**Chapter 127: The Battle Begins! The Terrifying Whitebeard**

**Forbidden Zone #4.**

Located on the outskirts of Tai’an City, it was a considerable distance from Martial Saint Academy.

After leaving school, Fang Ye traveled alone by car to the entrance of Forbidden Zone #4.

As with other significant Forbidden Zones, the military maintained strict security at the entrance.

When Fang Ye arrived, it was already past 1 PM. A long line of people was queued up outside the gates, numbering over a hundred.

Military personnel guarded the entrance, with two soldiers meticulously inspecting everyone’s identification.

It was clear that the government tightly controlled access to such critical zones, ensuring criminals or enemies of the state couldn’t enter.

This measure was reassuring, as it helped curb the rise of crime. Anyone hoping to abuse newfound powers would have to consider the consequence of being barred from future Forbidden Zones.

Fang Ye checked the time: 1:20 PM.

Forbidden Zones typically opened at 2 PM sharp.

Having already had lunch on the way and feeling in good condition, Fang Ye decided that today was the perfect time to explore Forbidden Zone #4.

After waiting in line for about 30 minutes, his turn finally came.

The soldier at the gate checked his student ID and waved him through without issue.

By the time Fang Ye reached the entrance of the zone, it was nearly 1:50 PM.

Just a few more minutes, and the zone would open.

Outside the entrance, groups of people were silently waiting. Fang Ye’s arrival didn’t draw much attention—most of the crowd consisted of young people like him.

Only a few girls noticed him.

“Ladies! Check out the hottie!”

“Where? Where?”

“To your left…”

“Wow, he’s seriously handsome! And that physique, oh my…”

“Quit drooling, or I’ll pretend I don’t know you!”

Hearing their chatter, Fang Ye remained unfazed.

He’d grown accustomed to this sort of attention over the past three months. Ever since he took the Super Soldier Serum, his appearance had transformed, regularly drawing interest from women.

In fact, on the bus ride earlier, a bold young woman had even asked for his contact information.

*(So boys, when traveling alone, always stay vigilant!)*

Finally, at 2 PM, the entrance to the Forbidden Zone glowed with black light, signaling its activation.

One by one, people began stepping into the zone.

Fang Ye followed suit, stepping forward without hesitation.

In the blink of an eye, he found himself in a white preparation room.

“Please select your faction!”

“Option 1: Navy Faction.”

“Option 2: Pirate Faction.”

Fang Ye chose the Pirate Faction without hesitation.

He had already made this decision before arriving.

As a fan of *One Piece*’s “Summit War” arc, Fang Ye had always been deeply moved by the tragic fates of Ace and Whitebeard. Now that he had a chance to intervene, he naturally sided with the pirates.

More importantly, Fang Ye believed the Pirate Faction offered more opportunities for impactful contributions, aligning with his goal of achieving the highest mission evaluation.

As soon as he made his choice, red light flashed before his eyes, and he was teleported.

When his vision cleared, he found himself aboard a ship.

His attire had changed into a scruffy pirate outfit, complete with a hat and a long sword. He now looked the part of a low-ranking pirate crew member.

This transformation was clearly engineered by the zone to help participants blend into their environment.

Around him were numerous other pirates dressed similarly, all standing at attention, preparing for the battle ahead.

The ship Fang Ye stood on was enormous—despite being made primarily of wood, it rivaled the size of an aircraft carrier.

Interestingly, the ship wasn’t floating on the ocean’s surface but traveling rapidly underwater.

A transparent membrane surrounded the ship, keeping the seawater at bay—a marvel of design.

The vessel functioned like a massive submarine, navigating through the depths. Giant fish swam overhead, their sheer size intimidating.

But none of this captured Fang Ye’s attention.

What truly mesmerized him was the figure standing on the bow.

The man, wielding a massive blade, stood as firm as a mountain. Even from behind, his presence exuded unparalleled strength.

There was no mistaking him.

**Whitebeard.**

Seeing Whitebeard, Fang Ye’s eyes lit up with excitement.

Standing approximately six meters tall, Whitebeard radiated an aura of unmatched power. Even standing still, his mere presence was oppressive.

Behind Whitebeard stood several of his commanders: **Marco the Phoenix**, **Diamond Jozu**, **Flower Sword Vista**, and others. Each of them exuded formidable energy, clearly seasoned warriors.

Fang Ye’s gaze flickered as he identified the ship.

‘If Whitebeard is here, this must be the Moby Dick, the flagship of the Whitebeard Pirates!’

He hesitated for a moment, debating whether to approach Whitebeard for a conversation.

In the end, he decided against it.

The Moby Dick was unusually quiet.

All the pirates were busy polishing their weapons, preparing for the impending battle.

Everyone aboard understood the stakes of the upcoming war. The risks were immense, and many of them might not survive.

Despite this, there was no fear or hesitation.

They were Whitebeard Pirates. For their captain, they would march into hell itself without complaint.

The charged atmosphere even affected Fang Ye, who found himself growing solemn as he awaited his mission.

Moments later, the Moby Dick began ascending.

“Everyone, prepare yourselves! We’re surfacing soon!” Marco announced loudly.

The pirates tensed at his words, gripping their weapons tightly.

Then, in one swift motion, the **Moby Dick burst through the surface of the sea**…
