**Chapter 99: Victory! The Greatest Dark Horse in History Emerges**

When Shen Fei and his teammates heard the latest announcement, their expressions changed drastically.

“This is bad!” Cao Zixiong shouted. “Those jerks went after the Tyrant!”

“I remember the Tyrant’s buff boosts damage, defense, and speed by 30%, right? Now their power…”

“We’re finished. They’re definitely going to make a final push down the mid-lane. Can we even hold them back?”

Hearing his teammates’ demoralized words, Shen Fei’s face turned grim. “Don’t lose hope. We’re not necessarily beaten!” he shouted, though his voice lacked conviction.

But deep down, he knew their chances were slim. Earlier, even a five-versus-one effort had failed to take down Fang Ye. And now, with the Dark Tyrant’s buff enhancing his team’s power even further—how could they stand a chance?

Confidence gone, Shen Fei’s team was demoralized. By the time Fang Ye and his team regrouped with the Dark Tyrant’s buff and launched their assault, Shen Fei’s group could only manage a symbolic defense before being completely wiped out. Fang Ye alone instantly killed three of them. Shen Fei managed to trade a blow using “Flowing Rock Smashing Fist” to take down Zhao Shengnan, their tank, before falling to Su Ziqiu’s arrows. Liu Qiangsheng and Zheng Bing took down the final opponent together.

With the team wiped out, Martial God Academy’s defenses were left unguarded. Moments later, their crystal exploded into shards.

“We won!!” Liu Qiangsheng and Zheng Bing shouted in victory.

**Outside the Game.**

Watching the crystal shatter on the projection, countless spectators were stunned.

“Did they… actually win?”

“Yes! Martial Saint Academy won!”

“Even though it seemed like they had the upper hand, it’s still hard to believe they actually beat Martial God Academy.”

“Right? Martial God Academy is supposed to be the nation’s top academy, while Martial Saint Academy is… well, just a small-time college. Who would have thought…?”

“The strongest underdog in history has emerged today! We just witnessed a miracle!”

“Haha! This win is amazing! My 5,000 bet just turned into 40,000!”

“Can Martial Saint Academy take the championship in the freshmen tournament this year?”

“With that guy, Fang Ye, it’s definitely possible. That kid is unstoppable! His fire attacks were enough to instantly take down Martial God Academy’s players!”

Some commentators were skeptical. “I don’t know; Fang Ye’s instant kills were because of the Tyrant’s boost…”

“Whatever the case, Martial Saint Academy is the biggest dark horse this year. I’m excited to see how far they’ll go!”

Spectators were deep in discussion as the host took to the stage and announced loudly, “In match forty-seven of the second round, the winner is Martial Saint Academy!”

“Congratulations to Martial Saint Academy for advancing to the next round!”

Applause filled the stadium. Despite many spectators losing their bets, the excitement of seeing such an unexpected victory was infectious.

In the midst of this celebration, the Martial God Academy’s staff seating was silent. Every teacher looked shell-shocked, struggling to accept the reality of their defeat. The nation’s top academy—beaten in the second round, and by a small college, no less.

The vice principal sat rigid, fists clenched, staring straight ahead. Meanwhile, Wang Liang’s face was ashen, eyes vacant. “It’s over…” he thought.

Meanwhile, over at Martial Saint Academy’s staff seating, Yan Tai could not contain his excitement and shouted, “We won!” Other teachers joined in, cheering with him.

“I’ll have to let the headmaster know right away!” their head instructor exclaimed, immediately pulling out his phone to share the news.

Back at the school, the headmaster had been watching the broadcast in his office. Seeing his academy’s victory, he leapt from his seat, laughing with joy.

“Hahaha! They did it! They truly did it!” he exclaimed, startling his secretary outside the door.

At that same moment, Fang Ye’s former high school teacher was also watching the broadcast. He had noticed Fang Ye in yesterday’s match and couldn’t believe that a student with such a modest background in abilities was now representing Martial Saint Academy in a national tournament.

Initially, he dismissed Fang Ye’s potential, thinking Martial Saint Academy’s standards must have dropped. But today, as he watched Fang Ye lead his team to an astonishing victory, his shock turned to fear.

When the host announced that Martial Saint Academy had won, the teacher’s face turned pale. Fang Ye’s talents were far beyond his expectations. With his potential, it was clear that Fang Ye would become a powerful force in the future, a person with great influence in this power-driven world.

The teacher broke into a cold sweat. Years ago, he had been cruel, constantly belittling Fang Ye with harsh words…

The thought of the possible consequences left him paralyzed with regret.
