Chapter 214: Breaking Free from the Time Prison, Defeating Hit

“What? He can still move?!”

On the Sixth Universe’s spectator stand, Xiang Pa, who had originally thought victory was guaranteed, now stared in shock as the two fighters collided—his jaw almost dropping to the floor!

What in the world was going on?

The rapid series of ups and downs was enough to throw even a Destroyer God like him off balance.

Behind him, Beerus’ companion, Whis, was equally stunned by Fang Ye’s sudden counterattack.

“What exactly happened? That…?”

Whis’ gaze sharpened as he focused on Fang Ye, whose hands were now glowing with elemental energy.

“It seems like his hands are made of fire, and the time prison has no effect on him whatsoever!”

“Elementalization? What’s that?!”

Xiang Pa, hearing a term he’d never encountered before, immediately asked, his curiosity piqued.

“It’s nothing. Just watch the match… It’s still hard to say who’ll win this.”

Whis sighed and turned his attention back to the arena.

On the Seventh Universe’s side, Beerus, who had already given up hope, suddenly shot up in shock at the loud explosion coming from the ring.

“What’s happening?!”

Beerus stood up and stared at the arena, where the spot Fang Ye had been standing was now ablaze with intense flames.

Even from a distance, Beerus could feel the terrifying heat radiating from the flames.

“It seems like Fang Ye still has some tricks up his sleeve!”

“Tricks? You mean this explosion was caused by Fang Ye?”

Beerus widened his eyes and pointed at the explosion in disbelief, looking to Whis for confirmation.

“Yes,” Whis nodded.

“Damn, that was a great move, Fang Ye! Woohoo!”

Beerus suddenly got excited and jumped around in the stands, hugging the Old Kai.

“Lord Beerus, please, my neck is going to break…”

In the arena, Hit, who had believed victory was assured, was preparing to leave.

But the sudden explosion caught him off guard!

“What?!”

Hit frowned and crossed his arms in front of himself to block the intense flames!

A wave of scorching heat blasted toward him!

The flames were so overwhelming that even his armor was beginning to catch fire!

Quickly, he entered the Time-Space, using the brief time dilation to escape!

“Not so fast!”

A figure shot out of the explosion—it was Fang Ye!

At that moment, he had broken free from the time prison!

Moving at an incredible speed, Fang Ye’s fiery hands, now transformed into molten claws, swiped at Hit!

“Time-Space!”

Sensing the scorching heat closing in, Hit didn’t hesitate and once again activated his Time-Space ability!

The energy reserves that had been depleted were now pushed further by his continuous use of the ability.

Fang Ye, seeing Hit’s movement, sped up even more!

This was his best chance to defeat Hit, and he wasn’t going to let it slip away!

Boom! Boom!

Fang Ye’s hands released jets of flames, propelling him forward faster!

Boom!

Flames erupted from his back, scorching the ring!

The distance between them was rapidly closing.

Ten meters…

Eight meters…

Five meters…

Three meters…

Seeing Fang Ye closing in, Hit furrowed his brow.

At this point, he was too weak to activate Time-Space again.

Without this powerful technique for both offense and escape, what was he supposed to do?

Suddenly, Hit turned to face Fang Ye directly.

Fang Ye stopped, standing just two meters away, facing him.

“Hit, this ends now.”

Fang Ye’s eyes were cold and serious.

“Fine.”

Hit smiled bitterly and nodded but still assumed a battle stance.

“I will use my full strength, my killing technique. Of course, if I kill you, I will be erased too… but that doesn’t matter anymore.”

Hit glanced at Kale and Caulifla, the thought of Jiren from the Eleventh Universe flashing in his mind… and he shook his head.

The gap was simply too vast!

Even though there was a huge gap between him and Jiren, with his Time-Space ability, there might still be a chance.

He looked at Fang Ye, a cold killing intent in his eyes.

“What will you do now?”

A smirk appeared on Hit’s face, and the aura of the Sixth Universe’s deadliest assassin was unmistakable.

In an instant, Hit disappeared from his spot!

Not Time-Space, but pure speed!

Fang Ye’s veins popped as he activated his Byakugan, focusing with all his might…

Hit’s speed was so fast that he appeared at various strange angles, trying to find the most advantageous attack position.

However, he completely overlooked the effect of Fang Ye’s Byakugan.

Standing still, Fang Ye’s Byakugan locked on to him, eyes eerily calm.

“Now!”

Suddenly, Hit attacked!

With all his energy gathered in his right fist, he struck at Fang Ye’s back!

The target—Fang Ye’s heart!

This was his signature killing technique: a fast, precise strike to the vital point, aimed to destroy the enemy’s internal structure.

It was meant to minimize pain and suffering for those about to die.

But as Hit’s fist neared Fang Ye’s back, he had a bad feeling…

Just as the fist was about to strike, Fang Ye suddenly turned, catching Hit’s punch with his palm!

“What?!”

Hit stared in disbelief at his own fist caught in Fang Ye’s hand!

“You… when did you find my position?”

Hit’s bad premonition had come true, and now, he wasn’t panicking. He faced Fang Ye directly.

“You were always in my sight.”

Fang Ye slowly turned, and the two locked eyes once more.

Looking at Fang Ye’s gaze, Hit suddenly smiled.

“As expected, I don’t like being seen through like that.”

Fang Ye smiled faintly and began to gather a fireball in his right hand.

“Goodbye.”

The moment the words left his mouth, the energy ball shot out without hesitation!

Boom!

The massive fireball sent Hit flying into the sky, far away from the arena!

In the next second, under Fang Ye’s control, the fireball disappeared into thin air, and Hit’s body lost all momentum, plummeting toward the bottomless abyss below!

“Sixth Universe’s assassin Hit has been knocked out of the arena. The match continues!”

The Grand Priest, watching the battle finally come to an end with Hit falling from the arena, declared firmly.

On the platform, he adjusted the controls for the King of All.

Hit’s avatar, the ace assassin of the Sixth Universe, turned gray.
