OKSTS Chapter 88

**Chapter 88: Taking Them Down One by One!**

In the stands,

as they watched Fang Ye finally get serious and crush his way through the battlefield, breaking through high ground, most of the audience became just as focused.

“Martial Saint Academy’s new mid-laner is finally serious—he’s an impressive player, taking down two towers in a row!”

The commentator announced loudly, “East Art Academy is in trouble now. The next key team fight will decide the outcome. If Martial Saint’s other players can provide timely support, East Art is likely to lose!”

But the audience was too engrossed to listen to the commentator anymore.

Everyone was watching intently, not wanting to miss a single moment.

Teachers and leaders from Martial God Academy were also watching carefully.

Particularly, Wang Liang was staring at Fang Ye’s reflection on the screen, his brows tightly knitted.

“Principal, this is the guy I was talking about. You’ve seen his performance; with his strength, it’s highly likely he set a trap to kill Zhao Fusheng’s team. Back in Zone 3, he had the same mission to kill zombies as Zhao Fusheng, with an identical plan.”

Wang Liang, gritting his teeth, spoke to a middle-aged man next to him.

Though he had managed to keep his job, it came at a high price, and he now had a black mark on his record.

If he made another mistake, losing his job would be the least of his concerns.

So his resentment toward Fang Ye was fierce.

The more he thought about it, the more convinced he became that Fang Ye and that girl had ambushed Zhao Fusheng’s team.

Only Wang Liang knew that besides their mission to kill zombies, Zhao Fusheng’s team also had a private task from him, which put them on a collision course with Fang Ye.

The man beside Wang Liang, the vice principal of Martial God Academy, watched Fang Ye seriously but remained silent.

As a leader, he wouldn’t make hasty judgments.

In the backstage lounge,

countless students were also watching the match.

Now,

each student looked serious.

Fang Ye’s performance had made them wary.

“I never would’ve thought a low-tier school would have such a skilled player.”

The voice came from a female student in the Beijing University lounge.

A male student scoffed, “Just a lucky kid who stumbled into some power.”

“Lucky?” another male student sneered. “Two top task ratings don’t come by luck. Zhou Yan, let’s see you get one by chance?”

Zhou Yan’s face darkened. “What’s that supposed to mean, Wang Wuyi?”

“It means you shouldn’t underestimate anyone.”

“Enough! Both of you, be quiet,” the girl interjected again.

The two boys, though clearly still irritated, held their tongues.

It was obvious this girl held the highest position among them and commanded respect.

“Captain,” someone whispered, “I heard that two top students from Martial Saint had likely fallen to this guy in Zone 3.”

“Oh? It seems he’ll be a real threat.”

Zhou Yan muttered, “Captain, you’re exaggerating. I admit he’s skilled, but his teammates are weaklings. Only that archer is somewhat decent. This is a team match; one or two strong players can’t turn the tide.”

The girl glanced at Zhou Yan with a slight smile. “Fine. If we encounter Martial Saint, mid-lane is all yours.”

Zhou Yan’s face twitched, but he tried to sound confident. “Fine, I’ll take care of him!”

Similar conversations were happening among other student groups.

Fang Ye’s overwhelming performance against East Art Academy was making these students take him seriously.

In the canyon,

as Fang Ye destroyed the high ground tower in the middle lane, East Art Academy went on high alert.

“The middle lane is crumbling! Everyone, return to base and defend the crystal!” Liu Zhengqi commanded.

His teammates, understanding the urgency, quickly regrouped.

Their retreat was visible to Martial Saint Academy’s team.

However, Su Ziqiu didn’t bother pushing their own tower.

Fang Ye was already at the high ground; what was the point of wasting time on towers?

“They’ve all retreated! Everyone, head to mid-lane to support Fang Ye!” Su Ziqiu commanded.

Her teammates quickly gathered in the middle lane, fully agreeing with her strategy.

In truth, they hadn’t expected Fang Ye to handle the enemy so well alone…

As for Fang Ye himself, he didn’t mind.

Support or not, he was fine.

With six kills on his record (his opponent’s mid-laner had returned to defend the high ground only to be killed again), he only needed one more kill to achieve his godlike status.

Soon,

both teams gathered on the high ground, preparing for the final showdown.

“Don’t go outside the crystal’s range; it has high attack power. Stick close and fight near the crystal!” Liu Zhengqi encouraged his team, “As long as we win this one fight, we still have a chance to turn things around!”

On Martial Saint’s side, Su Ziqiu was rallying her team, “This is the last wave; don’t mess it up. If we win this, the match is ours!”

“Shengnan, Liu Qiangsheng, Zheng Bing, once the minions arrive, you three go in and prevent the enemy from clearing the minions. Fang Ye, focus on attacking the enemy, and I’ll go for the crystal!” Her strategy received unanimous approval.

It was the most effective approach for their situation.

Fang Ye glanced at Su Ziqiu, a hint of admiration in his eyes.

Though simple, her strategy made the most of each player’s strengths, a solid plan for her first match.

Moments later,

the minions arrived. “Go!!” Su Ziqiu shouted.

The team charged toward the crystal.

Zhao Shengnan was in the lead.

Despite her sturdy appearance, she feared death and had invested all her points from Zones 2 and 3 into physical endurance, making her the tankiest among them.

Of course, she couldn’t compare to Fang Ye.

Charging into the crystal’s attack range, she withstood its onslaught.

The opponents were fully prepared and started attacking immediately as the enemy approached.

“Hold them off… focus on the minions!” Liu Zhengqi shouted.

The battle broke out instantly!

Fang Ye joined in, his “Fire Fist” attack echoing through the air.

Each blow, practically taking down one opponent!
