returning group became the center of attention, making Fang Ye feel incredibly self-conscious.

The others, however, enjoyed the limelight, basking in the applause and admiration.

The school also organized a formal commendation ceremony, awarding Fang Ye and his team substantial monetary bonuses.

Teachers and administrators, like Yan Tai and the dean, were also recognized for their leadership in the missions and their efforts to fend off threats.

After the ceremony, the school treated all students to a grand feast in the cafeteria, free of charge. The festive atmosphere lasted well into the evening.

By the time Fang Ye returned to his private dormitory, it was already past 10 PM.

Fang Ye resumed his usual routine the following day.

Daily training continued, and his attributes skyrocketed.

Initially, Fang Ye assumed that as his stats increased, the effects of his fixed training regimen would diminish.

For example, when he first started, completing 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10-kilometer run took most of the day and left him utterly exhausted.

Now, he could finish the same routine in under an hour with ease.

Typically, as physical fitness improves, maintaining the same training intensity leads to diminishing returns.

But for Fang Ye, the opposite was true.

Despite sticking to his standard regimen, his attributes increased more than ever.

Previously, his daily training yielded around 30 attribute points on average—10 points each for physique and strength, 8 points for agility, and 2 points for mental strength.

Now, his daily gains had nearly doubled to 60 points.

This exponential growth was astonishing.

The power of Saitama’s Constitution was undeniable.

“No wonder Saitama became so invincible after three years. At this rate, it won’t even take me three years to reach astronomical attribute levels!” Fang Ye thought to himself.
