OKSTS Chapter 96

**Chapter 96: Martial God Academy in Crisis!**

The “one-wave push” strategy.

It’s a high-risk move and can easily backfire. Typically, only the stronger side, confident in its absolute strength, dares to try it. But now, here was the so-called “wild-card” Martial Saint Academy daring to one-wave push against the nation’s top school…

The announcers and spectators alike wondered if Martial Saint Academy had lost their minds.

“Are they seriously planning to one-wave push Martial God Academy?”

“They’re getting cocky! Just because Fang Ye won one fight, they think they can steamroll Martial God Academy?” “Whoever’s calling the shots over there is a little too bold.”

“Actually, it’s a smart move,” one spectator countered. “A reverse one-wave push could catch them off guard. It might just work.”

“Exactly. With only Fang Ye as the main offensive player for Martial Saint, a prolonged match could give Martial God Academy a chance to turn things around.”

In the sea of onlookers, some insightful fans began to see the method behind the madness.

In the canyon,

the entire Martial Saint Academy team had now gathered mid-lane.

The second wave of minions soon arrived in the center as well.

“Go!” Fang Ye commanded, and his team charged forward, quickly clearing out the enemy minions.

At the same time, Martial God Academy’s Cao Zixiong and Wang Yiming had just reached the middle lane, only to see the entire Martial Saint team gathered together. Their faces turned pale.

“This is bad!”

Cao Zixiong shouted and immediately contacted his teammates, “Shen Fei! They’re all in the middle lane. It looks like they’re planning a one-wave push. We can’t hold them off—get here fast!”

Hearing the message, Shen Fei and the others were stunned. They had never imagined that Martial Saint Academy would be so audacious as to try a reverse one-wave push against them.

“Hold on; we’re coming to help!” Shen Fei shouted. “Everyone, move to mid-lane!”

Meanwhile, Fang Ye and his team had already cleared the minions.

He didn’t wait for the minion wave to reach the tower and immediately ordered, “Zhao Shengnan, charge in!”

Zhao Shengnan, the team’s most durable member after Fang Ye, didn’t hesitate. Although she was usually cautious, she dashed into the tower’s attack zone without fear.

“Boom!”

A blast from the tower struck Zhao Shengnan, and though she let out a grunt of pain, she didn’t retreat.

Seeing her determination, Fang Ye and the others followed her into the fray.

Realizing the danger, Cao Zixiong turned to Wang Yiming, “Take down their tank!”

Wang Yiming, inheriting the versatile abilities of the A-Class hero “Trickster,” formed a deck of cards in his hand, ready to attack.

But before he could act, a blazing fireball shot toward him.

The intense heat hit him even before the attack reached, forcing Wang Yiming to hastily throw his cards up as a makeshift shield.

“Boom!”

The fireball exploded on impact, and though Wang Yiming avoided a direct hit, the blast’s shockwave threw him backward, severely injured.

He wasn’t dead, but he was left with just a sliver of health.

“You okay, Yiming?” Cao Zixiong called out.

“Still breathing…”

But before he could finish, an arrow silently pierced his forehead.

Wang Yiming’s eyes widened as he fell lifeless to the ground—it was Su Ziqiu’s well-timed shot that finished him off.

“Damn it, I’ll take you all on!” Cao Zixiong shouted as he charged.

He knew he had no choice; the minions were already approaching the tower, and if he didn’t act, they’d lose it.

Fang Ye’s team directed all their attacks toward him, and within seconds, Cao Zixiong fell under their combined firepower, with Zhao Shengnan claiming the kill.

“Zhao Shengnan, fall back!” Fang Ye ordered, seeing the numerous wounds she’d sustained from the tower’s attacks.

With the tower defenseless, they let the minion wave tank the damage while they focused on the structure.

Seconds later…

“Boom!” The first mid-lane tower collapsed.

Only then did Shen Fei and the others finally arrive on the scene.

Although he burned with anger over the deaths of his teammates and the loss of their tower, Shen Fei kept a cool head.

“Don’t engage them directly. Fall back to the second tower and hold the line until Cao and the others respawn!”

Shen Fei’s decision was sound. At this point, their best move was to use the tower’s defenses to stall for time until their team regrouped. Fighting head-on would be a mistake.

“Can you hold out a little longer?” Fang Ye asked Zhao Shengnan, gauging her condition.

She gave him a confident smile. “I’ve got this!”

“Alright,” Fang Ye said. “We’re pushing forward. Let’s not give them time to regroup!”

In reality, if Fang Ye wanted, he could reveal his full power and end the game right now, but he wasn’t ready to show his hand entirely.

Once he reached a level where he could dominate without fear, he wouldn’t hold back.

When that day came, no one would dare challenge him. Anyone who did would be met with a single, unstoppable punch.
