RWWOKS Chapter 153

This entry is part 154 of 247 in the series The Reincarnation World Where Only I Know the Storyline

“Those people…”

A reincarnator using *Eagle Eye* hesitated before speaking, “They look like the guys from the Iwagakure camp.”

No one present was a fool. It was easy to figure out the purpose of the enemy’s arrival.

Two major camps had just fought a bloody battle. Various skills and potions were on cooldown, leaving them powerless to resist the Iwagakure reincarnators.

Even more telling, the strongest members of both camps were utterly exhausted.

The Ghost Swordsman Yordle was panting heavily, leaning against a tree, and Dragon Emperor Aerred had lost his earlier dominance as well.

Yordle glanced at the eight-meter-tall stone giant in the distance and then turned to his challenging opponent. “What do you think?”

In other words, should they continue fighting?

“Let’s call a truce for now,” Dragon Emperor Aerred straightened up, his gaze filled with disdain for the enemy. “We can’t die at the hands of such scum.”

“Alright.”

With the answer he wanted, Yordle turned to leave, intending to activate the camp’s final trump card.

There hadn’t been an opportunity to use it before, but now was the perfect time to unleash it on those Iwagakure bastards.

It was clear now who was behind all this.

If Iwagakure wasn’t pulling the strings, how could they show up with such a complete formation?

The appearance of the massive *Rock Soldier* card further confirmed the enemy’s capabilities.

“Boss, the enemy’s Rock Soldier might be a problem.”

“We can’t worry about that now. If we don’t use it now, we won’t get another chance.”

“Alright.”

From behind the earthen wall, Fang Bo peeked at a group of people whispering to each other.

He was already prepared to run, but before leaving, he wanted to see what tricks they had left.

Soon, he saw something incredibly familiar.

A devastating machine gun: the *Gatling Buddha*.

Without giving anyone a moment to be shocked, the gun immediately began spitting out torrents of fire.

Its terrifying firing rate of 3,600 rounds per minute was unmatched by any force in this world.

The Iwagakure reincarnators at the front line were decimated in an instant.

One second, two seconds, three seconds…

When the gunfire ceased, seven reincarnators lay dead in pools of blood, and countless others were wounded.

The reincarnators in the Iwagakure camp instinctively froze as they watched the man reloading the weapon.

There was no way around it—the enemy’s firepower was overwhelming. No one wanted to rush in and become cannon fodder.

Even though they knew the Gatling gun couldn’t hit everyone, those at the front would be the first targets.

What had been a fierce Iwagakure charge was now halted by the *Gatling Buddha*.

Seeing that things couldn’t continue like this, Stoss ordered his Rock Soldier to move to the front.

“I’ll lend it a hand,” Victor said as flames erupted from his feet, propelling him onto the Rock Soldier’s shoulder.

As Iwagakure’s top fighter in the first-difficulty reincarnation worlds, Victor possessed a rare mechanical talent, having transformed himself into a cyborg.

He had traveled through various technological worlds, gathering numerous advanced technologies, ultimately becoming a force with overwhelming firepower.

“Let me show you what real firepower looks like.”

The reactor on his chest gathered massive amounts of energy, draining two of his 500-point batteries.

With 20 points of spirit power fully charged, Victor’s attack was beyond frightening.

“Take this!”

**Full-Power Ultra Incineration Cannon!**

As the two forces prepared to clash, Fang Bo rushed over to the two young girls, picking each one up by the scruff of their necks. Activating his hovering speed boost, he shot into the sky.

Jugo, meanwhile, hoisted Guren onto his back, chakra spewing from his body to follow closely behind Fang Bo’s group.

Regardless of the outcome, Suna couldn’t keep fighting this battle.

No one wanted to fight a losing war, and Fang Bo certainly wasn’t going to risk his life for a bunch of strangers.

“I wouldn’t even do it for people I know,” Fang Bo said to himself.

Once Xianglin confirmed that the enemy’s presence was no longer detectable, the group of five finally stopped to rest.

“Phew, that was exhausting.”

After dumping the two kids unceremoniously on the ground, Fang Bo plopped down beside them to catch his breath.

He pulled up the leaderboard to check the current standings.

Previously, both Suna and Iwagakure had been near the bottom, but after this latest battle, Suna had shot up to second place.

Much of that could likely be credited to the *Gatling Buddha*, and Fang Bo himself had even made it into the top ten on the individual leaderboard.

As for Iwagakure, having successfully executed their strategy, they now sat at the top of the five-camp leaderboard.

Fang Bo had a strong suspicion that these guys hadn’t just schemed against Suna and Kumogakure, but had also set traps for Konoha and Kirigakure.

“They sure have a big appetite.”

As he watched the rapidly changing points on the leaderboard, Fang Bo pulled out the loot box dropped by the reincarnator.

Whether he got something useful now was a matter of luck.

“If nothing good comes out, I’ll settle for some plot points.”

As a struggling summoner, the guy likely had a decent stash of plot points on him.

Now, it was all going to belong to Fang Bo.

**You are opening Kill Box No. 14557.**

**You have received 655 plot points.**

**You have received Marshadow’s Pokéball.**

**You have received Pidgeot’s feather.**

**Pokéball (Marshadow): You can summon this Pokémon, but that doesn’t mean you can control it.**

**Pidgeot’s Feather: A decoration, not very valuable.**

“Fantastic!”

Fang Bo casually stuck the feather into Yaoyao’s hair, then stood up and walked over to perform another summoning ritual.

Once Jorogumo and her minions appeared, he stepped into the center, holding the Pokéball.

Just before he activated it, Fang Bo paused, glanced around, and moved to a spot with better lighting.

“Guren, make a sealed crystal chamber that can reflect sunlight inside.”

Since Marshadow was known for hiding in shadows, Fang Bo decided to create an environment full of light to eliminate its hiding spots.

“Got it,” Guren replied without hesitation.

After the consecutive battles, she had unknowingly started to follow Fang Bo’s orders.

Perhaps it was his strength that had won her over, or maybe it was his artistic charisma. Either way, they all felt it was natural. Even Xianglin had begun healing everyone’s injuries without needing to be asked.

Once everything was ready, the four combatants stepped into the sealed crystal chamber.

Fang Bo, Guren, Jugo, and Jorogumo—together, they couldn’t possibly lose to a mere Marshadow.

Just because it ruled in the Pokémon world didn’t mean it could do the same here.

Today, Fang Bo was going to teach it that lesson.

He threw the Pokéball, and soon, Marshadow appeared before them.

As it realized who had summoned it, rage contorted its face, and its body began to change color.

This was Full-Power Marshadow, a state it only entered when enraged.

At this point, the mythical Pokémon was filled with destructive intent, clearly showing it had no desire to be Fang Bo’s summon.

“Good, that saves me the trouble of feeling conflicted.”

A bullet shot forward, and two weapons followed closely behind.

Fang Bo’s initial attack signaled that there was no longer any chance for peace between the two sides.

At full strength, Marshadow was incredibly powerful, advancing and retreating with precision, and possessing a vast array of moves and skills.

At times, Fang Bo couldn’t help but wonder how the summoner had managed to capture it in the first place.

However, no matter how strong it was, Marshadow couldn’t escape the inherent weakness of Pokémon: their fragile bodies.

To put it bluntly, Pokémon had short health bars, unable to withstand many heavy blows, leaving them with no choice but to rely on dodging.

But constant evasion couldn’t last forever. With one slip, Marshadow was hit squarely by Jugo’s iron fist.

Severely wounded, Marshadow immediately activated its special move, *Counter*, doubling the damage it had taken and sending it right back.

The double-damage *Burst Strike* landed directly on Jugo’s chest.

Blood splattered everywhere, and Fang Bo could even see Jugo’s internal organs being smashed.

Fortunately, Jugo’s unique physique meant a mortal wound wasn’t fatal for him; if it had been Guren, she might have already been on her way to the Pure Land.

Of course, Marshadow didn’t come out unscathed either—Jugo’s iron fist wasn’t something easily taken.

Looking unsteady on its feet, it seemed Marshadow couldn’t take much more punishment.

“What a terrifying summon,” thought Guren, who believed Fang Bo was attempting to tame the enemy’s summon.

Given its strength, it would indeed be a valuable asset if they could tame it.

**Crystal Release: Hexagonal Crystal Pillar!**

“Stay still, you beast.”

Guren’s Crystal Release was powerful enough to temporarily control even the Three-Tails, but before the furious Marshadow, it was nothing more than a punch away from destruction.

As Fang Bo watched the afterimages on Marshadow’s fist, he slowed his breathing.

The enemy was a classic high-speed, high-attack, low-defense type—there was no room for error. If Marshadow got a solid hit in, Jugo’s fate would serve as a perfect warning.

Golden ripples slowly surfaced, and *Crescent Moon Dragon* shot out like a streak of dazzling light, crossing dozens of meters in a second.

But Marshadow was even faster, moving beyond the range of Fang Bo’s *Qi Perception*.

As a result, Fang Bo’s weapon missed its mark.

“It’s coming for me.”

Fang Bo’s heart tightened, and a golden flash of lightning appeared in front of him.

**The Giant Brothers Trio arrived!**

But even with all three of them, they were no match for Marshadow.

Before the golden light had even fully faded, Marshadow’s tiny fist had already struck Fang Bo in the chest.

**You have received Marshadow’s Mega Punch, inflicting 348 points of blunt force damage.**

**Talent “Heart of Steel” activated, restoring 160 health points.**

The terrifying, unstoppable force of the punch sent Fang Bo flying into the crystal wall, embedding him so deeply he couldn’t even pull himself out.

This was *Mega Punch*, one of Pokémon’s strongest moves. Fang Bo had never experienced such a devastating single attack.

If it weren’t for *Heart of Steel* healing him, he would have died the moment he crashed into the crystal.

Both Fang Bo and Jugo had been severely wounded by Marshadow’s full power, a testament to just how strong their enemy was.

“I underestimated it,” Fang Bo muttered as he spat out a mouthful of blood, his gaze still as firm as ever.

Just like Jugo before him, Fang Bo knew they couldn’t withstand Marshadow’s attacks for long, but he also knew that the enemy wouldn’t leave unscathed.

Why summon the three giant brothers?

Fang Bo didn’t summon them for healing or to use them as shields. He summoned them to create an opportunity for counterattack after he was knocked back.

His trump card? The seven alchemical bombs he had just stuffed into one of the giant brothers’ hands.

**Boom! Boom! Boom!**

Marshadow didn’t have time to dodge and was blown away by the explosions, landing perfectly at Jorogumo’s feet.

Seizing the opportunity, Jorogumo slashed with her spider blades, simultaneously summoning several small energy spiders to strike Marshadow.

Though the poison attack had no effect on the ghost-type Pokémon, Jorogumo’s physical attacks landed squarely.

Already on the verge of collapse, Marshadow couldn’t endure the continuous barrage.

Despite attempting a counterattack, Jorogumo persisted, taking the hits from *Thunder Punch* and continuing her onslaught.

Finally, after a series of ferocious blows, the terrifying enemy was defeated beneath Jorogumo’s relentless strikes.

**You have killed Marshadow.**

Hearing the system’s notification, Fang Bo finally breathed a sigh of relief.

“That’s enough,” he called, stopping Jorogumo from delivering any more blows, then ordered her to enjoy the feast of Marshadow’s remains.

As for himself, he needed to figure out how to unstick himself from the crystal wall.
