OKSTS Chapter 74

**Chapter 74: Becoming a Celebrity!**

“My strategy for Forbidden Zone 3 was actually quite simple! I controlled a zombie, let it bite others to turn them into zombies, and then killed them to continuously rack up mission points…” Hearing Fang Ye’s strategy, Yan Tai was taken aback. “This strategy of yours…”

“Teacher, are you about to say that this strategy seems a bit ruthless?” Fang Ye smiled. “Rest assured, teacher, all those I let the zombie bite were evildoers who deserved it.” Yan Tai’s expression eased a little at this.

“So, how many zombies did you end up killing to achieve the gold rating?” Yan Tai asked.

Fang Ye answered honestly, “About two hundred thousand.”

“What?” Yan Tai was shocked!

Two hundred thousand!

Not just twenty thousand or a few dozen, but hundreds of thousands of zombies turned and then killed. It was terrifying!

“I also killed over two hundred thousand zombies!” Su Ziqiu added.

Yan Tai looked at his two students, uncertain of how to even respond.

“Zombies are dangerous and fairly strong. How did you manage to control them?” Yan Tai asked.

“Teacher, don’t forget I have the flame ability.” Fang Ye grinned. “Zombies are afraid of fire. Using this weakness, I controlled Old Master Ren right after he turned by disabling his limbs, forcing him to follow my orders. As for the others, before they could fully transform, I cut off their limbs, making it easier to kill them later.”

“Also, drinking too much blood causes zombies to evolve…”

“To avoid losing control, I didn’t let any one zombie last too long and eliminated them before they could evolve,” Fang Ye explained.

Of course, he wasn’t telling the whole truth.

In reality, he had used sheer brute force to keep the zombies in check while inside the forbidden zone.

Yan Tai sighed, “Even with your precautions, it sounds extremely dangerous. You two really pulled off something impressive.”

Fang Ye nodded. “That’s why I teamed up with Su Ziqiu for the entire month. One person alone wouldn’t have the energy or resources to manage everything. If anyone else wants to try my strategy, they’d better bring some partners.”

Yan Tai nodded in understanding, glancing between the two. “So that’s how you both ended up with top ratings!”

From beginning to end—

Su Ziqiu kept quiet.

When it came to lying, it’s best if only one person speaks; two people increase the risk of inconsistency.

Yan Tai suddenly recalled something.

Back at the exit of Forbidden Zone 3, he had overheard some students from Martial God Academy mentioning that the students who didn’t return had also chosen a mission to kill zombies.

It was possible they had attempted a strategy similar to Fang Ye’s.

After all, the strategy was practical and achievable.

Once successfully executed, it was an easy way to earn a high mission rating.

And since the plan was fairly straightforward, it wouldn’t be hard for others to think of it.

Could it be, then, that those missing Martial God Academy students had indeed fallen at Fang Ye’s hands?

Both groups had similar objectives, which could easily lead to conflict.

Yan Tai subtly observed Fang Ye and Su Ziqiu, realizing his students were anything but ordinary.

“Fang Ye, what about your strategy for Forbidden Zone 2? Are you willing to share that?” Yan Tai asked.

Without missing a beat, Fang Ye fabricated a story: “During my time in Forbidden Zone 2, I was being chased by a Licker. I used obstacles to escape, but I kept running and didn’t even notice when the Licker disappeared… Eventually, when I was too exhausted to go on, I stumbled upon a military vehicle nearby. Inside, I found a map leading to a military base.”

“Later, I reached the military base, where I found an arsenal of weapons and ammunition, and started killing zombies one by one…”

Before his current life, Fang Ye had been an avid reader of novels.

His storytelling skills were well-honed.

And if Yan Tai were to ask where that military vehicle was, Fang Ye could just say he was too focused on escaping to remember.

“Well, it’s getting late. You two should head to the cafeteria for some food,” Yan Tai advised. “And stay on campus for now; don’t wander around.”

Even Yan Tai had suspected for a moment that those missing Martial God Academy students might have indeed met their end at Fang Ye’s hands. How much more would others suspect?

Yan Tai was certain that, once word got out, the families behind those students would start eyeing Fang Ye and Su Ziqiu as suspects.

While they couldn’t confront Fang Ye openly, they might resort to underhanded tactics.

An assassination attempt, for instance!

Su Ziqiu was relatively safe.

Yan Tai knew her family, the Su family, was quite influential and not to be trifled with.

Fang Ye, however, was in a more precarious position.

The school had already done a background check on him since he was a promising candidate for special training.

But Fang Ye’s background was simple—an ordinary civilian with no power or influence behind him.

If those families wanted someone to vent their anger on, Fang Ye would likely be their first target!

“Alright, sir, we’ll be on our way then.”

The next day.

News of the Forbidden Zone 3 incident spread, and soon enough, Fang Ye and Su Ziqiu were famous.

Their names circulated not only within their own school but across universities nationwide.

Even on the internet, countless people were discussing them.

The most noticeable change was that whenever Fang Ye walked around campus, he was constantly the focus of attention.

No matter where he went, all eyes were on him.

The looks he received ranged from envy to scorn, awe, and admiration.

Luckily—

Fang Ye had previously requested a single dorm room, which the school had already approved, sparing him from dealing with any roommates…

Fang Ye didn’t care much about others’ opinions.

He continued his daily training, silently building his strength…

**Name:** Fang Ye

**Race:** Human

**Physical:** 522

**Mental:** 309

**Strength:** 521

**Agility:** 503

**Bloodline:** Saitama Physique (Awakened)

**Ability:** Flame!

This was Fang Ye’s current status.

During his time in Forbidden Zone 3, he had trained whenever he could, raising his stats a bit more.

The following day.

Su Ziqiu was at the library reading when she received a phone call.

Seeing the caller ID, she frowned slightly but decided to answer it. “Hello, Mom?”
