RWWOKS Chapter 116

This entry is part 117 of 247 in the series The Reincarnation World Where Only I Know the Storyline

“Have you heard? Dark Soul has decided to join this Space War.”

“You mean the controller with the Evil Eye?”

“Yes, apparently to reclaim victory for us. You know we’ve lost three battles in a row.”

“Yeah, the difficulty level of these missions is ridiculous now. I heard the casualty rate has been extremely high.”

“Heh, your information is outdated. It’s not just Dark Soul who’s joining the Naruto battlefield; there are other powerful contenders as well.”

Listening to the conversations around him, Fang Bo approached the massive portal, gently touching it.

【Registration successful. ID 14552 will enter the Space Battlefield in 47 hours.】

After retrieving his Raid Suit, there was no point in lingering in the space any longer. His creditors had all entered their respective story worlds, so Fang Bo had to work hard to make money and repay his debts.

As for his yet-to-be-upgraded talent, it would have to hatch gradually once he entered the story world.

Watching the countdown to the battlefield, Fang Bo turned and left the Space Plaza.

There was still some time, and he needed to familiarize himself with his new equipment before entering battle.

This included mastering how to fly and when to activate the Energy Shield at the right moment.

He had also tried the Mimicry skill, which could only analyze and store abilities he had seen firsthand.

The sorcerer had been quite helpful in this aspect, and Fang Bo finally experienced what it felt like to release a Black Flash.

The sensation of his spirit energy draining was like working through the night only to be called for another day shift, the fatigue permeating every corner of his body.

Fortunately, his spirit attribute was high, allowing him to recover and continue fighting. Unlike Ali, who would be completely drained after each use, Fang Bo could press on.

Now, Fang Bo needed a few battles to test his current strength through the crucible of life and death.

“Let’s check out the training area.”

Spending 20 story points, Fang Bo activated the virtual combat training.

He could choose to project any opponent he had previously fought, and this time he selected Upper Rank Three, Akaza.

Back during the Mugen Train incident, it had taken the combined strength of two storyline powerhouses to barely defeat him.

This time, Fang Bo wanted to see if he could win using his own strength alone.

After an intense, grueling fight, and with the tight cooperation of Jorogumo, Fang Bo finally managed to kill Akaza after he had lost his regenerative abilities.

Both Fang Bo and his shikigami now had spirit attributes surpassing 30 points, meaning there was no longer a significant gap in power between them.

With the assistance of his Mythical equipment, Fang Bo seized an opportunity and ended the fight with a devastating Black Flash.

Without Jorogumo’s venom and control abilities, or the protective energy shield, Fang Bo wouldn’t have lasted, let alone found a chance to use the Black Flash at close range.

It was a difficult process, but he finally emerged victorious.

Defeating Akaza in a one-on-one duel far surpassed the standard strength level of a typical Level One Reincarnator.

This proved how dominant Fang Bo had become.

Given some time to strategize and let his shikigami army grow, the entire battle might have been much easier.

Glancing at Muzan’s projection option, he hesitated briefly before giving up.

Even though summoning Muzan in the Reincarnation Space wouldn’t cost him story points, he had no interest in getting beaten up for no reason.

He would need to reach the maximum attribute levels of a Level Two world before even considering a one-on-one fight with Kibutsuji Muzan.

No matter how strong he became, Muzan was still a Demon King-level opponent capable of unleashing terrifying sonic booms with ease.

Soloing Muzan would be akin to fighting all Nine Pillars alone, a daunting task, to say the least.

“Well, no need to be too harsh on myself.”

After a bath and a meal, Fang Bo quietly waited for the portal to open.

Meanwhile, another team arrived at the gate.

The moment the muscular man at the forefront appeared, the surrounding crowd erupted in excitement.

“Whoa, I can’t believe Power King Raghu is participating too!”

“Hahaha, this Space War is getting more interesting by the minute.”

“So far, many top-tier powerhouses have joined.”

“This time, victory will be ours!”

Power King Raghu—just hearing the name made it clear he was a strength-based Reincarnator.

To have a title prefix meant he was a widely acknowledged powerhouse, someone who had achieved a legendary feat.

The lineup for this war was already impressive, and with Raghu’s arrival, it fueled everyone’s enthusiasm even more.

But soon, people realized that the registration for the Space War was full, and not even Power King Raghu could join at this point.

That should have been the case, but then they saw a thin red thread emerging from Raghu’s body, extending toward the portal. It became evident that Raghu was here for a pursuit mission.

This method allowed him to enter a space battlefield already at capacity.

However, since he wouldn’t have any tasks or be able to gain rewards from killing, he would return to the space immediately after eliminating his target.

It was an extremely exhausting and thankless task.

Unless there was a deep-seated grudge or the target possessed a highly coveted weapon, no one would spend so many story points to conduct a cross-world pursuit.

“Captain.” The petite beauty beside Raghu looked at him with concern.

She couldn’t understand why they were targeting a newcomer who had only been through three worlds. Why was the higher-up taking this so seriously?

She wasn’t a core member of the Nests and didn’t know their deepest secrets, nor did she understand the true nature of the “Nests” organization.

An organization-certified elite experiment couldn’t be measured by conventional standards.

To avoid any unforeseen complications, sending Power King Raghu was the safest choice.

Since he was about to challenge his golden main storyline, he had the time, and 90 merit points were expendable for him.

The cost of a pursuit scaled with the number of worlds one had experienced.

To hunt down Experiment No. 7, Raghu had to pay an additional 70 merit points on top of the base 20, totaling 90 points.

After all, he had completed ten story worlds, while his target had only finished their third.

Besides the high merit cost, the pursuer would also be constantly monitored by the space, with their location frequently revealed to the target.

This was why the woman was so concerned about her captain’s safety.

“Don’t worry,” Raghu said with a warm smile, displaying his softer side. “It’s a minor task. Once I’m back, we’ll take on the golden main storyline together.”

“Mm, I’ll wait for you.”

Half-asleep, half-awake, Fang Bo found himself in a canyon filled with yellow sand.

“Ugh.” He spat out the sand from his mouth and began surveying his surroundings.

Around him were many others in a similar situation, far exceeding the expected thirty participants. On a high platform ahead stood several ninjas in brown uniforms.

Clearly, this gathering wasn’t limited to just Reincarnators; many storyline characters were present too.

As everyone regained consciousness, a voice echoed in their minds.

【This world operates under a point-based competition mode. The top-ranking faction will receive additional rewards.】

【Tip: Battle points can be exchanged for merit points on a 1:1 ratio.】

【Warning: Killing Reincarnators from your faction will result in severe punishment.】

Apart from these basic guidelines, several additional battlefield options appeared on the space interface:

【Points List】【Kill Rules】【Faction Shop】【Strategic Objectives】

The Points List is divided into individual and faction categories, both currently blank.

The rankings serve two purposes: to motivate participants and to help weaker factions identify potential targets.

The specific point acquisition rules are as follows:

– Successfully passing the Chūnin Exam will reward you with 20 points.

– Becoming the ultimate winner will grant 50 points.

**For defeating Reincarnators:**

– Reincarnators with no attributes at the max level: 1 point per kill.

– Reincarnators with one maxed attribute: 3 points per kill.

– Reincarnators with two maxed attributes: 5 points per kill.

– Reincarnators with three maxed attributes: 15 points per kill.

– Reincarnators with four maxed attributes: 50 points per kill.

– Reincarnators with all five maxed attributes: 100 points per kill.

If a Reincarnator on the leaderboard dies, all accumulated points will reset to zero.

Killing others isn’t the real challenge—surviving until the end is what’s truly critical. Reincarnators from other factions will undoubtedly target high-scoring individuals.

The Faction Shop currently only offers basic items like kunai and shuriken.

As points accumulate, more diverse equipment and items will become available.

The Strategic Objectives provide a basic overview of the Space Battlefield.

Without a unified goal, finding enemies in a world as vast as Naruto’s could take months.

Based on the released war information, the background of this battle is centered around the Chūnin Exam.

[Background: Recently, Konoha has decided to host a joint Chūnin Exam, with major Hidden Villages sending their best Genin to participate.]

[Strategic Objective: Win the Chūnin Exam]

This indicates that only by participating in the Chūnin Exam can Reincarnators truly engage in this Space War.

Of course, one could choose a different path, like sneaking into Konoha to assassinate enemy Reincarnators.

As for the risks involved, you’d have to find out on your own.

“Winning the ultimate victory gives a direct reward of 50 points,” Fang Bo sighed, knowing that achieving this would be an almost impossible task.

Seeing the character “Baki” standing on the platform, he realized this Chūnin Exam was the one that Gaara would be participating in.

To claim ultimate victory, one would have to defeat this Jinchūriki, who could go berserk at any moment.

At this stage, no Reincarnator could single-handedly defeat the Sandstorm Gaara.

“Unfortunately, victories by storyline characters don’t count towards the faction rankings.”

As the Reincarnators reviewed the battlefield information, details about the Achievement Missions were also released.

[You can earn the following achievements in this world:]

– Genin: Pass the exam to become an official Genin.

– So What If I Only Know Taijutsu: Pass the Chūnin Exam without using any skills.

– Ninja Tool Collector: Collect five ninja tools with special effects.

– Environmentalist: Defeat three Fire Release-using ninjas.

– Journey Across Nations: Leave your footprints in all five great nations.

– Rogue Ninja: Betray your own faction.

– I Have a Summoning Beast!: Obtain a summoning beast from this world.

– Ninjutsu Goes Crazy: Defeat ten opponents using only ninjutsu.

– Financial Freedom: Earn ten million ryō.

– Increase your rank to unlock more achievement missions!

“Now that I’ve been promoted to lieutenant, quite a few more achievements have been unlocked.”

At this moment, the silent Jōnin, Baki, who had been observing the crowd, finally began to speak.

A new world, new excitement awaits!
