OKSTS Chapter 75

**Chapter 75: I Already Have a Boyfriend!**

(*PS: Quick note on the protagonist’s stats: Fang Ye’s mental attribute reached over 300 because he allocated all 150 points he received from Forbidden Zone 3 to his mental attribute. The author missed mentioning this earlier—apologies!*)

“Hello, Mom?”

A mature voice came through the phone, “Ziqiu, are you at school?”

“Yes…”

“Good. I’m at your school entrance.” And with that, she hung up.

This alone showed Su Ziqiu’s mother’s attitude.

No room for discussion.

She simply announced that she was at the school gates, expecting Su Ziqiu to come out and meet her!

Firm. Dominant.

Leaving no space for Su Ziqiu to refuse.

Hearing the busy tone on the line, Su Ziqiu frowned, sighed, put down her book, and quietly left the library.

No matter what, that person was still her mother.

Since she had come all the way to the school, Su Ziqiu had to go meet her.

Just as she stepped out of the library—

A handsome, sunny-looking young man approached, holding a bouquet. He walked toward her with a sincere expression, “Su Ziqiu, I like you!”

A group of students around them started cheering, “Say yes! Say yes!”

To be honest, Su Ziqiu was slightly stunned by the sudden confession.

Once she collected herself, she offered a faint smile.

Although she was smiling, there was a cold distance on her beautiful face. “I’m sorry, but we’re not right for each other.”

With that, she turned and left without even sparing him a second glance.

Leaving the handsome young man standing there in disbelief, his face turning red and then pale with embarrassment.

In truth—

Su Ziqiu had already faced many such confessions. This young man was only a bit bolder than the others.

But no matter who confessed, the result was always the same: rejection. Because her heart had long belonged to someone else…

She quickly put the incident behind her.

A few minutes later—

Su Ziqiu arrived at the school entrance and saw a luxury car parked there.

When the driver spotted her, he promptly opened the back door.

Inside the car, a well-dressed, middle-aged woman sat. She didn’t get out but simply waved her hand, indicating for Su Ziqiu to get in. However, Su Ziqiu approached without getting in, standing by the door as she asked, “Mom, why are you here?”

Seeing that Su Ziqiu didn’t get in as expected, the woman raised her brow slightly, but soon managed a smile. “Just came to check on you. Get in, have lunch with me.”

Hearing this, Su Ziqiu reluctantly got into the car.

She couldn’t refuse a simple lunch; that would be too harsh.

Once Su Ziqiu was inside, Li Yufen said calmly to the driver, “Drive.”

“Where to, Madam?”

“Somewhere clean.”

The car started moving. Half an hour later—

Su Ziqiu and Li Yufen were seated in a high-end restaurant.

One by one, exquisite dishes were placed on the table.

Yet neither mother nor daughter showed any interest in the food; neither seemed to have an appetite.

“Ziqiu, it’s been a while since the semester began, and I haven’t visited you. You’re not holding a grudge, are you?” Li Yufen asked with a smile.

The question made Su Ziqiu feel somewhat uncomfortable.

Since she was old enough to remember, her mother had never spoken to her this kindly.

Her mother’s heart had always been with others, with little regard for her.

Su Ziqiu knew that this change in attitude was likely due to her accomplishments in the forbidden zones, especially her highest mission rating in Zone 3, thanks to Fang Ye’s help.

The incident had become a topic of interest online, so her family must be well aware. “Mom, you must have something to discuss with me?”

Not wanting to play along with the false pretense, Su Ziqiu went straight to the point. “If you have something to say, go ahead.”

A hint of displeasure flickered across Li Yufen’s face. “What? Can’t I come to see you for no reason?”

Used to being domineering at home, she spoke with a commanding presence.

But Su Ziqiu’s expression remained calm. “Of course you can… but that’s not your usual style…”

Her words carried an unspoken meaning that Li Yufen couldn’t miss.

Her daughter was implying that she usually didn’t care, and now she was only here because of ulterior motives.

Anger flashed in Li Yufen’s eyes as she glared at Su Ziqiu.

Su Ziqiu’s face remained serene.

After a moment, Li Yufen suddenly laughed. “Well, you’ve certainly grown up if you’re bold enough to talk back to your mother.”

“I wouldn’t dare; I’m simply stating facts.”

Li Yufen nodded without arguing.

She knew well enough that she had poured all her love and attention onto another child, treating Su Ziqiu with a strict, almost cold detachment. It was no wonder that her daughter harbored resentment.

But even if she could go back, Li Yufen would still make the same choice.

A daughter is a daughter.

She could never be held in the same regard as the direct male heir of the family.

“I did come for a reason,” Li Yufen said, calming herself. “Your achievements at school have reached the family, and your uncles are all praising your success. Even the old man is very pleased.”

Hearing this, Su Ziqiu’s face remained composed, showing no pride or excitement.

Growing up in that environment had matured her beyond her years; she wouldn’t let a few compliments go to her head.

“The Wang family has also heard about you,” Li Yufen continued with a smile. “You remember Uncle Wang, don’t you? He wants to arrange a marriage alliance with our family. Your father has already agreed to it.”

At this, Su Ziqiu’s serene expression finally changed…

“Uncle Wang’s son, Wang Chao, is 22 years old, a third-year student at Martial God Academy. He’s handsome and has a promising future…” Li Yufen continued, “I have his number here; take it down, and when you get the chance…”

“I don’t agree!”

Su Ziqiu cut her off, speaking with a rare assertiveness.

Li Yufen paused, her smile slowly vanishing.

Before she could respond, Su Ziqiu added, “Because, I already have a boyfriend!”
