OKSTS Chapter 25

**Chapter 25: Mission Accomplished, Returning in Style!**

Fang Ye heard the sounds of fighting and gunfire behind him.

But he didn’t look back and walked away without hesitation.

His only objective in entering Forbidden Zone No. 2 was to complete Mission 3.

Nothing else concerned him!

Even if Alice failed and died in battle, it didn’t matter.

Because—

Once they left Forbidden Zone No. 2, everything inside would reset and return to its original state.

Not just Forbidden Zone No. 2—all the forbidden zones worked this way!

For instance, in the *One Punch Man* forbidden zone, Saitama would always remain a C-class hero, never advancing to B-class, regardless of how much time passed…

When Fang Ye emerged from the Hive and returned to the surface, he noticed the drivers of the two buses frantically trying to start the vehicles.

It turned out that several zombies had been attracted by the living humans and were now howling as they slowly approached the buses.

Fang Ye’s sudden appearance startled a few nearby zombies, who began moving toward him.

Without hesitation, Fang Ye smashed the serum vial in his hand against the ground.

“Crash!”

The glass tube shattered, releasing the T-virus serum into the air.

With the help of a gentle breeze, the serum spread quickly, dispersing into the atmosphere.

In an instant!

The approaching zombies collapsed one by one, like robots whose power had been cut, dying swiftly.

The serum had neutralized the T-virus within them.

Since they had long been nothing but walking corpses, without the T-virus to sustain them, they died quickly.

The serum continued to spread.

The horde of zombies chasing after the buses fell just as quickly, collapsing in rows like harvested wheat.

In the blink of an eye, the ground was littered with bodies.

The survivors on the buses were stunned by the scene…

Just then, a voice echoed deep in Fang Ye’s mind:

[Congratulations! You have completed Mission 3 and saved the world!]

[Please note, you will leave this world in 10 seconds…]

Fang Ye was briefly taken aback.

He had assumed the mission would only be complete after the serum had spread globally and wiped out all T-virus infections.

But unexpectedly—

Simply releasing the serum was enough to complete the mission.

Fang Ye grinned.

This was even better; now he wouldn’t have to waste time waiting around.

It made sense, though.

If the mission required waiting for the serum to reach every corner of the globe and kill all infected by the T-virus, even a month wouldn’t have been enough!

Since the serum had already been dispersed into the air and the T-virus had nowhere to hide, it was only a matter of time before it was eradicated. Counting the mission as complete now seemed perfectly reasonable.

[10, 9, 8… 3, 2, 1!]

The countdown ended.

Fang Ye’s figure suddenly vanished from the spot, disappearing into thin air.

This scene was witnessed by the survivors on the buses, leading them to believe that Fang Ye was a divine being sent to save them.

Many immediately got off the buses, kneeling and praying at the spot where Fang Ye had vanished…

At the exit of Forbidden Zone No. 2.

In a small break room.

A dozen teachers were sitting around, chatting idly.

“Ring ring ring…”

Suddenly, the sound of an alarm broke the peace, startling everyone.

One of the teachers glanced at the time and said, “An hour’s up; the students should be coming out now. Let’s go meet them!”

Upon hearing this, the other teachers stood up, ready to welcome their students.

It’s important to note—

The flow of time inside the forbidden zones is not the same as in the real world.

In Forbidden Zone No. 2—

No matter how long you stay inside, only an hour passes in the outside world!

So, even though Fang Ye had only spent a few hours completing the most difficult task, the time he reemerged was the same as those who had stayed inside for a month.

The mystery of the forbidden zones was indeed beyond human comprehension.

Some people even believed that the forbidden zones were a gift from the gods, offering humanity a chance to save itself!

Without the forbidden zones, humanity on this planet would have long been wiped out by terrifying beasts.

The teachers arrived at the entrance to Forbidden Zone No. 2 and instinctively lined up, waiting patiently.

Before long, the students began to emerge, one by one.

Just as they had entered one at a time, they also exited one by one.

When the first student stepped out, a faint green glow lit up the dark entrance of the zone.

All the teachers noticed this.

“Haha, that’s my student! A green rating, excellent, excellent!” one teacher exclaimed loudly, clearly overjoyed.
